Today's sequences and my rantings... 😳

Khushi is made to go to the stage alone yet again today.. As she stands and tries to make the best out of it, the crowd teases and taunts her.. She tries a bit initially to keep up her act, but finally gives up.. Naniji asks Arnav to join the stage.. He refuses and asks Naniji to go on the stage and apologize.. But Naniji pulls out 'family angle' and convinces Arnav to take the stage with Khushi as Ranjha... Arnav joins Khushi on the stage.. With Rabbe Ve in the background, Khushi is surprised to see Arnav join on the stage.. and addresses him as Arnavji.. Arnav corrects her that he in Ranjha.. and explains how Naniji made him enact it.. Khushi's confidence is back as Arnav joins her on stage... As Arnav admits he knows not what to do - she calmly understands, and as he keeps calling her as Khushi - she changes it to Heer - She takes reins of control.. As the audience ask them to start their love story - Khushi explains - Looking at Arnav - answer to his question on not knowing Ranjha's lines - When two lovers meet - - just the eyes talk at each other - there is no room for words... a fact that she knows and he knows.. Arnav and Khushi's love story explained.. as the title track plays in the background.. She tells him to follow her lead and complete the act...

On Khushi -

This is the 3rd time, Khushi is on the stage alone.. (Fashion show, teri-meri and now today..) Each time, it started a new journey for her.. The first time - the kid in her was made to mature to face the demands of life... The second time - she embarked on the sweet journey of love.. and yet again today she stands.. alone.. - what journey is she going to take...

But the journey also has changed her.. The first time around - she knew not what to do.. the second time around - she knew what would happen - the humiliation but silently accepted her.. but this time around - she started surviving it.. - her survival skills came up.. She tried a bit - but then again almost gave up for her knight in shining armor to come to her rescue.. And when Arnav admits he knows not what to do - she calmly takes the lead and asks him to follow..

On Arnav -

For him taking the stage is not new... The first time around - his life was in control - he was pulling the strings - in the world where heads ruled and there were no hearts.. The second time around - his heart was ruling him - he followed his heart - But on this third time - his heart clammed up - his head confused - he having to enact a man who had killed himself - not wanting to live without his love - admits with all his ego to Khushi - he knows not what to do now and when she explains in sweet words what love is all about and what needs to be done - he calmly accepts and agrees to follow her lead...

Khushi continues her act as Heer.. Arnav watches.. He watches her as Khushi and not as Heer.. her sweet words of love mesmerizing him - he wants to lose himself in the magic of her love - wanting to believe in her love, his heart.. - me thinks..

Heer's announcement of marriage to her love in all happiness - brings sadness in Arnav's face - did he think of Khushi - the way she got married - the way it should not have been -

As Khushi continues her act of Heer, she eats the poisonous sweet and declares - even poison would be sweet today for her.. Enthralled in her act, charmed by her words of love, Arnav interrupts Khushi and asks her when he should join her.. Khushi reminds him with a bit of sarcasm - the moment is going to come - when Heer (Khushi) would die - the happiest moment for Arnav - she taunts..

As Khushi pretends to die, calling for Ranjha - Arnav as Ranjha comes in.. calling for Heer.. asking her to open her eyes - Says -Ranjha is nothing without Heer..

The sweet words of love brings a tear in Khushi - ASR who claimed her tears will not make him weak - could'nt take the tear in the stage-act - quickly wipes her tears -

Her tears bring the confession in his heart - The Arnav Singh Raizada who knows not another love story - who does'nt believe in love - the stone hearted man - who does'nt not believe in the heart - knows only one and only one love story - his own - his painful and hurtful love story - of his heart and what followed today was his heartwrenching confession...

He speaks his heart - he tells her - that he left her and tried to pretend that she did'nt mean a thing to him.. but realized - he can't live without her.. Whatever bad was done, or said - asks her to forget it and just come back.. Nothing else matters at his moment - it is not the moment to test the truth or falsity - there is only one thing that matter - If she is not there - then he does'nt exist as well.. - he quotes Heer and reminds her of how he can't exist without Heer - and yet again spills another pearl - ASR to Khushi - If she is'nt there - there is no meaning in him living.. (Rabba ve in the background..)

The words from ASR to Khushi (Rabba Ve in the background..) - If she isn't there - there is no meaning in him living - Khushi closing her eyes - expressing her emotions - her heart overwhelming in love at his confession - She knows that moment - it was ASR confessing - not Ranjha -

and the bitter ASR continues - though he believes this world does'nt have space for his love - there is definitely a place where the soulful lovers can stay united - never seperated... (Heartwrenching indeed..) and as Rabbe Ve continues - he takes the poisonous sweet from her and eats it - the only part of the story he knows as Ranjha..

And after eating - ASR continues - not Ranjha - His hurtful words don't mean anything.. His hurtful actions don't mean anything.. There is no right or wrong in love... The only thing that is true is that - 'hamesha tumse' and stops short... And as he closes his eyes - she opens hers...

His heartwrenching confession - awakens her.. she opens her eyes - her love.. (Picture perfect moment..)- opens yet another layer of ASR to her - sees him, his love.. It was an awakening indeed for Khushi... This complex man is laying out himself in front of her - piece a day - She has the daunting task of putting it all together - understanding him and return his love.. - which he breathes for - but would never ask.. -

She closes her eyes to continue her act..

As the audience cheers as their act comes to completion.. They now open their eyes together - She seeing him in a completely different light.. He is in his vulnerable self.. helps her get up.. take a bow... and Khushi impatient to know what he wanted to say.. what he did'nt complete - his words the most important for her - and Arnav gets his reality mask - is awakened from the dream land - where he almost confessed it all - ASR back - walks away...

Anjali comes to congradulation Naniji on her act and how she brought Arnav and Khushi as Heer Ranjha..

Anjali's words were interesting - Naniji made Arnav Khushi's Ranjha..

Arnav-Khushi dressing room sequence:

While Arnav dresses up - he looks at her earing and holds it and gazes at it... Khushi walks in and takes it from him.. - after telling him - he can't just walk away without answering.. Cajoles him to talk to her - and asks her to explain what he said in the stage - Repeats his words - Take no meaning from the hurtful actions or words -nothing right or wrong in love - but only one thing is true and with meaning - that he 'hamesha tumse..' - asks him to complete it .. Arnav immediately covers it up saying it was Ranjha's lines.. and she defies him - knowing for sure it was Arnav Singh Raizada's lines and not Ranjha's.. His mask and act up now - Arnav insists that it was just an act - asks her not to believe what she sees - everything was done for his family's sake - and Khushi for the first time - 'understood it all' - dismisses him - Yes indeed - asks him to leave.. with a taunt - as usual... As Arnav leaves, Khushi throws her earing.. her first sign of frustration - her actions guided by her love.. by her emotions..

The earring - their love - after the Didi-tera performance - he opened her hand (heart) and gave it to her, yesterday held it up and she picked it up and today after his almost confession - she takes it from him.. (Beautiful transition... )

Her silence brought Arnav's confession as Ranjha.. His confession awakened her eyes.. as Khushi..

Her process of understanding this complicated man has started.. And her love is guiding all her actions.. - as she will taunt and cajole him to accept his feelings of love..

Their journey continues

Today's was a brilliant episode.. Hats off to BS & SI to pull it off - so beautifully... ⭐️

Shubha, loved reading your take as usual. I thought the first 5 minutes could easily be fast forwarded till Khushi came on stage and then the ball started rolling. The CV's did a great job of with the Heer Ranjha storyline. I was very skeptical when I heard it last week but how well they weaved it!

They are laying all the ground work for another confrontation between the two and Khushi is not going to let it go easily this time.

There was a scene when amidst of the applause Khushi asks him 'Kuch keh rehe the aap..', and Arnav leans over to hear her better still holding hands. To me it was such a nice scene where they looked like any other couple without the MU and one was reaching out for the other. He as expected then does withdraw back once he hears the full question.

Barun was brilliant in the Ranjha part and Sanaya was explosive in the last scene.

Very nice indeed. Its very evident that Khushi has had it all. She doesn't want him to stall that thing any more. In her POV now both are ready and should take it to next level. For Arnav there is this baggage heavily weighing on him. It has to be cleared for rest of the things to take place.

@Sri: I liked that scene.. For me the scene that stood out of was him closing his eyes, which she watches him...

@Sandy: Agreed - she needs the love confession to work on the MU, whereas, for him MU is all in his mind - that love ought not to be confessed...

Loved how you have explained their journey through their 3 times on stage and the exchange of earrings since teri-meri to today👏👏.
I loved the Heer-Ranjha act. I loved how the emotions and dialogues blurred between Ranjha and Arnav's own feelings, the tear drop from Khushi's eyes that he gently wipes off, the FARAK NAHI PADTA was killer, plus how he says that his harsh words and actions do not matter coz he has always always...Loved the scene where she opens her eyes and sees him with his eyes closed, as if she was trying to absorb what this complex man was saying to her.
Performance wise i thought Sarun were brilliant in the last scene. It was beautifully envisioned and enacted. Dialogues were great too today.
What do you make of the precap? I'll hold my judgement till i watch the entire scene.
I like how the CV's are slowly weaving the title track into the scenes and how Khushi is slowly picking up on his nuances, words, actions and really trying to understand him.
I'm hoping for a big confrontation, till one of them cracks and spills some beans.

I am in the same boat as you.. I would like to hold my judgement - till the complete scene comes out.. Somehow I think she is trying to disqualify both of them so that Payal-Mamiji will win..

And did this use the word 'dhokabaas' on their act together and not on him.. me thinks..

U know the irony of todays episode?
As Heer, Khushi says... When the loved one is in front of you, you dont need words, your eyes speak! However, Khushi wants to hear Arnav confess his love to her... Literally in Words! How Ironic!
Arnav in the green room says to Khushi: "don't believe everything you see". However he did believe what he saw on the terrace against his better judgment. How Ironic!
I have a feeling that precap is misguided. I think Khushi is doing the trash talk to benefit Mami and Payal. Arnav may not know that and might get hurt. We will see...
I thought about this a lot and the only thing I hate about Arnav's character is not finishing his lines... Whyyy? According to my husband, its guy thing!

Anyways, loved your takes on the irony's.. Very interesting points you have raised.. Both are equal partners, aren't they..

I like your take on the precap.. I was also thinking that Khushi is going to somehow disqualify herself from the comp.. so that Payal and Mamiji will win.. I don't know what Khushi is going to say tomorrow.. - but today - Arnav made a statement - that there is nothing right or wrong in love.. Profound ... So will wait and see...
