Game of Dominoes: What an apt description to an episode which was the setting for the upcoming MU clearance. But, you found so much to write from this filler episode. A-mazing...So let me say my daily mantra "Fantastic post, Tanthya"
Below is my analysis:
Key of Truth
I have always thought that when we start living with a person, the whole perspective of the way we perceive that person can change. Living together gives you a deeper insight into that person's behavior. We become attune to that person, we start understanding the person's actions, or start predicting his reaction to certain situations. It becomes a kind of an advantage, so much so that a simple eye-lock becomes sufficient to convey certain messages.
Shyam:
Till date, Shyam had one advantage over Arnav. He had lived with Khushi and her family. This has given him great insight into their values and principles. This had also increased his understanding of her and her family behavioral patterns. He had shared tea and had late night talks with her. Even though the dynamics of their relationship was different, he knew Khushi more than Arnav. He knows how her mind works and what her actions will be for a particular situation. He knows how important family is to her, he knows she will never create a ruckus or will reveal the truth to Raizadas. Hence even though, its his fear that Anjali should not know the truth, he has continued his illicit behavior towards Khushi.
Unknowingly, Khushi has always proved an ally to Shyam intentions. She has saved him time and again, be it by not revealing the truth to Anjali because of her paranoia, be it by not telling the truth to Arnav because of Anjali pregnancy, be it by telling Shyam the truth about her marriage or be it by helping Shyam take the impression of the key to the locker today. That key was important and that file has been Arnav's advantage over Shyam. Shyam was aware of this because without knowing what he was against, he really could not move forward in his quest against Arnav or progress his ill-intentions towards Khushi. Even though the key was important, it would still have been difficult for him to reach the locker but here again Khushi proved an ally. Through her innocent actions,she is taking the king out of his kingdom, leaving it open to the enemy for attack. Once Shyam finds the file, Arnav will lose that advantage over him,making them equals.
Arnav:
Arnav's relationship with Khushi was way different than her relationship with Shyam but he really did not understand her. Yes,he knew her, he knew about her innocence, about her values but he really had never fathom the depth of her principles or her values. He did not have any inkling about her behavior or her reactions to certain situations. This was because he really did not understand the dynamics of her family or was not aware of how strong the base of her family is, the base that has always given Khushi the strength to go against anything even the mighty ASR. This was his disadvantage against Shyam and this was the reason it was kid's play for Shyam to manipulate Arnav's thinking against Khushi.
Today, Arnav is heading towards the Guptas, that turf where it all started. He is going to get a first hand experience of all those things that make Khushi Kumari Gupta. He is going to be made aware of values that push Khushi, that influence her. He is going to perceive the principles behind her thinking and her actions. He is finally going to understand her behavior, her values and her principles. He is going to get an inkling to her caring nature and he is going to comprehend that it was not a "Natak", never was, that it was always real. He just might finally see Khushi Kumari Gupta for what she is. This will increase his confusion, this is going to shake his beliefs but this is also going to result in Shyam losing that advantage he right now has over Arnav but Arnav is also going to lose that advantage,the advantage he has with the file and this might just push him over the edge.
Khushi:
Khushi really does not have any idea what she is going to come back to when she returns to RM. For her Shyam is someone who is not of much importance, someone who is "Meethi daalo aur bhool jao" kind of a person. He is an irritant who is supposed to forgotten as soon as the moment passes. Yes he is a problem, but her bigger problem is Arnav. Her priority is only about finding the truth from Arnav and all her actions are geared towards it. Now,she might just get her wish. She might not know the whole truth but she might get an inkling which might lead her to Shyam. She is a smart girl, she has connected the dots before with Shyam and she might this time too with only a small hint.
Till date, we have seen Khushi tolerant about Shyam's actions. She has never given them importance, she has ignored them because she more importance to family and Anjali's pregnancy then her discomfiture. But will she be this tolerant when she realizes the role Shyam has played for her current situation or how much Shyam's actions are affecting Arnav, how disturbing they are for Arnav. Today we saw Khushi using words like "Pati Parmeshwar" and "Pati-vratha". She is a girl for whom marriage is very important and she is not a person who will use these words if she did not believe in them.
When she knows the truth, will we see her becoming Savitri who fought with Yama for her husband, will we see her becoming Sita who gave Agni-Pariksha for her character or will we see her holding only Arnav responsible for not believing her? Methinks if it comes to her character and her husband, she will not stop at anything, she will fight the Yama, she will give the Agni--Pariksha, she will become the conduit through which truth will be revealed, she will become the wall that will protect Arnav from inner as well as outer threats and she will forgive Arnav, whether now or later, we will have to wait and watch.
Thus, Shyam and Arnav are soon going to be on equal standing but I really liked how this played out. Shyam and Arnav, the important players of the game were using manipulations, cunningness, smart and wit to achieve their objectives but it was Khushi, the innocent player ,who through her juvenile actions is actually pushing them or guiding these two players towards the big revelation.
The most important thing and which is going to play a big role in the coming confrontation is the total unawareness of all the three players of the actual true relationship the other two share: Khushi is unaware of Arnav-Shyam, Arnav is unaware of Shyam-Khushi and Shyam is unaware of the Arnav- Khushi. But the biggest player in his game is going to be Arnav-Khushi's relationship which has come a long way from the day these two got married in that isolated temple.
The whole dynamics of their relationship has changed. Now they have started getting used to each other, accepting each other, needing each other, understanding little tidbits about each other, caring for each other. Their relationship has deepen and it is very different from the way it had started. There is not going to be any winner in his game but this relationship that is going to take the maximum blow from the coming confrontation. Whether this relationship will be able to survive the test of hardships coming across its way, whether it bloom or fade away, only time will tell.

Is there some upcoming long-hair competition for all the male leads of this show or is this for the ME?

So, Tanthya they want inputs for their strategies, huh? Interesting, I have a long list:
Plan your story and let it flow through the characters you have already set. Let them merge together. Stop changing your characters for your story and vice versa. Just be consistent Use monologues. Half of your audience watch the episodes only for entertainment, not for mental stimulation. Do not forget that the villain is as important as the main leads. We initially hated your villain, make it so that we hate him again. Remember we watch the same episode multiple times. Every small thing, every minute thing gets noticed. Your initial success was because you were different from other SP dramas. Maintain that and you will maintain the success.
- Last but not the least, all of you are talented, approach it in the right way and you will reach the height of stardom.
