HI Sush,

Nothing great Sush. it was tolerable yet it gave me some hope as that is all i can do at this point.

This is the kind of epiosde we should have had after Khushi first got the inkling that she had somehow hurt Arnie which resulted in this marriage. . For a girl whose life was turned up side down with a hasty marraige can think of a song and dance and bare chested Salman and Arnie is very hard to digest.

I felt Arnie's pain today. Here is a man who according to him has given so much of himself to this girl does not return his love neither does she acknowldge anything that he has done for her . Injured yet again and hiding behind his pride and anger.

I felt for Khushi who has no clue as to why she deserves such harsh words as she has does not know or understand the hurt she is causing unknowingly.

Their confrontation seemed so futile and we the audience are as frustrated as they are. Something has got to give and I am hoping on an revelation of sort s to Arnie. I really need him to start his redemption and it better be a long one.

I hated Shyam and literally cringe when he touches her. Khushi's reaction to him according to me is a big FLAW in her characterisation. Any girl however young or innocent knows when a man behaves in an icky manner. She does not stand around for a second longer than required. Why does she hang around and not react !!!! This piece has been badly done by the Cvs.

The confrontation scene Sush I think required a bit more of taunt direction. The first RV was out of place and Arnie's response to her direct queston as to Why did you marry me had a response of a politician who when asked by a reporter "Should we pass a Wall Street Reform Act " and the response is "We should get rid of ObamaCare " Totally off base.

Hanging in there by a thread. I am resigned to the fact that we will never get the first 8 months back so now it is up to me for next steps.

Agreed. The episode was packed with tension and passion. Hope the CVs continue with this way.

Hey Sush & Spice Ladies ... was meant to be in bed ages ago ... so excuse the sleepy ramblings ... Sorry Sush et al ... not feeling the joviality ... this isn't meant to be a episodic drama ... it's a serial ergo entails continuity ... an arc ... I gave them their dues during the holi week and some other random epis ... and have been waiting for my alms patiently ... but it's now going onto 3 months and I'm at my wits end watching the same rehashed scene ... I have no more generosity left. It's time the PH bucked up and delivered as promised ... a serial like no other... so forgive me if I wait to see if they follow through tomorrow or whether it's yet another about face. If it's the latter it's Ciao from me until the MU clears.

Sush - I know why the Rabba Ve worked for you - two reasons, BS and SI 😆

The Rabba ve score felt completely inappropriate to me in this instance - they've totally diluted the intensity due to gross over-use. They have some great instrumental music for brief encounters like this that should be used more often!

Hi Sush, yay it's a long weekend for us with the good Friday holiday! Plus have a kiddie birthday party to organize tomorrow so certainly looking forward to this one 😊

Ok back to Arhi land and the epi. Agree with you that today was intense. I really liked it and felt things are seriously coming to a boil now. Arnie's MU has deepened and Khushi has had more than enough of the 'I hate you and hate you for a reason but can't tell you the reason" crap. Ideally from here on they should show Khushi trying to delve into the reasons coz for Arnie there is no reason to probe. However, the CVs have so often brought things to a brink only to let it fizzle completely that I no longer trust this is going anywhere until I see it. And the way I see it they have left themselves an opening to do exactly that by having Khushi say now I won't say, talk or question anything but will do exactly as you say. Will this mean a few epis of more useless fights that take things nowhere- I passionately hope not.

I know many people have said this before but it rankles so much I had to reiterate it. The reasons Arnav does not tell Khushi what he has witnessed have not been established at all. This is the reason the MU continues to remain flimsy whatever they add to it.

The rabba ve today was fine coz today it did not feel like a rabba ve to me. I think it was there way to show the tortured feelings within both of them.

The line that stayed with me today was when Arnie said" I can't let you go Khushi". It was a statement from a tortured soul and defines what he is going through.

Let's see what today brings and hope they don't mess things up from the traction that has been built. Today felt like Saturday for a min so was glad to be reminded it's fri and we have one more epi to go. Cheers

Sush, great points - on board with much of what you said. 😊

So, I thought this was a pretty good epi for one reason and one reason only - we're back to the mudde ki baat - not water fights, dhobhi ghat, dabba service, sethi brothers... the truckload of nonsense that is too painful to relive, but you get the idea. Both protagonists locking horns, frustrated, impatient, stubborn in their tunnel vision. How far has ASR come? The girl that he dropped with nary a twinge from the first floor of his office is the one he can't bear to let go depite his belief that she is a homewrecker and a cheat. It's the pull of mohabbat. Yet, once he pulls her close he can't let her in, it's the push of nafrat. The essence of the show that we were promised...

Why then is this not a great episode, an awesome one even? A couple of reasons:

1. We've been here before and come Monday will the latest bit of comic idiocy present itself? Will we will spin into another endless cycle of stupidity?

2. The mohabbat-nafrat standoff is built on the flimsiest of circumstances, a tissue of contrivances that would be laughable if they weren't so frustrating. 😡

Khushi's strange dialog on the terrace started it and Anjali's wierd insistence on keeping mum around chotte is cementing it.

Khushi who is finally a tigress (not a retarded goof ball!) around Arnav, rolls over and plays dead around Shyam. After smartly dropping the pestle on his foot and siccing Anjali on him in the champi episode, she stands mute, helpless and complicit while he brazenly paws her in public - go figure! 😕

The kind hearted, generous Payal, who is now best buds with her sis again, knows of Shyam's villainy yet seems content to pretend that aaal izz well on that front. She and the world saw Shyam's opportunism during the holi episode. How does a sister..??? Go Figure! 😕

Shyam is now a card carrying member of IPK's band of schizos - one moment lecherous and leering at Khushi and the other aiming to convince Arnav he's turned a new leaf devoted to his wife and unborn child. What is his game?

And so it goes on and on...

Still, despite all these brain dead fabrications, all is forgiven if the creators stay the course in the coming week - galatfaimi ka khel anjaam tak khelna hoga. If necessary create more complications (I shudder as I say this coz every time I've left myself open to such options the writers have slammed me with the most egregious of contrivances!) and let things get worse before they get better... BUT, BUT, BUT let's not go into another tailspin of comedy, romance and hate that keeps us cemented to the same spot in the plot.

Tailpiece: DOA - Rabba Ve. It arrived and the angry intensity of hissing and spitting ebbed away without trace. It was the ultimate W*F Rabba Why (copyright Rag1ni). RIP Rabba Ve. It's a good thing we have a bunch of old youtube vids and awesome VM makers to fondly remember you by. Thanks for the awesome memories! If I weren't so sad, I'd try to write you a pithy epitaph and a mushy eulogy. 😭

@Jamba, I know I would much rather hear Khushi Singh Raizada than KKGSR! It was so refreshing the past few days where the judge called her Mrs Raizada and she didn't correct him by adding the Kumari Gupta, same with today's epi where Arnav referred to her as KSR. If only the CVs can keep this up

I actually didn't mind this added MU because it showed a different Arnav. It seems the trust that was being built did have an affect as Arnav was ready to hear her out instead of assuming the worst. Arnav wasn't jumping to conclusions like before, this time he repeatedly seeked the answers he should have done from the start!

@Sari, given how po'd Khushi is right now, she is not in the right frame of mind to be thinking logically here. For Khushi all that is known is that she is reaching her limit, she is tired of the acting, the lack of answers, his you are sometimes my wife and sometimes not. Khushi is reaching the end of her rope.

Arnav same thing, all logic has gone out of the window and like Khushi emotions are clouding his judgment.

I love the fact Mami was able to leave that competition with her head held high, she didn't have to leave embarrassed like before. Mami got her moment 👏

@Sush and Savy, you're in the minority bout the Rabba Ves. The first one I just couldn't connect with but the second I liked. The instrumental version fitted the scene

@Shastradhari, we haven't seen Bua back since Holi which is unfortunate as I would love to see her say in Khushi living under the same roof with Shyam. Bua must know how dangerous he is.

@sush haha good point he wants an explanation simply because may be he was wrong 😳 in judging her. i so agree that the point when he has gone softer due to clearing payal stuff knows kushi had a reason to deny the prize, he sees her with shyam 😡 oh what a situation.

i did not like the epi initial part because yet again whole song/dance/payal , prize all was illogical to the core. if they made payal loose then why will they agree later that too in front of everybody 🤔

about hiding i so agree with you i have seen people do it .

i like the later part though because how muchever he hates her for ruining his sisters life she is the one who loves her. no wonder he sends her conflicting signals 😆
i felt it to be a typical IPK epi so not a great one
