so while i shut my eyes and ears when chikni chameli were playing and during the whole i will bond with mami moment...

what you pointed out did make me sit up :)

the mild earnestness with which he hears the story, and his reaction during the end...its a slow process of self realization...what is his life without her...in love or hate...shes right next to him...and he does cringe when she isnt around...

i loved the fact that he said "practice"...the extreme contrast between these two is hinted thru stuff like this (i will just ignore dhobi in pool etc, cos my mind has blocked those things out)...it almost reminds me of when they were plotting to get payash together, and this man had the most practical ideas...unromantic yes...but very practical...

even during new years...his advice to akash is go walk up to her door, what else do you want man :P

so when nani pushes him out tomo with him not knowing the lines, or him not having to practiced enough...its going to take a look at her face that will get him into character...

hugs my alter ego...i love your post...and this time i give a huge shout out to the writers tooo (normally i throw chappals) ...but this time...WOOT

my only peeve is dont make him a soppy lover who wanders around aimlessly...that would not be ASR...

Well said Sinnie...love is indeed about wanting to be with the loved one when you are without them but also most importantly when you are also together...wanting is the operative word.

Arnav embodies this definition of love...he wants to be with her...even when he knows that he wants to..no, needs to hate her, even when he thinks that she is the proverbial poison in his beloved sister's mithaii . Yet he cannot help himself and loves her against his won better judgement ( a la Darcy).

Yes good writing is the key to good drama. Kudos to Gul and Nissar for conceiving these polar opposite characters. And intermittent kudos to GH and Janaki V for intermittently giving us mind blowing scenes.

But I know from very recent experience that good writing is nothing if the medium of delivery to the audience doesn't make a good pairing with them.

In that sense Barun and Sanaya make a marriage made in heaven with the writers.

we were discussing that.. the most unromantic of men make the best lovers ;-) cause they don't even know what is romance so they just do every little thing (in their own way) that adds to a multitude of things..

so, while everyone was busy throwing mud idhar aur udhar; lalee proposed we took hotwa and ran away.. *glee*

tumse yeh kisne keh diya ki jus cause i shout; you shout?!? sar pe chad gayya toh? so; shut up! i have like 5.6% confidence they won't mellow down babua too much..

its going to take a look at her face that will get him into character...

And me too have hopes on this heer-ranjha act.. Heer-Ranjha dies on their marriage day, metamorphic ally Arnav-Kushi love died on marriage day as well.. I hope while enacting HR, they do indirect confession to each other and the best thing about this they are not in bhang🤪 , even after this they forget what they spoke then screw u CVs

me thinks Arnav will make a great lover; if he is given the opportunity to (ducks to avoid tomatoes).. we all know what Khushi is capable of.. love, sacrifice and ability to give... for those who don't know there exists an Arnav for every ASR.. anticipate that! (if the CVs are gracious enough) that again is another day; another discussion..(read Pjeeb 😆)..
