HI Sush,

Was WAITING for your post today as it has been ages since i truly enjoyed an episode. Start to the end with no FFing required. That says a lot and maybe my high spirits last only for today episode it was total FUN !!! Not the most brilliant or the best yet promising.

Fun starts from the word get go when Khushi continues her pativrata natak and has engaged Nani & Di on her side . I really liked the way the ladies were convincing Arnie about now you are joined with that family and Khushi too must be missing her home. She left her home for you can you not do the same for a few days !!! "FEW Days " Yes Khushi has planned this out so you need not worry about work as well. This seemed the right "trigger"...Khushi is up to something and now I will show her how it will all work . If Arnie does not want to do anything he will not do it even if his 3 ladies force him. He sure has agreed but there will be consequences Khushi. Arnie has to have the last word so it is not today we will do it tomorrow. Really liked this segment and yes forgot to mention the RV moment. I think it was better this way than what was shown in SBB coz it would have been fake.

Next was the scene at the GH. For me that was the BEST segment of the day. Seemed so real. The damad is coming for the first time and the ladies are frantically cleaning and mending. Loved bua's line of "Cooler dev laaj rakhna ..taaki Arnav bitwa ka gussa thanda rahe " it was simply hilarious with Shashi babua watching helplessly. I'm glad they have bought the Guptas back their absence was felt.

Moving onto the vidai and her bye-bye to all including HP. Lakshmi was missed. Typical Khushi . Melodramatic & Bollywood crazy every step of the way. The car scene was so husband & wife. Arnie listening to her non stop chattering and she on her call with buaji . Will he like "roti or paratha" Khushi cannot contain her excitement so the only tune she knows is her "Aaj mausum hai suhana..." with new lyrics. Loved her mild reminder while being thrown out of the car "So you will be able to handle buaji alone ?" The car unloading and the plants RV with the new tune was very nice. The one thing that has been good and consistent is the back ground music ( touchwood ) .

The Shyamu & Anji scene I would generally ignore but today for a moment I saw Anji afraid of Shyam and not because of his friendly approach but for his menacing one. Will she ever be able to read and interpret this guy ?

I cannot end before I mention mami. It has taken me a while to form an opinion but I think she is a genuine lady. If you get on to her right side she looks out for you . I loved her "Fishing kare ke padi "... and "Robert.."

A well rounded episode. A flash in the pan or are the CVs serious about mending ways ...next couple of days will tell. Despite several corrections that are reqd to be made as to some crisper editing and changing a few constant scenes as the Delhi roads, or the car breaking scenes to getting better extras or making them do something vs standing as dummies my only wish for the next couple of days is good execution of the "Saajan chale sasural" track and something positive to come out of it rather than the both fighting like enemies.

Lastly I agree with you that the love scenes need more intensity and maybe it is the LM touch or the right impotance is not given to these scenes. I went back to watch the Heer - Ranjha scene ans thought the intensity was good. The one conclusion I came to today is that the IPK team can do it if they set their minds to it. Even filler tracks like today till the MU is over are good if done well nad have a meaing in the large scheme of things. Execution and content...all that is required.

Also I had been watching BArun and he did look sick and a bit off colour. We did get to know that he has been sick and was absent for a few days. He did seem to have stuffed nose. My compliments to these actors who have to be present day in day out to keep the likes of us happy. Great job guys.

Hi Sush, I get to be in early on the adda today- yipee! My spirits are also high coz I really liked the epi after quite a while and the bad moments if any were few.

I really liked 3 parts today- buaji and Amma preparing for damadji's arrival and the 2 Arnie Khushi scenes that are the talk of the forum today. The GH ladies preparing and worrying about small stuff and what he would like to eat etc was so natural and reminded me of India instantly. It was actually nice having Buaji back on screen and never thought I'd say that.

The finger on the lips scene was nice. And I liked that they did not make a big deal out of it or try to create too much intensity out of it. It was something that started casually but affected them both. Thank heavens they did not insert rabba ve there coz that would have spoiled it. Loved Barun's bashful expressions there- sooo cute!! Agree that Khushi called buaji too soon after but hey atleast she did not go into OTT or let me irritate mode as she usually does so I am not complaining!

The plant scene- ok I really liked Barun's looks here with the shave done and less gel! But who misses their plants??!! I mean sure you love gardening and tending to your plants but surely you don't pine for them if u don't see them for a few days??!!! Whatever! I guess they needed to have a rabba ve thrown in. I liked the rabba ve music today- it was different

Now to our soap's villain - I now question if he is supposed to also be adding the comic element by ensuring all his harebrained schemes fail. Today I couldn't decide whether to laugh out loud at his antics or cry and
plead with CVs to atleast make him credible if they want to continue showing him. Anj and him seem
to be capitalizing on her bro and his wife being away to have their own romantic moments by the poolside- ewww!.

Look forward to seeing how Arnav adjusts to the gupta household and it's members including a sankadevi who is back in her comfort zone

She has mastered the art of winning people over. Her secret - attention to detail, she keeps track of even the smallest of details of those around her. Like she brought the plant along just like she used the "churi & kaanta" in her skit. It makes the other person feel special. This probably comes from her own need to be loved, to feel special. She probably hasn't felt that ever in her life, so she tries very hard to make everyone else around her to feel special. In the hope that maybe someday that gesture is returned in her favor...Very touching...

I really liked today's episode...just because of the buaji/Garima scene...it was done well..it was refreshing to see them after a long time...

BS was again good while the ladies tried to convince him...very naturally done.

He was sick...that's why the difference in his look..even his voice sounded like he has a cold...and looked little bit puffed up...The first better. The second one makes him look like he used to in his previous show...which i dont' prefer.

I think LM is coming back if he hasn't. I don't know if anyone noticed Arnav called Mohan to pick up his SUV...it has to symbolize something...

I do think this track is going to be important but BS being sick...it might delay some events...But, don't think khushi will stay back this time...

Hi all! Finally get to post at a decent time... the calm after the home invasion by guests! Sush as you said, more of the same from yesterday, so if you liked the previous epi then I guess this one is likable. As for me, meh...! I'm still going with the IPL dog days reaction...

First the blessings, coz I'd like to stay positive. 😃 How utterly sweet was that plant Rabba Ve? --- the return of the warm, generous, lovable Khushi that ASR is a sitting duck for. He is amused and annoyed by turn by her zany antics, but this is the girl he is vulnerable to! For once this felt real, and the instrumental score totally worked.

The touch on the lips... sweet but not extactly crackling with chemistry. Somehow we seem to be short on combustion off late. Maybe the more intimate environs of Gupta House will help - the lack of a lounger for instance? Maybe the Gupta's won't treat the damadji's space like Times Square- come at any time, gawk, take pictures, push, jostle, litter and leave!

Raizada mansion was stifling all of us. Best of all no Lakshmi as Khushi's BFF!!! So hopefully the Gupta House action will be good for this week?

If that elaborate scene to get the key was just a grand hoax, I'll will be mad. 😡 . Our one shot of moving this wafer thin MU along and that gets foiled??? Say it ain't so - peeleejh! We need some hope that we're inching 1mm at a time towards some kind of resolution (good, bad or ugly!) of the MU.

Sush, I thought the elaborate goodbyes were meant to be played for laughs and perhaps more evidence for Arnav to recognize how much his patni is part of the Rizadas. I HOPE very much that you're right ; that would mean the plot moves forward!

Is Arnav bitua ass whooped or what? 😆 Gotto love it! 👏 He has this and much more coming to him. He seems calmly accepting of his fate. For the most part (except for the stupid childhood FBs) I like how he is being written. Pretty much in character. Now if only Khushi were to beget the same mercy!

Since this is the season for petitions and unsolicited feedback for the producers and SP ---- I have a teeny weenie request of my own. I'll tolerate the complete halt in the story and give you time to draw this out but can we please shuck the OTT Khushi and keep today's version ---- pagal, but cute and very lovable. Please no unprofessional behavior...!!!

Tailpiece: Arnav bitua stopped by the side of the road en route to the Guptas and shaved!!! 😆 I'll take the shave any which way it comes, so no continuity complaints. ⭐️ Sush, I felt like you at first about the pre and post shave ASR, but the post shave version grew on me. He looks less badass and more vulnerable. Suited the plant RV ---- and totally the guy you would take home to momma, which Khushi is finally doing! 😉
