I can't understand this about any man real or reel, dark or illumined, black or white.
How the hell can one hurt a woman physcially? I know it happens in real but we know such men are mean. Not ASR. So why the hell do they show this. Isn't verbal assault enough?
Just hate physical abuse every time they show it in IPKKND. Each and every time.
I want to add that pushing and shoving and grabbing is also abuse. We hae come to accept it as acceptable ASR behavior. But mind you it is not. Many many accidents are caused by pushing and shoving. Don't want to bring in real life parellels. But that's the fact.

He did the thing he has been doing since the start of the show...nothing new today. Of course that doesnt make it right but if we havent labelled it as physical abuse till now, why today?

And if you're talking about the door thing, he didnt do it on purpose.

I guess because that is ASR😆

He vents out his anger and frustration like that only. He doesn't mind abusing her physically 'coz for him, she is a criminal.

He is supposedly the antithesis..yeh ...so the roughing up...but I hear ya she does not need to put up with the crap more imp we should not have to...(tho still to see 2days epi)
but about the is the verbal not enough...
sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me ...does not hold true...there is a indian saying that a burn by fire will heal with time but scar of words will always stay...
when this charactor is romanticisied dispite all he has done...then what is a lil push or shove is thier pov i think...

He's been doing it right from the beginning but today he didn't do it intentionally! The door banging on her hand that is...
but grabbing her..he does in almost every episode!

Whether on purpose or not on purpose, the CVs are showing it. In society, no one should condone such things. Yes, I know it was an accident and my husband has accidently hurt me a few times-which I know is not on purpose but it was not coupled with fighting/arguing. I have not seen the episode but the basic jist is that they are arguing and he pushes her causing her to bruise. If I was arguing with my husband and he pushed me causing me to get a bruise, I would label it as abuse. There is nothing right in that. And as human, we should not condone it just because it was not on purpose.
What the CVs need to keep in mind, is that what they are showing is across the world and is reaching many impressionable minds. I have a daughter and I dont want her to watch these shows and think it is ok if a guy hurts her and because it wasn't done "on purpose" it is ok. It will lead to phyical abuse in a relationship. As women, we need to stand up against atrocities like these.
I love the show and I love the characters, but the continued sick portray of phyical hurt being caused to Khushie at Arnav's hands is plain old wrong!
