I don't get it. I appreciate his efforts to spare her the guilt and pain.

But again it is inconsistent. If he can hurt her verbally, call her conniving and a liar, why is he saving her pain about his health and her guilt over it.

Yes this is love and one can do crazy things.

But here she would be far less hurt guilty than when she is demeaned. Just my POV.

That's why he is ASR. Incomprehensible to Khushi and many.

But I wish he would be nice to her in person than lying by omission.

Perhaps that day will come too!

hmmm good point... but nowadays he is really cool... we'll have to give to him for not blowing the lid off with her swami thing and ott behaviour in office... he has really calmed down a lot... certainly there are still many flaws in him... and majorly its jealousy as of now that comes into play when he sees her with shyam... that is the time he looses it

i loved him today , we cant look for logics 24/7 he is dat way , dats asr/arnav he loves khushi yet cant accpet it he cant see her guilty so he goes with this new trick !

i dont find it in consistent dats wht arnv and asr is all about

I have noticed that too. When he sees her with shyam or in his last interaction with anji he was brutal. but otherwise he tolerates everything. but last time too when she cared he came up with the no credit line. so what is this doing to khushi's trust.

as i said he is complicated. but why hurt her in person and then spare her pain. that is difficult to understand.

Actually it was lovely the way he hurt her! His character holds that thing that even when you don't to hurt, you end up hurting! He planted the wrong seen in her mind today!

I have been trying to understand the same thing and here is what I feel.

Arnav's mind is a continuos battle ground between his so called rational mind which reminds him of the terrace scene and his heart which loves khushi, a heart which knows her for who she is...and these 2 are always battling...the way khushi took care of him, was genuinely disturbed seeing him unwell goes against his so called rational what u se is true mind...

I feel most of his reactions r a result of which part in his mind is winning the battle at that moment...I think today it was the heart which won but that doesn't mean the other part wasn't present...so he chose to lie rather than just appreciate her deeds...its a fear of hurt which stops him from acknowledging wat his heart knows...

I hope I m making sense...I find it hard to type on a phone so m trying to convey my thoughts using few words...

Hi rima,agree with ur post n actually today i just realised that this story is actually about arnav n anjali,in this story khushi's charecter is treated just like the male leads of others shows i mean her POV is never given an ounce of imp,believe me m feeling so betrayed by this CV's about this kind of treatment of my fav charecter,n guess what its only khushi who has to take blame from the audience as well,i thought this was a love story where both the leads will b given equal imp...

u are making sense. u helped me understand the motive. it is hard for him to accept this girl cares and then know she doesn't. so the denial. got it.
