Lalit Mohan seems to have made a statement that he is going to get involved at some level. If that happens, I'm hopeful.

Hey I agree about the quality of the show has come down badly...maybe its somehow connected with PH having financial problems...and dragging of MU because of ME dates.

Just for your information peeps LM had left IPK right back in February...exact date to be around Arhi marriage because he then started directing humse hai life if u see around 15th feb epis of humse hai life u can see LM as director ..it was only announced in IPK titles in March during holi...so right from marriage its been arshad who has been directing the episodes so holi epis were directed by arshad...that doesnt mean IPK is good everythng seem to need attention editing costumes grooming direction camera angles and the main one SCRIPT!!!

Technically, Lalit Mohan stopped fully directing IPK way before even Feb.. In fact, the comedy during the time Akash proposes Payal, etc. was mostly directed by the new director.. but, Lalit Mohan stepped for the important bits.. for example, the romance during and around Teri Meri.. the hate marriage .. and later, he made an appearance during Holi too.. he completely stepped out after that.. and he said that himself as well.. the point here is that while there may be problems with all other aspects of the serial too, a good director can cover up all of it.. for example, if you look at it, what exactly was the script during the guest house episode? There is barely 2 minutes worth of dialogues... the rest of the script for that day must've read something like 'Khushi faints.. Arnav stares at her, and carries her home.. then stares some more'.. but what Lalit Mohan and Nissar (who were both the directors at that time) did to that episode was phenomenal. A good director can cover up for most flaws in a daily soap.

Great post!!! 👏 I hope someone @IPKKND is listening because most of us have been singing the same song since Feb, and even more loudly so after Holi, but the show keeps spiraling downwards.

And of course this week the show hit the absolute bottom with Khushi deciding to commit suicide because some slimy TV host told Khushi that her husband is trying to kill her so he can be with his ex- and Khushi's dear friend, Lavanya! I mean this is such utter crap that one wonders if this isn't some deliberate ploy to shut the show down?! 🤢

I can only hope that this suicide track was the absolute bottom and tat the show might go up from here, but you never know. These days CVs only talent is in surprising us with even more lame story/dialog/direction that one would have thought possible.😆

Thanks Lasies for this detailed analysis and for confirming its Lm with the magic touch. At least we have a clear answer - there have been so many comments dlaoring around about how Arshad ahs been dire ting the good scenes i was flummoxed about the see sawing quality

Has anyone written to Lm with what the problem is? I mean we all have been crying in general but do they know specifically what has been making us cringe ?
Regarding Barun stripping, the OTT comedy, the character assassinations , it's been so horrible watching

So what do we want to see instead - have you got a wish list? That will probably get things on track faster
For eg I really want more reflection from the leads just quiet contemplation with flashbacks.. Those were so powerful. Khushi even thinking about the good and the bad. Some discussions between Garima and Babuji with Babuji giving some silent assurance to Garima for Khushis marriage, a new character entry who could in the long long run be Anjali's love interest..

Everyone, like you mentioned, has been quite frustrated. Our intent was to put all the points in one place and scream at the top of our voices from wherever possible. To that end, we posted a diluted version of this on the IPK page, on Lalit Mohan's page, on the Star Plus page, and we even sent a copy to Nissar Pervez's FB message box.

For the longest time, I feared that the IPK team was hearing and not listening to all our voices. Because we have been making SO much noise that it's impossible that they cannot hear. But, recently, with Lalit Mohan posting on FB that he is going to look into the situation, I see hope.

Now that Lalit Mohan has posted that he is going to get involved, I'm quite hopeful. If he is getting even remotely involved, he is the kind of man who will make sure that it's not half-baked. He'll make sure that end product is worthwhile. So, if he's in fact going to help the IPK team, then we don't need to give any suggestions at all. He is one man who knows his job. And some more.

😳 alrightyo...I'm hear to eat my words...atleast in part...I still believe that the success of a show or lack thare of cannot entirly rest on the shoulders of one person...having said that...I watched today...and realised that the camera angles used and the shots dfused the emotions of the moment and previously they did more whith way little story...even tho I loathe the dupatta making luv scenes...the had more umph in it...so yes tho the story does need to pick up...dirction is farely lacking,...there u go I said it...I eat my words...
