So I just watched the episode, and I'm not angry... I'm just fed up. I'm not complaining here. I've loved the last few episodes because they're weren't ridiculously stupid. However, this episode just made me feel so fed up. When the stupid episodes were around after Holi, I was mad beyond words. After one gets that mad, they become fed up.
Points of concern:
1. I hated the Shyam scene. Why the Hell is Khushi so helpless in getting someone else's hand off of her arm? Why is she looking around? Why are the people in the room so clueless? I mean I wouldn't have minded the scene if it wasn't so long! It was probably more than a few minutes of just helpless staring (although Abhaas does a great job at the evil look). I kinda get it after the first 5 minutes...if nothing is going to transpire beyond the stupid looks can we move on please?
2. I loved the tension! It was great and some of the responses were amazing...however, the stupid and useless Rabba Ve. Touching one's arm to save them from falling off the stairs and possibly breaking something does not a Rabba Ve make. I mean I would save the mean girl at school if she was falling off the stairs... it's called human nature. Does that mean Rabba Ve should be playing in the background? No, I think not. Plus, the Rabba Ve was so long!!! It wastes so much time and there is no emotion beyond the Rabba Ve. The scene, the characters, and the situation do not match a Rabba Ve scene so everything just looks so discombobulated and weird... Don't overuse the Rabba Ve please because then it looses it's magic.
3. CAN WE PLEASE HAVE SOME PROGRESS!?!? Alright, I loved the dialogue today but everything pretty much went down the drain with the Rabba Ve...like always. When it looks like there might be some progress, the CVs release the Rabba Ve...and the fall...and the lurch...into his arms...and the staring...to completely chew up and spit out any progress or drama that was created so beautifully beforehand. CVs, you're killing your own work with these "romantic" scenes. I'm not saying that the truth should have been revealed today but seeds of doubt or clues need to planted into someone's mind (depending on which track to revelation the CVs want to take). There have been other dramas and other shows... learn how to reveal drama slowly from them please. There have been some seeds but no thought process for Khushi or Arnav. It comes and just like that, it's gone only to be replaced with stupid Saas Bahu drama over onions. Really? Uff... I can't handle this anymore.
Please, guys, don't think of me as a *you know what.* I love this show but it's seriously going down the tube. I know some argue that TRPs show nothing, but they do reveal a lot. People are losing interest and the CVs need to wake up and smell the coffee (not reveal everything all together...but give us some progression). I was an avid fan when I first started watching a few months ago. Never missed an episode or a topic on the IF forums. The last few weeks, I literally didn't watch 6 of the episodes...if not more. Sad thing is, I didn't care that I missed it. I'm on Spring Break so I got back into the show and was pleasantly surprised...but today everything came crashing down. My sister who was also an avid fan stopped watching all together in addition to my mom. They ask "So what happened in today's episode" and I say "Nothing." and they reply "Yeah, we could have guessed"
Sorry, for the long post. Just a little upset since I was really excited after Arshad Khan's interview that promised progress yet nothing is happening.
