I just had a sudden epiphany… this current avatar of ASR is the very antithesis and a total anathema to the beliefs of the original ASR… A total down market middle classish bourgeoisie desi boy…. Oh how the might have fallen!🤣

They have given a whole new meaning to the word "tycoon" - it's the average aam aadmi who has a bathroom that resembles the public toilets by the roadside and 3 suits in which he sets out to conquer the world and his love.

@arhi_4ever agree, Barun is so talented.. Just his delivery and body Language is enough ... I hate it when they take away the sweetness and mystery
Funny thing is I have no problem with the episodes just that they are jerky and stand alone - barring a few which are plain nonsensical

The sad thing is this current rubbish seems to strike a chord among this new generation of viewers judging from the amount of gushing and gasping. I dont recall dresses/ jewellery and stuff being discussed this much in depth before or posted on FB like that

Alas all good things must come to an end so I think given a couple of months even Sarun will not be sufficient prospect enough for me to keep watching nonsense in the name of entertainment and soon it will hasta la vista.

Yes I know, tell me about it... The essence of a show is a strong storyline and a sense of direction of where we are headed. I really dont know where that is for IPK. They don't have a core story and are just trying to stretch the show with comedy.

If they stretched it with meaningful sub plots such as Arnav and Anjali's past, some glimpses of Khushi and Arnav's past is connected, some back story about Garima being Shashi's second wife, Mami being a maid before marriage.. It would be just brilliant.. They just need to open their eyes to the endless plots they have at hand...

Instead of showing us senseless comedy and the lead actress going gaga... Khushi was never like that. She was a sensible 18 year old who liked to have fun... Arnav was a business tycoon who lost control of his destiny when he met Khushi... Oh alas, I said the words...

Rita, its like they work on blocks instead of weaving the entire story so we see Holi block was good, honeymoon block was good and voice gone was good but in between, hotch potch!!!

Let's see Heer Ranjha block now after which KKGSR will lose it again!!! 😭
