There are inconsistencies and there are glitches; but there are class rated moments and i had one with them yesterday. The writing is indeed 'tight'. And i am prepared to overlook the rest of the bloopers; cause it isin't exactly the easiest thing on earth to write 22 mins of daily show for 5 days a week and that too without displaying any progress so as to drag the track! š
I loved the Heer-Ranjha moment about yesterday! Khushi talks about what a tragic ending the two estranged lovers had on their D-Day. One gets poisoned and dies and the other follows suit; just so she can't live without the other. How really tragic!
It re-inforces the most famous answer we get to 'what is love?' Love is not about the moments you enjoy being with your dear ones; but about those moments you cringe while being without them!
So isin't it justified that the other one just gives their life away when it is not worth a penny without the other? (fairy tale deja vu? š)
Not sure about that tragic story; but here are witness to a love story; if not great. The One between a guy who thinks love stories need to be practiced to perfection and the girl who narrates a whole love story just like that. (and that with the famous use of mirrors in IPK.) whose true story; ironically started on the day of their marriage.
Every daily show has a great moment and an even greater TRP with the 'big' twists they have. So; the devil of detail lies in the fillers! When you can deliver most fillers with an eye-catching moment (trust me; one moment is enough to cover up the rest), the highs outclass the lows. and there you have a 'hit'! Din't someone say this show was all about symbolism? š
I am not taking anything away from The lead actors; but the show is indeed written well that they just have to adapt and there we have flawless chemistry! (can't seem to get Sobti's lines outta my head - *head desk*); That is the method to their madness!
