We should instead be proud of Khushi you know. She's independent. She know's that she has to leave this house after few months and has to earn some money for her future. She's not dependent on anyone. Can face the world alone. Where do we get to see such woman character's in hindi serials? I'm glad they haven't portrayed her as the ever sacrificing patnivrata that tolerates everything that her husband does to her.
Been on this forum for a year now and one thing that this forum has taught me is that the world is still male dominated and even a woman does not understand other woman's pain. Sad but true

you just touched my heart with that stattement. this forum and especially members opeed my eyes to the world. no wonder we have so many evil saas and not sasurs. and we bring this up they say why pity khushi as a woman and bring in that angle. leave alone a woman. he has not been fair to her even as a human being when he leaves her out in the cold

How true. We do not even treat animals like the way he has treated her. How can anyone defend his these actions? Especially being ladies themselves. What amazes me is that his every damn little action is defended and Khushi's every damn little action is criticized. Why? Because he's a man. I have read few posts in this forum where people have said that, Of course we will be bias towards Arnav coz we are girls and girls are supposed to be attracted towards men and not women. I was like are you kidding me? Do they mean we are lesbo's only coz we feel Arnav is wrong and Khushi is suffering a lot coz of him. Few months back few ladies had even called people who defended Khushi 'feminists'. Well...If supporting a woman when she's being tortured by a man is called 'feminism' then i'm a 'feminist' and a proud one.

I don't know why the meeting scene was cringeworthy! I thought it was ok. They both have been fighting with each other since Day 1 in front of anyone and everyone. They are too into each other and don't care about anyone...isn't that been shown since day 1. If some forum-walis are cribbing now? She is who she is since day 1...she is a small town gal...and still Arnav loves her isn't that the point of it all? I would hate to see a sophisticated Khushi acting like a upper class gal...! Please that is not what the show is about then it would have been Lavanya in her place...! Its despite their differences how they care and love each other! Agreed there is not much love now but since their marriage love is growing on both sides (though at a snail's pace)...CVs can work on that maybe?

And what makes Arnav so classy because he cusses at everyone? Did anyone see how his nani and mami were dancing for chikini chameli? What classy behaviour people are talking abt I wonder? Neither him nor his family actually in true sense classy isn't it?

At the end of the day its just a serial so chill people!

The Nani-Mami part is soo damn true 😆
The way Mami was doing that chikni chameli step ahem..was that classy? I don't think so.
The way his Mami insults her own daughter in law every now and then. Is it classy? I don't think so.
The way Arnav disses his employees and workers. Is that classy? I don't think so.
Do 'professional business tycoons' behave like this? I don't think so again.
Before questioning Khushi's manners people should have a look at the Raizada's. Even after being in such a posh society for so many years they behave like this and Khushi has just come.

Yes Khushi does many cringeworthy things.
But I have read all kinds of snobbish remarks.
Let me tell you one thing, there are 4th class pass people who have more manners than PHDs. It is all about upbringing.
So ASR is educated. Does it warrant to call people gold diggers and un classy and all that crap? Where s education then. Ok then it is in line with his character. But when Khushi does it, she is uneducated?'
And please don't read the above statement as me against ASR. He is more more wrong for doing this despite being educated.
Going with the character itself, ASR had La and tons of other females to choose from. He still flipped for Khushi. Because beauty of the soul is what money and education can't buy. Class can be bought with good clothes and artificial behavior.
If you are talking about culture, I have never seen more culture in any girl than Khushi. She is OTT. But whenever the need comes valuing people and standing by ASR, she has to the extent that she has hidden many a bruise and many a tear given by ASR.
La was more educated. she stood by and watched khushi huiliated, fall off, and called police on her. who is more cultured?
I hate Khushi's behavior today. But I still adore Khushi as the person she has been shown so far. It is better to be fair while judging and not base it on class and snobbery.
And just in case anyone thinks I am pro-Khushi only have a look at this post I made for ASR.
When it comes to fairness this forum is ready to nail Khushi and understand ASR and that's my problem. Let's be fair.

What I do not get is the difference between Payal and Kushi - I have no problems with Kushi per say - but when Payal is shown to speak better than her it is very inconsistent as between the two if someone should have spoken better it should have been Kushi as she is more outgoing n stuff...

I have noticed that too...when ASR was at his worst behavior with Khushi (in the past and with the MU track) I have seen some of the most absurd reasons people put forward to justify his actions...if nothing else they came up with the demons of his past and this is his character...
but with KHushi, they pounce on her, ready to crucify her the minute she does something to annoy ASR.

I too find many of her antics cringe worthy...today I did not like the way she barged into his office..there is a limit to some things and I wish they hadn't shown it that way.

I guess they are slathering it on real thick so that tomorrow he faints and she snaps out of this childish mode...

I second this bold part, I think that is why today they crossed limits, what frustrates me as I've said before is how polarised the forum is, it is literally Team Khushi v Team Arnav .. it's so rare to find members in the forum who called ASR out on the wrongs he's done before but also who didn't approve of that Khushi office scene today. Like for me, yesterday worked but today barging in and stopping his presentation didn't work.

But the overwhelming hate for her character is unfair and wrong. How can comments be made such as "Khushi makes me disgusted to be a girl" but then those same people say "Ohh I wish I was married to someone like ASR, even if he makes me sleep outside.." - 😆 something clearly WRONG there.

Awwh! Assume that i have received your hug and i'm sending you back one 😉
I'm seriously sick and tired of seeing people bashing Khushi so much when there is no fault of hers. And the thing that pisses me off more is that whilst bashing her Arnav is always defended and praised. Why? Coz he's the male one. Sigh :(

Well said. While I do not exactly agree with what Khushi is doing, people are failing to see why she is doing this. She wants out! She has been forced into this marriage. She is a girl who likes to live life on her own terms. and I find it quite endearing that just because she is now married to a rich tycoon she is not throwing in random english words and wearing zari wali saris all the time to fit in. The society expects us to behave in a certain way if you have money, but that doesn't mean that is "right". What is more important is goodness of heart and concern for others.

Another thing is I am never able to forget that marriage is "Fake". So when others in forum say that she should not do this to her husband. I often wonder "what husband?" Truly speaking they are husband and wife in no terms be it heart, mind or body. I guess Khushi feels the same too.

And all this talk of class in today's day and age makes me sad. We might as well talk of caste system. I wonder if people would have found it less cringeworthy if you have barged in wearing a dress and said in a perfect english accent "Time for dinner, sir."

But I do agree the whole show is getting a bit OTT. Was liking the silent treatment Khushi was giving ASR. But they change the mood of the show totally in the next episode. I think they should stick to one track rather than switching from track to track suddenly. No wonder it has derailed.

What's appalling is when people defend his actions saying that's his character, he's always been like this, he is haunted by his past demons, he thinks shes betraying him...etc, no matter how cruel the action is - there is a justification and excuse given for most situations.
But when Khushi goes OTT, these same people declare she's not worthy of him, she's become insensitive etc etc.
Why is she expected to love him no matter how he treats her? In her current situation she is unaware of why he's angry and hates her...and after that hasty marriage and the subsequent incidents and his behavior, it is natural for her to want to rebel.

Despite all that her love still shines through...the way she massaged his head when that curtain fell on his head, she was worried when his voice was gone, and tomorrow I am sure she'll be scared out of her wits when he faints...
I do not like some of her antics...but I have never ever felt "she does not deserve him".

They both love each other...they both deserve each other.

Khushi is supposed to be good and Arnav bad .
Thats why as soon as Khushi is shown as OTT and cringeworthy - The TRPs dive downwards . That happened in December and happening now .
