Wow Priya... You have just outdone yourself yet again. 👏 What a gorgeously written Crooner! The poem on the Mirage was just mindblowing - you need to start publishing, girl - you write so brilliantly! ⭐️ And I second the demand for a blog from Anjali!

Today I really feel a push to write (and I've been pushed out of the gutter too! 😆) based on everyone's posts - read as many as I could so far: Anjali, Soni, Savvy and the whole host of others. For me the episode could have worked better on a lot of levels with a few small things - completely my opinion! 😊 Will get to them shortly.

Why do I feel like this whole marriage track was decided just like that, like a sort of filler? They need to go back to RM tomorrow because Arnav made that a condition for the repair, and so conveniently the bride's mother mentions that the whole ceremony will be conducted in one day so that they can remain for the whole thing and then go home. Also it was just quite convenient that suddenly the Gupta House has become the place where all the activities for the wedding are happening - whatever happened to Preeto's own house?

Given how long Akash and Payal's shaadi went, I am fairly sure that the whole of the next week will be devoted to this shaadi and then on Friday will come the dhamaka (when I'm not here 😭) of Arnav revealing why he married Khushi. I am wondering if he will tell her out of guilt - I thought he would just be pushed too much at a point and reveal the truth to her. But there are signs pointing towards guilt as well.

While the Payal-Akash wedding track was about love and romance, this wedding track is all about marriage. It's about the meaning of marriage, the emotions attached to it, the sensibilities of the people involved, the dreams of those who are getting into it, the thoughts behind it - and to emphasise this as a contrast to what Arnav and Khushi are going through. Or rather to emphasise that the feelings and emotions that accompany a marriage between two people who love each other are there, but hidden behind the wall of a misunderstanding and hurt that they have caused to each other. And possibly to bring them to the fore - and to pave the way for the revelation of truth.

If they have a confrontation about it and it happens in GH, I am not very sure Khushi will go back to RM with Arnav. Again, a couple of signs pointing to it is the reason I'm saying this: one, that Arnav said, "jab main chala jaunga" about the AC and not "jab hum chale jayenge" and two, the way Khushi was crying when she left RM. A minor separation might be in the offing (which would make me maha sad, but what to do ) with a lot of Rabba Ve flashbacks to last week, this week and the week after, and then leading to the maha episode where possibly the drama being discussed on the forum this morning, of Arnav kidnapped by Shyam (!!) and Khushi saving him (!!!).

Then I'm guessing what will follow is Arnav realising Khushi loves him and they are together again etc. etc... Phew, it sounds so weird to even say that! I kind of hope they don't go down such a cliched route (I mean I'm happy it would be the guy kidnapped for a change, not the girl, but still!) - it would be kind of maudlin to say the least. 😕 Even if they do go down this route, the execution better be really good. If Khushi feels the pain that Arnav went through during the whole ambulance sequence, this track would be ok, but it would be kind of insulting to Arnav's character, who shouldn't allow himself to be kidnapped by an idiot (sorry to use the word, but he tried to kill his wife with perfumed ether and a scorpion! 😆) like Shyam. Anyway, let's see how it goes.

What I actually would like is really what Priya has mentioned - a second chance at love. No sahi, no galat, nothing. A confession rather than a confrontation - of why the marriage happened. And then the movement forward - either of them as a couple together tackling this issue, or of them handling the issue independently but brought together.

Talking about the episode itself, today, Sanaya was just unbelievably brilliant. Not only was she looking amazingly beautiful in that lehenga (or was it a sari? couldn't make out) but she carried herself so well, her emotions were spot on - the laughter at Arnav's plight with the gobar, the mischief while getting Arnav to agree to the repair service, the hurt when thinking about her marriage, the helplessness when she looks into the mirror and sees Arnav there - she was amazing. I really felt the pain in Arnav actually only when he gulped looking at her and hearing her voice her dreams, and then in the end when he turned back to look at her - I was so lost in Khushi's feelings. Kudos, Sanaya! 👏

Coming to the Gupta ladies - oh my God, Garima is beautiful. And while I loved, the makkai ka bachcha scene (I have the same cookbook they were cooking from, and I was sooo thrilled about that little fact 😆), I thought it was a little weird that they wanted to cook something for their damaad in the middle of crazy marriage preparations. My mom's take on that is that they would have thought that he would not eat what was prepared as part of the marriage celebrations and so they have to make something special (I hope to God that she does not treat the poor guy I eventually end up marrying like that - he will become such a spoilt brat! 😕). But they are unbelievably cute, which is why I am saddened by the thought of Arnav & Khushi returning to RM. That feel, that pull, that closeness is easily avoided in RM.

Anyway, as I said, it is possible that Khushi might not return to RM with Arnav. Somehow I have the feeling that the GH women will end up thinking that it's because Khushi has been troubling Arnav that the troubles are happening - Garima as well as Buaji have noticed that Khushi goes out of her way to irritate Arnav. This might pave the way for Khushi to come back to RM, with the GH thinking she's responsible for their separation (sorry, I seem to be on some kind of prediction roll here - gutter se nikla, toh duniya dekha! 😆). I'm not sure how else this would play out though.

The Dungwa-Ve / Gobarwa-Ve was simply to get our boy wet and start up our Droolwa-Ve, I'm sure. It's dangerous to post anything on the Crooner nowadays - the CVs just pick up our thoughts and act upon them - I mean look at what they did with the Woodwa-Ve! 😆 Anyway like Soni said - humari dil ki khwahish poori ho gayi! 😳 They just need to throw water on him about once a week and I will be happy! 😉

Was it me, or was Payal really good as a bhoot? 😆 She just looked so bhoot-like! Mami and Mamaji are the ultimate couple on IPKKND! Someone needs to make a VM on them, pronto! 😃

Above all though, the people who have outdone themselves are the dialogue writers. Even more so than the story writers, I have immense respect for the dialogue writers of IPKKND. The innuendos, the double meanings, the layers in every scene in every episode are just too good. It's what makes scenes stand out (like I remember how Arnav was talking about the media making AR into a monster just when the Shaitan-Sundari tale was going on - fantastic!) and what makes IPKKND special. You can watch the episode thrice, and there will still be different things to analyse the fourth time you watch.

Now coming to what would have worked better for me - I'm a compulsive list maker so here goes my list:
1. Some kind of feeling of sadness on the part of Khushi about the idea of leaving GH, relating to how Arnav is different here.
2. Some feeling of regret on Arnav's part about going back to RM (it was just brought up very randomly to get them to go back - you can't even tell that he's unhappy about being at GH).
3. The girls questioning Khushi asking her about her husband in addition to asking about her own self. I would have loved to see Arnav's expression if she had talked about her dream husband and interspersed it with some of their romantic flashbacks.
4. A scene with Arnav admiring how gorgeous Khushi was looking in that lehenga. It's not everyday that she's dressed so beautifully and the Rabba Ve would have been better used there.
5. A minor one - Khushi admiring Arnav during the Dungwa-Ve rather than the other way around - come on, he was dripping wet! If they had to do a Rabba Ve in that, they could have done it that way.

And of course above all, the one thing I wanted, a precap! 😕 Anyway I'm glad the tagline is there so that we don't go mad! My prediction: Monday will go with the music system drama, Tuesday will be some other kind of thing leading to Rabba Ves, Wednesday will be some problem with Preeto's wedding, Thursday will be sorting out Preeto's problem with Arnav helping, Friday will be Khushi questioning Arnav about it and Arnav blurting out the truth.

P.S. I read in one of the posts about Arnav putting the sindoor and mangalsutra on Khushi - I know it's major cliche but I'd love that! 😊

From my blog...an old one...looks like we in for a long night 😉

The night swept in,

Silence that came along played

On the tides of the darknes

The night swept in,

Creatures of twilight

Crept out of their corners

The night swept in,

Wanderers of day lost in translation

Searched their way back to home

The night swept in,

With promises that a new day beckons

On the other end of the horizon!!!

Hun coming from u...thanks a lot 😊
For now I need to read lines better than certain sophomoric scriiblings 😉
Well then lets come up with a joint blog 😆
Undefined

Our love has no name,
Yet it stands to the seasons...
Your touch-Sensual-it completes me.
Your face-Beautiful-it entreats me...
To feel, breath, hold--you, unto me!

A pull unlike any other.
My emotions speak no language...
Seeing, yet not believing.
Knowing, yet judging.

Joy and sadness I bear with you,
Our hearts know no reason,
Only the sum of us matters;
Our only definition: two wholes,
Eclipsed by our souls!
