A plea for any IPKKND creative that may be listening -
What we do not like -
1. Character break down - Khushi is not a twit head. She is a strong, open, straight forward, honest, happy-go-lucky woman. Do not portray her as an immature egghead. We do not like it. We do not like the current Khushi. Arnav is not a stone hearted person and he does not display his emotions publicly. Do not change his integrity or his private persona. We do not like men who involve their extended family into their very personal life.
2. Irrelevant comedy - It is not the time or the place for stupid comedy. Khushi and Arnav are married under strange circumstances. Khushi's objective should be to find out why. Based on her character, she should be sad but trying to figure things out. She should be trying to figure out why her laad governor changed. Arnav should start using his brain too. Did what he see on the terrace convery the entire truth. Is the Khushi he has known for a while really capable of being so devious. And Shyam should continue being evil and the three characters should move on that track. No comedy, especially mindless comedy, please.
3. Unnecessary tracks - The holi track, the I-will-irritate-Arnav track, the tiffin business track, many other tracks have nothing to do with the story. Just fillers and these are actually very annoying. You have the main theme. Focus on that. We understand you want to keep the serial alive for a long time. But lowering TRPs may force you to shut the serial sooner rather than later. Lost viewership cannot be regained. Focus on the story and the characters and you will be fine.
4. Streching the MU - None of us like the MU but we again understood it. But 2 months is a long time. Do something about clearing it up soon. There is more to this story than the MU, we do not like the streching and we want it cleared up so we can see the love story. Soon, and I mean it.
5. Lack of passion - I assumed, like many other viewers, that the marriage would bring even more intensity to the relationship. They love/hate each other, live in the same house, sleep in the same room - a wonderful setting for intensity - not rabba ve's - but controlled passion, frustration. We see none of that. We see two people behaving like friends do - we do not want khushi and Arnav to behave like 10 year old best friends who fight and argue. Please bring back the intensity.
What we like-
I guess this is clear from what we do not like, but let me spell it out anyway.
1. Khushi and Arnav and their relationship - We want to see their love story. We want to see their lives. Either together or apart. We want to see trust build. Misunderstanding cleared. We want to see their love. Their passion. The heart thuding caring. Bring it back. Keep it on track.
2. Character loyalty - All characters were well defined. Stay true to who your main characters are.
I am sure many others have more to add. Please help here, add your thoughts.
