@ Sathya, loved your analysis dear. Was waiting to see how you read it after reading so many posts in favor and against the mindless OTT comedy.
Have to say, I too was initially in the not too happy camp, but having read a few insightful posts like yours, I am having to revisit my initial reaction.
I particularly loved these lines of yours, they really happened to be the best moment in the episode for me too for exactly the reasons you have cited.
The second Instance was when he speaks to his uncomprehending PA , He turns and looks down where Khushi is waiting silently & openly seeking her help , Gazelle footed she immediately climbs the stairs reaches his position and helps him...An augury that Khushi might reach the same level of success perhaps but what struck me most was for the first time in the entire show, Arnav voluntarily and without feeling inferior openly sought Khushi's help..A monumental achievement for he was a man who prided on his ability to take care of everything himself, who did take care of everything himself , who hated weakness , who would not expose his chinks but there he was doing all the things he abhors why bec his inner self has accepted her ,loves her and he is not ashamed to show his weakness to her cuz he knows that she is strong enuf for both of them..
Arnav has come a long way indeed in accepting Khushi wholeheartedly as his wife. He had put his staff in place the other day by pointing her status and demanding she be addressed as Ma'am. Today too, he instantly put Shuklaji in his place. It matters a lot to him how people address his wife, shows such a possessive streak in him about her. 😆
But more than that, his dependence and the acceptance of that dependence on Khushi was indeed huge. Loved, loved that little scene.
The other scene that was noteworthy was Shyam getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar. His brazenness at blurting out the truth to Anji and then trying to cover it up as a joke is certainly showing his growing cockiness which is sure to tighten the noose around his neck. Loved to see for once Anji not buying his glib lie of it being a joke. The seeds of doubts have certainly started to sprout in her mind...
As you said loved the last part of the episode. Those were indeed 4 gems that soothed the agitated mind watching the OTT nautanki of Khushi.
Khushi's OTT antics in explaining the growth of the company certainly drove me nuts, but as we saw later, it had a purpose. I too loved the way Aakash told her, I should had known, "You always have a reason behind everything you do", hoping to see Arnav's brain working in that direction too and try digging deeper behind Khushi's motive when she told the creep, "Why don't you leave Anjali, if you are so unhappy with her?". Why did she say that to him?? Also, loved to hear Khushi's quick rejoinder to Aakash, "Not everything I do has a purpose, somethings I do, are just for fun." It conveyed a beautiful meaning in my mind, that Khushi does not take life so seriously, she knows when to work and when to have fun too. Arnav needs to learn this trait from her, there's more to life than just work, power & money. Life is too short, to be taken seriously all the time, enjoy it while you can. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. 😉
Of course the main thing that was conveyed in today's episode was without a doubt about honesty. Honest people look you in the eye and talk. ASR got first hand experience & lecture of that from his teacher of life. 😃 In all these days he has known Khushi, she has never looked anywhere but straight into his eye and spoken. How can he now doubt her integrity? She has questioned him before about why he thinks she has hurt him?? If she had even a shade of dishonesty in her, would she have point-blank asked him that?? If Arnav doesn't know how to read people, I am hoping after today's lecture from Khushi, that point has been driven home. He needs to now cross-check and arrive at the truth. I am hoping that's what we get to see next week after a week-full of light hearted episodes loaded with deeper meaning. 😃
And lastly, the "Galti kisise bhi ho sakti hai, aap se bhi". Does this mean she will forgive him quite easily as he had committed a galti in thinking she would cheat on Anji & him?? This also reminded me of the kanya puja day when she had taught him to forgive the kids who had broken his model. Will Khushi be again asking his forgiveness in keeping him in the dark about Shyam when the truth comes out??
P.S. Btw, this was the first time I saw a company's conference room equipped with such a low table surrounded by bar stools. What's up with that?? New decor of conference rooms??? Granted the PH is fukkad but I am sure they could rent a little furniture to make it look real. Btw, I remember seeing a much better equipped conference room earlier when Khushi had walked in while ASR was giving a presentation when she had gone to placate him to request La to stay back and not leave...
