Pontficating on a Friday morning wondering if one should read differing points of view on the IF regarding the drama one watches.

Would this subsequently lead us to view a much beloved ( as the case may or may not be) drama serial in a less then perfect manner, impairing, our pure unadulterated pleasure, rendering it imperfect.

Do we become biased, basing our preconceived notions/ideas, as a prelude to defacing, a potentially good half an hour's worth of escapism.

Rambling on are we prejudiced by others' opinions/thoughts spoiling, to a certain extent, what could/would have been a latent excellent entertainment

So my beauties here's a poser. Have you allowed another's point of view to marr your pleasure and in all honesty should you place yourself in this quandry/quagmire

Pontificate away and share my beauties. I am never confused ever😕

I hate this one! Because I stand guilty. It takes a very strong emotion one way or the other for me to stand by it :) Yes, yes I admit it today!

So whenever my response to the show (specifically) has been lukewarm, I have found myself being led down a different path - all out of my own volition of course.

I hate that :)

Guilty as charged and honesty prevails.

Then again are we not all guilty of such a deed.

To be led when faced with a lukewarm thought

Wanting and needing concrete confirmation that we are not on our own.

Comfort in uniformity or glee not to be in isolation?

Another thoughtprovoking question that my superego n conscience has aimed at me on numerous occasions when i would spend hours reading what people have to say about an episode and than changing my opinion n finding faults in an episode i had actually enjoyed a few minutes back. Unfortunately i feel that this forum has taken to a hierachial order, at the top there r the few analysers n reviewers who have there own fan groups who follow their judgements n blindly agree. Then they r those that dont follow any particular person but dont have the courage 2 dissect to another view. As a result we r left with less different opinions n a very partial way of luking at each episode.

I log in to IF around 20.30 IST to check what people have to say the day's episode - good or bad! End up watching it om TV even though it receives only bad reviews! So addicted I am!!

I discovered Indian Forums in February (even though I thought I knew every little thing that the Internet offered) and found the IPKKND forum in March. Since then my 22 minutes of escapism has turned into one big question every week day – whose team am I on today? And I hate that. So, I first take sides and then I proceed to switch teams as I traverse through opinions across time zones, which just makes me dishonest and or weak. Since I am so self-aware, I should quit this place. But I need a new toy. I suffer from ADD and OCD simultaneously. So while I am whimsy enough to get easily bored with things, I am also obsessive enough to get sucked into it. But the Internet is magical and I hope that I will find something shinier and prettier in the next 3 weeks or so. Befuddled much.

Ah Annie darlin...selamat Pagi...

this is my newly discovered half hr of escapism...but I-F...he he he...truth be told it was i-f that influenced me to watch the show...

i-f entertains me...and I am continuelly bowled over by the talent...the fiction writers...but now more and more the daily posters...the wit and their ability to twist things...

I most often peek in here b4 I venture to wach and have on occassion only come here if I have had only 30min spare for the day...

I usually dont get involved in the foray of serious pontification re the show and its reflection on real life issues...unless the pontifier is someones Special😉...or the issued is discussed from a very narrow point of view and begs a diff one (an as u know I do different really well)

Som artecles of i-f have managed to tickle😆🤣 me an yet others have left me going and yet others😲

So in short does i-f influence my viewing pleasure...ermmm...no...i-f is my viewing pleasure...

Its good to be well informed.

Its whether one becomes biased by the information which may become an issue

Looks like nothing impeded your viewing pleasure

Does it have to be a chosen team?

Can it not be merely a difference of opinion?
Should it be prejudicial enough to become judgemental

Please don't quit love reading your posts

Such talent shoud be shared

We may all be seeking shinier and prettier toys if this drama is brought to its conclusion
