She could have flatly refused to do so, Asr would have left no choice but give the traffic inspector his licence, as taking Khushi to the thana would have been humiliating his family name.

Arre yaar - I thought she got it but I do not understand the need to hear 'I Love you' - he has said everything and was so evident that it was for her. A guy who did not know any dialogues and asks her to help him - suddenly devdaas kaise ban jayega!? ;P
