This show is geared towards many different groups of people...

My mother in her late 50's loves this show...because it puts a smile on her face. The reason she is so in love with the show is the comedy...and she calls it Khushi. My mother most likely doesn't even know this forum exists nor does she care to discuss anything after watching the episode. She just watches for pure entertainment at the end of a hard work day...just like the rest of the billion aunties out there.
I don't think the CV's write this show just for forum members. I love this show too it way different from the serials I have ever watched and that has a lot to do with the comedy. It's not slapstick comedy either...it's pretty darn original. I thought the scene today where Khushi was imagining her family mourning for her was AWESOME. Never seen anything like that...HP crying, Laxmi and "What The" CLASSIC.
I went back and watched many episodes from the beginning and I see really no difference. In fact I find myself now more entertained then ever. Khushi has always been crazy, and Arnavji is and has always been bi-polar. All the episodes before had comedy and a bit of serious drama. Or one episode would be comedy and the other would be serious.
Did any of you see the latest promo...so OBVIOUS it will be getting serious soon so why all the complaining??? It pretty OBVIOUS the the whole suicide track will be leading to the big reveal by Arnav. I don't know how people don't understand that...but they can see hidden meanings in Khushis sparkling chappal or whatever.
I think people here over analyze the show way too much...sometimes what you see on screen is actually what its meant to be and there is no hidden meaninings or symbolism.

Yep I agree with you. My nani watches the show and it always makes her laugh and she enjoys it! She calls it Khushi too lol!

As forum members, we always put so much thought and analysis into every episode that sometimes we lose touch with how the episode actually looks to the other viewers out there who simply watch it for entertainment value. We're so in touch with the show that every blooper, inconsistency etc stands out like a sore thumb for us LOL!

We can't expect an epic episode very day tbh. I've enjoyed the comedy track, even though it has been annoying at times. And the comedy is very original! The bed sharing scene was BRILLIANT!! Just need to take the episode at face value these days and not put too much brainpower towards dissecting it in my opinion.

I want the show to go on till I have great-grandchildren (and I'm not even married yet lol) so I'll put up with a bit of comedy as long as the story finds it way back!

Amen sister!!😉
I absolutely agree with every single word u said!
usually soaps are made for this...to entertain us...I watch IPK religiously everyday because it put a smile on my face after a long busy day..and I absolutely don't mind the comedy..from the first episode till today's one every single episode entertained me..and sincerely I can' find any episode that i'd skip!
And now i have this little fear that with the revelation it's gonna be serious but I have full faith in the CVs...they are not gonna change Khushi in a depressing girl...I still want the pagal Khushi!!

v well said... Khushi has been always like this...there was one scene when Arnav helped her and cleaned her eyes from dust...right after that, she thought, he was doing magic over her...so whats new in Khushi's character...she has always been like this...actually everybody is getting impatient about MU being not cleared...but as we know now, its going 2 be somewhere in next week..so..a lil more patience 😊

I agree. This show is unique and it attracts old and young. I only wish they give better settings and clothes to actors.

Yep this is exactly how the show has been since the beginning. As far as analysing is concerned, the creative team have certainly put in some brilliant moments of symbolism and hidden meanings but sometimes all we need to do is sit back and enjoy. Great post!
