Ladies as usual you make the episode seem so much more than just what is visible to the eyes and ears! Just a couple of observations:
a/ At the dinner table, when Anjali heard what Khushi had been doing, I thought she looked a little puzzled, then realisation dawned and then a little apprehension. Clearly she figured that Khushi was behaving so, based on the information that she had given Khushi and was not sure whether she thought this was the way she wanted Khushi to make use of the information. A feeling that was reinforced by Arnav fainting ' whether she thought the whole Swami drama irritated Arnav to the extent of him ignoring his health? Which is why she chose to take care of her "chotey" herself, feeding him and getting Akash, and not Khushi to help in even getting Arnav to his room - almost as if not trusting Khushi at that point to do the right by Arnav. In fact during that entire episode, the entire family closed ranks around Arnav, leaving Khushi on the outside ' a rank outsider ' surprisingly even Payal! A sign that when the truth comes out, Anjali would remember these incidents, coupled with her obsession with Shyam and will, at least initially, chose to close ranks on Khushi, alienating her, and making her the interloper.Only later, when she sees Khushi all worried in the bedroom, and that too AFTER SOME THOUGHT, she chooses to console Khushi saying it's ok.b/ As for Khushi's repentance, I felt her repentance was directed more towards herself, rather than at what she had done, maybe which is why, like doodleberry, I felt that Khushi reaction was not up to the mark. Her reactions were more about how could SHE have been so insensitive? How could SHE have not thought about it? How was SHE going to set this right? It is also in line with the fact that she devoured everything without a thought ' a streak of self centeredness as Tanthya pointed out.c/ And finally, her caring for Arnav ' I felt that it was born more out of guilt for what she had done to him than great love for the man. In fact, in the whole of the last one month, I have not really seen anything that makes me believe she loves Arnav. That she was inexplicably attracted to the man, yes, but was she in love with him? No, I don't think she's realised that as of now! Maybe I am biased, and maybe the nonsensical comedy of the last one month, has diminished their chemistry for me, but I just feel that most of the Rabba Ve have a forced feel to them.Or perhaps more so, cos Arnav's torment, his unwilling softening towards Khushi and his torment and helplessness in being unable to stop loving her has been portrayed well! On the contrary for Khushi, her caring nature has been well portrayed ' but she is that way with everyone! Her emotions, her passion, attraction and her love for Arnav, I feel has been by and large ignored or just shown by the way of a few falls, rabba ve etc so unlike say a Diwali I don't feel any intensity from her, even today.Or maybe she is just 18, so is not intended to demonstrate the same level of tumultuous passion and love that Arnav has for her.
