I have been a silent reader on this forum but this time I felt the need to write.

IMO: I think Khushi is at fault, She should have never have left herself vulnerable to this kind of harassment.
The 1st time that Shyam went and harrassed her she should have come out and told somebody.
If not her husband then her sister or mother.
I love my family and in -laws, and can do anything for them but not at the expense of my self respect.
Who is she making the sacrifice for , her "sister in law" excuse me if Anjali is even half a women then she would not appreciate this at the expense of khushi's respect.
Give it up women, I know you don't trust your husband but atleast you trust your sister, tell her.
If this guy has the guts to hold your hand in public with your husband standing behind you then he has the guts to do anything when noone is around.

If it had been me in her position, he would have got a tight and resounding slap the 1st time he touched me without my consent.

I can understand if something like this happens to a women who does not have any support, but you for crying out loud have a huge family and can go to.

I don't understand the kind of message these serials give out to society.

Make the women so docile, please women now a days can fight any battle.

Please give it up for the self sacrificing idiot, Ms. Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada.

So true, I can understand a timid naive girl doing this, but khushi is anything but timid and naive...atleast not when it comes to Arnav...

she should have slapped shyam the first time when he hugged her on the terrace...but now, when even after giving him enough chances if he is doing the same, its high time she takes some action on her own, if not with the help of her husband.

Such a reaction is understandable and numerous forum members have vented in similar fashion on this topic.
However, one must keep in mind that Khushi's personality is that of a 'people-pleaser'.
That includes all people; be it her sister, her family, or Shookla (the canteen guy) and so on.

In addition, she has the insecurity of losing her parents at a very early age and childhood insecurities are usually rooted deep. Couple that with her people-pleasing nature, and her actions and reactions are predictable.
She will always try not to upset the cart and will go to ridiculous lengths to keep the status quo intact... unfortunately sometimes at the expense of her own personal safety.

Sigh.

That is Khushi.

I can actually think of several women, in my own family, who will not say or do something which in my opinion is justifiable, just to maintain family peace.

Just a look from the other side,
Jayne

I totally agree with you here.

I really do not see the point that she is all angry with Arnav , but silently bears Shyam abusing her in any way he pleases.

This is so uncharacteristic of Khushi! and I am not liking it one bit!

She is only tigress in front of Arnav, otherwise her character has become like any other bechari abla naari!

I am sorry to say that my interest in the show is slowly dwindling away... I am not bashing any character here - have loved the show so far, but it is high time that Khushi puts Shyam in his place rather than wasting time yelling at Arnav!!

Arnav has received a lot of bashing that he did not trust Khushi enough! But Khushi is doing the same thing - she has seen Arnav protecting her before inspite of everything - but still she does not tell him about Shyam - she can atleast tell him that jeejaji is misbehaving with her! But no! she silently bears it all - no wonder Shyam is becoming bolder day by day.

My two cents worth!
