Hello Dear Friends this is my very first OS which I'm writing on any forum I have never ever attempted anything like this before.. So please don't be very harsh on me.. I have decided to write a comical yet romantic OS on persisting situation of Khushi's catering business.. First part is quite dull but I'm still experimenting and if I get more readers and likes then I'll continue this OS or else will stop it with the first part itself.. Believe me it will be very entertaining in future.. So please do appreciate my efforts so that I can proceed further. Thank You.

It's a Funny Business

Part-1

It has been more than a month since the big argument took place between Arnav and Khushi regarding her catering business.. That day Arnav was fuming with anger when he came back home and he rushed upstairs towards his room.. Took almost two steps at a time and busted through the door resulting into the loose hinges of the door, and what he saw next took his anger to a whole new level. His room and bed was scattered with papers and once a very spic and span room looked like it has been hit by a tornado named- "Khushi", Arnav shouted at the top of his voice but Khushi was busy with her newly bought bluetooth headset attached to her ears pacing here and there on the bed and busy giving instructions to her newly appointed employee Shuklaji, and even after repeating her name two-three times she still continued to ignore Arnav and continued with her business talk. Which made Arnav fume in anger, he lost his cool and yanked the headset from Khushi's ears.

Khushi: "What is this Arnavji?? Can't you see I was in middle of the important talk discussing my future business plan"

Arnav: "WTH Khushi Kumari Gupta!!!"

Khushi: "Singh Raizada"

Arnav: "SHUT UP!!!" Khushi got a bit scared and taken aback by seeing Arnav so livid with anger. "Just what the hell are you up to Khushi??"

Khushi: "Nothing Arnavji, I'm just trying to do some work so that I can earn money"

Arnav: "Just what is the need for you to do the job, when I'm there to do it for you??? If you need something just ask me why play this cheap games?? Just what are you trying to prove??"

Khushi: "Excuse me Mr. Raizada but you will not be there for me always. Remember ours' is a six months marriage and after that I'm free to leave you and this house, moreover I'm doing this for my financial security and self-dependence b'cos I don't like to keep running to you for all my financial needs, B'cos you keep account of every small amount given by you as loan and you will go to any extend to regain it. You said so yourself on the dining table this morning and I don't want to be your debenture for life"

Arnav: "I see !! I very well know what you are trying to do here, you are trying to ruin my reputation and jeopardize my status my doing this cheap "Dhabba" business in my office"

Khushi: "Excuse me Arnavji!!! Will you care to explain that how exactly does my "Dhabba" business is ruining your reputation and status?? Am I swindling someone and making money in wrong way?? NO!!! In fact I'm doing a celestial job of providing everyone tasty "Ghar ka Khana" at a very reasonable price. "

Arnav: "I nvr asked you to repay the money and neither I lended it to you as a loan. Now stop this nonsense right now and in future ask me anything you need and I'll provide you. You need not do this odd jobs to earn money. Do you get that??"

Khushi: "So that you can again insult me and call me a gold digger and can have a field day by having a go at my "Aukad" and "Niyat" and taunt me by saying that how I "Phasaoed" and "Pataoed" a rich man like you and now enjoying a luxurious life with your money. No thank you!!"

Arnav: "Khushi I'm asking you for the last time will you put an end to this nonsense or not??"

Khushi: "No!!! I will not do any such thing and do remember if this time you try to blackmail me into doing something which I don't want to by using my 'Jiji' as weapon then I'll also open my mouth in front of everyone and will tell them the reason behind our hurried marriage decision. So think twice before you try to do something to my Jiji and remember this time I'll not take things sitting down as I did earlier Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada"

Arnav: "How dare you challenge me!! Don't ever think for a second that you can blackmail me and make me listen to your nonsense"

Khushi: "Listen Mr. Raizada, I'm not telling you to listen to my nonsense and neither am I blackmailing you b'cos its your job not mine.. Taking advantage of other's weakness I'm just trying to protect my Jiji's marriage and my self-respect. So now if you will excuse me I have many more things to do other than chit-chatting with you.. It was not so pleasure talking to you.. But anyway will see you later"

Anav: "KHUSHI!!! I'm not finished with..." But Khushi already exited from the room. Arnav decided to go behind her , bring her back to the room and give her a piece of mind or two.. While Arnav was going after Khushi he happened to cross Anjali's room in hurry when suddenly hearing Khushi's name from that creepy Shyam's mouth made him froze midway and listen to the whole conversation . Shyam and Anjali's back was towards him so they did not knew that Arnav was standing behind them at the door.

Shyam: "But Rani Sahiba what is the need for Khushiji to do this catering business, She will be busy running from one place to another and will hardly get time time to be at home. How am I suppose to manage without her"

Anjali: "What!! What do you mean by you can't manage without her" Shyam fumbles and tries to save his skin by giving a convincing explanation as he is the expert in this field.

Shyam: "I mean, who will take care of you in your pregnancy period?? You always need someone to look after you and your every need. So I thought I'll give your whole responsibility to Khushiji till the birth of our little Angel, as Khushiji and your bonding is so spl. And she being your sis-in-law and your Chote's wife it is also her duty to take care of you in your pregnancy period"

Anjali: "Arey aap bhi na!! 'Bekaar mein meri itni chinta karte hai' Khushiji is a small girl what would she know that how to take care of a pregnant woman.. Moreover there is Naniji, Mamiji who are much more experienced than Khushiji and there is also Payalji who never lets me do any household work, I don't see any problem with Khushiji working outside the house"

Shyam: "But Rani Shabia what will Salle Saab say?? I'm sure he will never agree with Khushiji supplying food in his own office"

Anjali: "Arey what problem can Chote have in this.. I'm sure Chote will be ecstatic with this decision as they will get more time to spend with each other not only at home but in the office too.. I think the two love birds will be just fine , and this catering thing is just a alibi of Khushiji to be near Chote 24/7"

Shyam: "That is what I'm afraid of"

Anjali: "Matlab??"

Shyam: "Matlab yeh ki too much sweet is not good for Salle Saab's health likewise too much love and being with Khushiji 24/7 can be a distraction for him and moreover every relationship should have some space or else the person starts feeling suffocated. That is why I used to be away from town for so many days. So that when I return we both will carve for each other's company and the distance makes love grow more.. You know what I mean??!!"

Anjali: "Aacha ji!! (laughs).. Now I know the reason of your absence for longer periods.. But don't worry that's not the case with Chote and Khushiji they are way too intelligent and Chote knows when to give priority to his business and when to take time out for his family.. He can manage both very well without any difficulty and sometimes some alone time is also needed in marriage for the relationship to blossom or else, lack to time for each other and too much of distance can make us frustrated and lose our faith in relationships.. 'Shamje Shyam Manohar Jhaji' So you too change your philosophy and start spending more time with me"

Shyam: "Arey Rani Sahiba agar aap kahe toh main toh office jaana hi chod doon aur din raat aapki seva mein bita do"

Anjali "Aacha ji" laughs out loud and hugs Shyam. Shyam hugs Anjali and makes a weird constipated face by seeing his efforts getting wasted once again and his daily quota of enjoying Khushiji's beauty going down the drain.. Arnav who has been silent listener of the whole conversation suddenly realized that there is nothing wrong with Khushi's catering business in fact it will be a win-win situation for him. Khushi will be away from Shyam but close to him, he need not take much effort to keep Shyam away from Khushi , and as they say 'Out of sight, out of mind" will make Shyam concentrate more on Di and his child and less on Khushi. Suddenly Arnav was very Happy about Khushi's 'Dhaba Business' he ran to search for Khushi and get hold of her but this time to give her some fresh ideas about developing her business further and attaining more orders which will make her even more busy and less available for Shyam's creepy lusty eyes.

Even after working for more than a month Khushi still can't believe that Arnavji was actually ok with her 'Dhaba Business' the way he created such scene over the whole issue and his B.P shooting up the roof top she was sure that Arnavji would try every trick in his book to stop Khushi from doing the business and will make plans to foil her business and will try to bring her down.. But then suddenly that day Arnavji came to her and said

Arnav: "Khushi"

Khushi: "Arnavji if you are here to discourage me from doing this business than I'm sorry I don't have any time to waste on this dead topic as I'm not gonna bow down to you this time"

Arnav: "Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada sometimes its good to seal your mouth and open your ears and listen to what others have to say.. Listen Khushi I'm here to tell you that I have no problem with your catering business. You can continue your business without any fear and don't worry I'll not try to harm you or your business and rest assured Payal and Akash's relation would not get affected b'cos of this.. I really pondered over our whole conversation on this issue and I think the whole point of you being independent and being financially secure and all makes sense and I also think that you have a valid reason, so rest assured I have no problem or watsoever and you will never again hear a word from me against this."

Khushi in disbelief and trying to regain from the shock and trying to make sense out of the words she just heard while the words were slowly seeping inside her brain and trying to make sense out of it, but failing horribly. To make sure she was not dreaming and its really Arnavji talking and not her illusion she cupped Arnavji's face in her hands and said "Arnavji yeah Aap Hi haan na??? Kahin aap mein koi aatma watma to nahi guss gaye hai na??!!!"

Arnav: "Shut Up Khushi"

Khushi: "Haan yeh toh sach me aap hi hai, it means you have no problem or watsoever with my 'Dhaba Business'. Par hum kaise maan le ki iss mein aap ki koi chaal nahi hai aur sach mein aap ka hridya parivartan ho juka hai"

Arnav: "Hridya!!! What??"

Khushi: "Change of heart, How come you suddenly changed 360 degree??"

Arnav: "Well I knew that you will doubt me and ask this question so to prove that watever I'm saying is the truth I already gave order to the printer for you Business cards.. But don't worry I'm not gonna make the payment.. You will, as per your convenience and I have given him the idea on how the Business card should be and I have even recommended your Catering Services to other branches of AR group so you will get more clients and your business will grow faster."

Khushi: "It means you don't have any problem with my 'Dhaba Business'??"

Arnav: "First of all pls stop saying 'Dhaba' its so annoying.. Its 'Catering' and yes I don't have any problem and never again will you hear anything against your business from my mouth"

Khushi: "Yes Yes, 'Dha.. (Bites her tongue) Sorry 'Catering Business', I know there is some profit for you in this b'cos you never do anything without you gaining something out of the situation.. But whatever the reason is behind you agreeing for my business I will come to know sooner or later.. and moreover I never needed your permission.. I would have had continued with my business even if you have said no.. But since you were kind enough to help me so, Thank You"

Arnav: "You are most welcome"

In Present:

Arnavji was really being man of his words not only did his idea on business cards was impressive but his recommendation to his other branches of AR group got Khushi some outer clients as well.. The word started spreading from one colleague to another and they were praising her Culinary Skills and Catering Services to the friends circle outside of their working circle to the people who were working in other offices, and they discussed it with their management and requested them for 'KKGSR Catering Services' and management agreed for it readily, as they too needed to keep their employees happy b'cos after all happy employees are essential for the growth of their company, and a person can be happy if his stomach is happy.. Khushi never said it openly but in her heart she was grateful to Arnavji b'cos had it not for him, her small scale would never had turning into a huge venture. Not only that she was also getting some new orders and clients with each passing day. Khushi now started observing Arnav closely and tried to learn his business tactics, b'cos no matter how much ever experience she may have in cooking but Arnavji was the master in Business and he knew how to crack a deal without being too desperate. In heart Khushi made Arnavji her Guru. Arnavji was like Dronacharya to her and she was Lady Eklavya silently observing him, while he was busy talking on phone or video chatting watching him silently and learning some trade secrets and nuances which is necessary b'cos in business you prone to meet some people who like free meals but do not wanna pay for it and Khushi was finding it difficult as she has never dealt with people on such high scale but her silent observation was paying off and now she was slowly learning to handle every kind of situation.. She learned two very important lessons from Arnavji.

1) Keep your calm and try to crack the deal with a cool head and think twice before making any decision or signing any contract. Do keep in mind that make promises only if you can fulfill it or else it could land you in deep trouble and unnecessary problems.

2) Its ok to be ruthless sometimes, b'cos sometimes in life you meet people who are sly and wicked and try to swindle you and take advantage of your innocence at that point of time stand up to them and show them what you are really made of so that they would never again try to pull that trick on you again. B'cos when you are in hell you have to shake hands with Satan, but on your own terms.

Loved both the parts..especially the last line of second one was too good..on your term's with Satan!! Wow!! Loved the way Arnav helped out Khushi and supported her all thanks to Shyam..LOL!!

Part-2

Arnav was sitting in the hall as usual busy with his laptop and waiting for his black coffee. Khushi returned from market after purchasing vegetables and was really very very tired she just plopped on the couch next to Arnav.

Khushi: "Hari Prakashji kripya ek cup chai pila dijiye" (Hariprakashji please give me a cup of tea) Hey Bhagwan aaj toh hum itna tak gaye hai ki poocho mat aur upar se humme kal ke khane ki soochi bhi banani hai itna kaam pada hai (OMG I'm so dead tired and on top of that I have so much of work to do, I have to decide tomorrow's lunch menu too)". She rests her back on the couch and closes her eyes waiting for her tea to arrive while Arnav still busy on his laptop. Just then Hari Prakash brings Arnav's Black Coffee and places it on the coffee table and goes away. Arnav takes a sip of the coffee and places it back on the table, with a noise and again gets busy with his laptop. The sound of Cup being placed on the table reaches Khushi's ears and she thinks her tea has arrived and thinks 'Arey Wah!! Hari Prakash has so quickly prepared tea for her. God bless his soul' she sits back straight and with half open eyes gropes for the mug grabs the handle and takes the sip out of the mug without giving a second look and the very next second spits out the bitter tasting coffee which distracts Arnav and he as usual says his trade mark word

Arnav : "Wat the !!! If you don't like the bitter taste of coffee then why the hell did you drink it??"

Khushi: "Sorry Arnavji I thought that HariPrakashji has brought tea for me and I was dead tired so without seeing I just took a sip out of your mug. Waise Arnavji tell me one thing is this bitter tasteless, "Kali Coffee" (Black Coffee) is the reason behind your bitter way of speech.." Laughs out Loud

Arnav: Exasperated "Shut up Khushi!! You know wat you should try out the black coffee its really very good for tired brain and body. It helps remove your fatigue and keeps your brain active and awake for hours.. and its good when you have much of work left to do"

Khushi: "Really Arnavji!! I never knew that drinking 'Bylack Coffee' has so many advantages. Do you mind if I give it another try??"

Arnav: "No Problem go ahead, take some sips, at first it would be bitter in taste, but once you get accustomed to it, you will feel fresh and active"

Khushi started with some small sips of the coffee but it was still bitter in taste but she thought why not give it a try once more and took another sip, but still no improvement.

Khushi: "Arnavji it still tastes bitter and I'm feeling kinda pukish, how do you drink this thing"

Arnav: Takes a deep breath grabs the cup from Khushi's hand and takes a sip out of the mug and say "Like this, its not that difficult as I said before it just takes some time to get used to. Now come on give it another shot, I'm sure you will develop a taste for it slowly"

Like this that evening both Khushi and Aranv shared a hot pipping cuppa of Black Coffee together, all thanks to Hari Prakash's forgetfulness of providing Khushi the tea. Later as Arnav said Khushi was feeling active and brimming full of energy and all her tiredness was gone.. So Khushi decided in her heart that though she disliked the initial taste of the Bylack coffee she will drink that everyday. After all even she has to work till late hours and it could not be done with tired mind and body.

Its morning time and the whole Raizada clan has assembled on the dining table to have their breakfast. As decided Khushi got to use the Bathroom first so she was all ready and was already down on the breakfast table, helping her Payal jiji in serving breakfast to everyone. While Arnav was still fiddling with his wardrobe and trying to search for his clothes which were lost in oblivion all thanks to Khushi's shiny 'Gotha' studded clothes acquiring more than 3/4 of his wardrobe.. After much search he was finally able to locate his office wear and rushed inside the bathroom to take a quick shower as he had a very important meeting with the client and had some important points to discuss with Aman before the meeting commences. While coming down the stairs making his way towards the dining table Arnav had bluetooth headset attached to his ears and was discussing some pointers that had to be put forth in the meeting for the clients

Arnav: "Aman make sure to add clause No.32 in the agreement, b'cos later on I don't want the unnecessary problems and make sure that clients have no problem or watsoever with it.. The agreement should be as per the convenience of the clients as well for the company, and what happened to the raw material that was about to be shipped from Surat?? What!! It has still not arrived what the hell were you doing Aman you know we have large number of consignments to be finished and the lack of raw material could possess a very big problem, Aman I can't go on saying such small things to you. Learn to do some work without my instructions. Listen I'm on my way to office will discuss rest of the things then ok. Till then make sure you get the clause added to the agreement and please call up the cargo services to inquire about the raw materials "

Anjali: "Chote how many times I have told you I don't like this annoying habit of yours' of conversing on phone at the dining table"

Arnav: "I am sorry Di but I have a very important meeting in few hours with Foreign Delegation and for that I needed to discuss the pointers and clause that had to be added to the agreement, moreover its my job Di"

Anjali: "Ok Chote, now please relax and try to finish your breakfast"

Just then the phone rings and Arnav again gets busy on the phone. Arnav: "Yes Aman make sure this time the Summer Collection of AR group is modeled by some of the best models of the country and I want the job done perfectly. No goof ups this time. Is that clear??!!"

Anjali: "Chote if your phone rings one more time I would have to confiscate your phone. You are compelling me to behave like a strict warden."

Naniji: "Yes Anjali Bitiya you better do that or else our Chote will never have his breakfast in peace."

Just then the phone rings again and Anjali who had it up to her head with Chote's constant disturbance at the dining table says "That's it Chote please hand me your phone and you will not have it back until you have finished your breakfast"

Arnav: "But Di its not my phone this time"

True to his words it was not Arnav's phone but this time it was to everyone's disbelief it was Khushi who was busy on phone conversing via her bluetooth headset attached to her ears and instructing Shuklaji on phone. Khushi: " Arey Nahi Shuklaji, the CM group of company has yet to clear the last months Canteen Bills. Next time we will tell them to pay in advance so that we don't have any last minute confusions and Shuklaji please tell Raman Bhai to buy vegetables from Chaman Market's Sabji Mandi as the vegetables there are fresh and cheap. With the onions rate sky high we can't afford to buy vegetables from super market and as you know Onion is the main ingredient in every recipe without which the food with be bland and tasteless.. I know Chaman Market is far away but still the money spend on transportation will be less than the Super Market Bills." The whole Raizada clan was looking at Khushi in awe while Arnav was as usual admiring her with "Rabba Ve" music in the background just then Anjali spoke which brought Arnav back to reality.

Anjali in exasperated tone: "Lo!!! First we had Chote who was 24/7 sticking to his phone and giving out instructions to his P.A. as though the torture of listening to his constant instructions and ranting was not enuff, now we have Female Version of Chote our very own "Choti"i.e., Khushiji who has started taking leaves out of her dear Husband's book and repeating the same action play by play. A real "Match Made in Heaven" Everyone started laughing at Anjali's comment while Khushi was going red in cheeks and there was a soft smile playing on Arnav's lips as he for the very first time feeling proud of Khushi, he never knew that Khushi had it in her the thing which makes a person successful business person. He for the very first time was seeing his own replica in Khushi and was going ga-ga over his beautiful wife who in real sense was beauty with brains. Except Manorama and Shyam everyone were enjoying this moment. Shyam was on fire after listening to Anjali's comments he hated the fact of Khushi being with Arnav let alone being referred to as the "Match made in Heaven" . "What Rubbish" Shyam thought, "Khushiji is the match made for me and not for Arnav these people don't know that Khushiji was brought to this Earth only for me and not for Arnav. She belongs only to me and me alone, just waiting for the right opportunity to make her mine"

Manorama: "Hello Hi Bye Bye!!! Anjali Bitiya why are you comparing this worthless 'Phati Sari' to our Arnav Bitua.. There is absolutely no 'Cumparision' our Anav Bitua is Pure Gold and this 'Phati Sari' is Gold Polished Covering. You know that proverb na "All that glitters is not gold". 'Phati Sari' talking on the bluetooth headset will not make her equivalent to our Arnav Bitua."

Naniji: "Manorama, will you please for once mind your own business. No one asked for your opinion, now everyone please be quiet and try to finish your breakfast "

After everyone finished their breakfast Akash and Arnav was about to leave for office and Khushi too was on her way to AR Group in Rohini

Anjali: "Chote, take khushiji with you in your car"

Khushi: "Nahi Di, I'm not going to Arnavji's office I'm going to the AR group which is in Rohini and its in opposite direction. Arnavji will get late for his meeting"

Arnav: "Its ok Khushi, I'll drop you, the meeting is not until afternoon and it has been quiet a while since I last visited the office in Rohini so I will drop you there and as well check on the production work and management. Come I'll give you a lift"

Khushi not able to believe her ears was happy in heart as this was the first time Arnavji was happily offering her lift without any initial qualms "Ok Arnavji"

Anjali: "Yeh hui na baat!!.. Ok Chote please come back soon from office today as 'Navratri' has started and today is Ekadashi and a small Pooja has been kept at home. I know you can't fast b'cos of your Sugar problem but please for God sake (bites her tongue) Sorry for my sake please don't consume non-veg"

Khushi: "Arey don't worry Di, Arnavji eats the food provided by KKGSR Catering Services and we take care of everything. I know that 'Navratri' has commenced from today so I will see to it that Arnavji only eats food provided by our Catering team and no outside food is served to him"

Anjali: "Arey haan I totally forgot that you are the catering manager of AR Group, Chalo now I don't have to worry about anything"

Arnav to Khushi : "What are you, the surveillance camera monitoring my every action, and btw who made you the detective" Khushi was about to open her mouth but Anjali intervened "Enuff both of you pls don't start with your argument aren't you two getting late for the office, now go and yes 'Choti' you too come back soon from office ok"

Khushi: "Are you referring to me Di??"

Anjali: "Yes from now onwards I will call you 'Choti', my sweet Chote's, sweet Choti" Anjali Laughed out loud leaving ArHi blushing with embarrassment.
