I'm actually surprised that TRPs increased inspite of first half of last week being a lousy one 😆 Barun.. your strippin did work.. but you dare not repeat that again my dear 'Saawariya'... i would love to see Khushi's feelings but i don't want Arnav to regret he did it for his sister infact he should be angry with Khushi making her cry or atleast emotional which he can't handle of course and then he blurt out the truth

Guilt and Regret and the Bonding

Today it was all about Arnav and the Gupta ladies bonding and I just loved it. This was what I wanted to see in this track and it was in abundance.

Arnav sees the financial trouble he has unintentionally caused the Gupta's - he feels their hurt and understands their situation and straightaway feels guilty. He knows he has done wrong by ordering the food and by getting the AC put - and more importantly he realizes how accomodating Garima and Buaji have been - how they have accepted him just the way he is. He regrets his actions and he falls in his own eyes for bringing them in this situation. Okay - if he feels this much for putting the Gupta ladies in such a situation - then I cannot even imagine how low he will feel when he knows about the blunder he has done with Khushi. True - in a misunderstanding - nevertheless for him it would nearly kill him to realize that he has wronged the person he loves the most.

And just like Khushi said to him once - 'Aap pehle cheezein bigadte hain and phir unhe sudharte hain' - That is what he goes out to do. He realizes his mistake and regret his actions and moves asap to correct it in the way he knows. He brings in the ration of the house - not for one month but if I am to believe for the whole year - (my sis went like - kar kya raha hai ye and I said he is Arnav Singh Raizada - everything is extreme) - That is what I like about him - he is not pretentious - he does what he wants to do - maybe even more and extreme than what is required - yet he does correct his mistakes.

The master of the house

Khushi and the Gupta Ladies were again a bit taken aback by his actions and except Shashi, who had a genuine smile playing on his lips - the other ladies were unhappy - and especially Khushi. But the moment he is questioned on what was the need of it - he promptly replies that he did it for them - for his family as he is the damaad. Generally it is the male member of the family who is the bread winner - who brings in the ration of the house and today unknowingly Arnav again assumes the role of the head of the family. I was expecting a 'beta' but with Arnav a 'damaad' is good enough. The journey of Arnav from 'son-In-law' to 'son' will definitely happen but it will take time. Just like one day Arnav will find it right to call Garima 'Amma'. Also when he is asked on what he would like to eat - he clearly says what he does not want to eat - no pretenses - straight and clear.

What I loved is Arnav's reply to the ladies - his acceptance of being the son-in-law and that he has the right to do anything for them if he feels the need to do so. He does not seek permission - he does not ask - he does it - not caring what his actions might be interpreted as. Then Khushi - the change of expression from unhappy to surprise and then to a slight smile when she hears Arnav accept himself as the son-in-law was adorable.

The first outburst

Khushi's antics have been annoying and pushing Arnav to the edge - yet he has been strangely been very patient about it. Infact I myself am left surprised by his behavior when I saw him taking in all of Khushi's antics. However - his bubble is burst when Khushi forces him to call Garima as 'amma'. He has tolerated of everything but one reminder of a relationship called 'mother' - and he bellows out. One thing is there - Arnav Singh Raizada however strong he may be in front of everyone, deep down in his heart - he has still kept that one relationship alive that means a lot to any child - the bond between a mother and the child. He is an emotional wreck when it comes to his past - he deals with it in his way - his anger is what he hides his pain behind - but otherwise that one thought of the day when he lost his mother - sends him scurrying.

And this is what Khushi saw today - she has seen it before and she saw it again today and she realizes that she has hurt him and she goes behind him to apologize not before hearing an earful from Garima and Buaji. Chalo - atleast they have been noticing that Khushi was being a pain to him all the while.

She goes - he is sitting seething in anger and remembrance of his past - when she apologizes and he stops her. He says that he does not want to stay with her family and her in this 'ghatiya' house and stops and immediately regrets his words. That is who he is - Did he mean it!? Absolutely not - whenever he is angry he says things that he does not mean. Similarly Khushi begins to tell him that she knows about how he feels and how middle-class families live and how she is the one who is seeking answers and he has hurt her but never has she hurt his family and never will she do it.

I loved this scene - Loved because after so many days I could feel Khushi's pain and hurt and the fact that she is actually seeking answers from him. So this one thing made this brilliant. ⭐️

The change in Arnav Singh Raizada

Is he the same man who would practice saying sorry!? Is he the same man who would rather drink his tea alone!? Nope. He is a changed man! So easily he realized that he has hurt Khushi and Garima with his words. He again does it the way he knows best - get something for them. And this sent me off to one of the previous episodes ;

When Arnav and Khushi were bringing Akash and Payal together :

'Main aisa karta hoon - Akash ko tumhare ghar Payal keliye khoob saare expensive guests ke saath bhej deta hoon...'

That time Khushi had told him that matters of the heart were not dependent on expensive gifts and today Arnav implemented it. He could have gotten anything - and yet - what he got was Gol gappe! A very small thing that every middle class family loves to have. He has to say sorry - he does not know how to - yet he does tell them - opening upto them and telling him his reasons and his reasons are accepted with love. Who said this man cringes when love is expressed to him - He does not! When Garima touches him - he does not cringe - he accepts it with his eyes lowered.

The gol gappe I guess were especially brought for Khushi for he knew she was angry. Nevertheless forgetting the rabba ve here and Arnav's expressions (which were adorable) what was noticeable was that he actually sat with them comfortably and drank the tea. I was shocked to say the least. Whenever I have seen him drink tea in the RM - he is either edgy or in his room alone - and yet here he sat with them - drank his tea - looked at the Gupta ladies satisfied while they ate. That is the change and growth he has gone through from ASR to just Arnav.

Pointers

1) I want monologues from both Arnav and Khushi now - it is hard to realize that they are indeed in an MU.

2) I missed Shyam again! Just show him making one move and I shall be glad.

3) Thank god no stripping today. Phew - It was just getting on my nerves

4) Body doubles very apparent - has sanaya already left for London!? And BS needs a break - he looks ill!

5) Khushi and Shashi ji's interaction needs to be shown - since he was the only one she was close to

Favorite character :

Arnav, Khushi, Garima and Buaji - Loved all of them today and I guess my analysis says why.

A must watch episode for all those who have wanted to see less of Khushi's annoying antics and more of Arnav and the Gupta ladies bonding.

Anna, lkoved ut analysis, i have clipped some parts that i loved the most..s, as u said SI was great today..i seriously want the lady playing Garima also tyo improve..otherwise the intensity of the scene where Arnav will call her Amma will really be only be one sided..
