The reason why Arnav fell in love with Khushi ...yes , we are beginning to get that girl back... This was the girl that had gone missing the last 2 episodes ... A feisty girl, a optimistic girl, a go -getter, A Girl who takes the fight right into lions lair and beats him fair and square instead of throwing tantrum..

Khushi seized the opportunity presented to her !! Khushi has a brain wave , she decides to serve all the extra food she had cooked as a stress buster to the starving populace of AR ... Armed with various boxes, Khushi arrives and is sent into the office ...Not only to a man's heart , looks like food is the way into the office too..Khushi comes into the office and begins her sales pitch ..which soon attracts the starving masses ..They gather around her like ants gathering around sugar...Khushi begins to tempt them but all hesitate loath to face the ire of their short tempered Boss ...undaunted Khushi takes the box's , heads for the canteen, warmly inviting everyone and openly challenging a glowering Arnav who is watching her action quietly ...Hunger overcomes scruples and fears, The office members troop into the canteen partake the food.. Arnav promptly sends them back ..refuses to eat Khushi's food , departs after singeing Akash with his glare...

What I really loved in this segment was the entrepreneurial spirit of Khushi ... The ability to spot a break, seize it with both hands and utilize it for her benefit...This was the quality that had lead to grudging admiration from ASR ..and it is heartening to see that fighter quality coming back ...

The growing comfort and acceptance of one another gets underlined again ... Khushi would never dare to enter the office with such insouciance earlier but deep down somewhere she has accepted him and he too has accepted her hence his quietness , his lack of anger instead of 'GET OUT , KHUSHI KUMAARIII GUPTA - SINGH RAIZAADAA
"..

Y'day in my post I had lambasted Khushi , her drive to annoy Arnav but now conscience pricks me as I see it from another angle ... Why is Khushi doing all the annoying tactics... as I had said in response to Sunni, isn't there any other way to annoy him like the impersonal mango jooyees, sugar crystals way .. When the CV's could find such a way of getting at Arnav , why then was Khushi shown trying to peeve Arnav by hanging up the dresses, stars, shoes, posters .. why when a girl is eager to go leave before 6 months wants vex her man by hanging her personal things, why does she want to imprint his room with HER stamp... could it be bec she does not wan
to go ..Is there a reverse psychology at work here .. She is stating quite emphatically that this is all for a period of 6 Months but is actually looking for permanence , and in pursuance of her subconscious desire is she seeking for signs of affirmations from him ?? ...

I also loved the suggestion of Akash playing bridge between the inimical jodi and the way he stood supporting Khushi but only AFTER Arnav gave his permission ... The ultimate control still in the hands of the control freak, ASR...

The second scene that I liked was the case of missing Box... Khushi realizes that two boxes are missing and begins a massive box hunt spread out across the LXB of Ar...Her search finally takes her to the King's room , where to her utter astonishment she discovers the grumpy Arnav relishing her cooking... She watches spellbound as Arnav tucks in to her food , rushing only to stop him from eating the sweets ...

There is a saying in my Mother tongue ' Kenjinal minjidum, Minjinal kenjidum ' [ roughly translated means..when u plead or very attentive towards them, they act aloof and standoffish but when u urself take the lead and become aloof and not pay attention to them, they descend from their heights and be humility personified ] ...This personified the food eating scene to me.. Akash invites Arnav for lunch which is churlishly refused , when he is not compelled or forced we find Arnav Singh Raizada quietly devouring food like a man who had not seen food for days ...Had Khushi invited Arnav , The stubborn goatwa would have firmly refused and would have starved himself rather than eat from Khushi's Kitchen ... The lack of attention worked !!

I liked the acting of both Barun and Sanaya here ... Her sheer astonishment when she sees Arnav eating her food .. her instant comprehension that if she betrayed her presence , Arnav will just stop eating and walks away , her smile of pure and gentle affection like a mother who has seen her stubborn recalcitrant child doing what is good for him... then the concern when Arnav stretches his hand towards the forbidden sweet s.. The elation that he actually ate what she cooked, inexpressible joy that the person who mattered , the person whom u look up to, the person around whom ur thoughts revolve tasted her food, gave her an unexpected present .
..Sanay was pure delight to watch as the naive young girl who is indescribably happy on seeing her grouchy hubby consuming the food prepared by her !! A girl who loves simple pleasures , A girl who understands with an inborn instinct that this simple pleasures are priceless ... And Barun.. A starving man ravenously devouring everything in the box, not content with it, he licks the last morsel from his fingers too.. contentment steals over him and he wishes to seal the this contented feeling with dessert when into this joyful world intrudes the most unwelcome sound ...Khushi !!...Instant mortification, sheepishness at being caught !!.. embarrassment and alertness for Khushi's sharp jibe but when Khushi goes ' tomorrow I'll get halwa' ..Instant attitude [ as he realizes that she will not tease him ] !! he just takes the coat and stalks away hiding his chagrin, just pausing to give a sidelong glance ..he did all this with that tilted head...Kudos to him !! ....The important point to note he did not refuse her offer nor was there a curt dismissal just a acquiescence ...I also liked the way she entered his cabin as if it belonged to her , to them...

I also loved the FB when the office guy goes .. ' I wish consuming of such delicious food was in everyone's destiny ' well it definitely is there in Arnav's destiny !!

Dil-Dimag

The last scene when Arnav and Khushi are on the phone talking about their respective business deals reminded me about the Dil-Dimag Dialogue during Sangeet...Khushi had confidently asserted that come what may she will never become Arnav..Has she stood true to that ...hasn't she opened herself to Arnav , the girl who was resisting him, we are getting the signs that Khushi too has begun to imbibe arnav, Arnav's thought process, his favourite words [wat tha] are becoming part of her lexicon .. Arnav has begun to seep into her psyche unconsciously .. She has begun to observe him , absorb him ... but is it a one way process ...no.. If Khushi is learning and accepting Dimag aspect, Arnav is learning about Dil.. letting go, smiling, compromising , learning the art of feeling happy in another person's joy ...Both Dil & Dimag are working in tandem , learning from one another , realizing that they can work harmoniously together too as long as that life giver emotion called "LOVE " flows between them and is oiled by mutual acceptance , respect and admiration !! Khushi has begun to make inroads into Arnav's world but for Arnav Khushi is THE world...The DIL & DIMAG has begun to merge ..

The darkness has begun to retreat , lights are filtering in .. Arnav is falling once again for the same girl, a girl who was always the same , who had never changed but got a distorted vision due to a shroud of Misunderstanding...That shroud still persists but has begun to fray ...whereas for Khushi , her slumbering emotions are showing the first stirrings of life, she has begun to comprehend that this Rakshas matters to her , she goads him torments him all in the hope of getting an acknowledgement that she matters to him ...His actions sends her on a winged ecstasy to the stars or plunges her into the deepest abyss !!.. He has crept into her heart , noiselessly and has begun to shoot tendrils of feelings, opening a whole new world to her ...

Payal - Maami ... This scene showed that when time comes for decisive action, Payal will not be a shrinking violet ..she is decisive , courageous , knows what to do... a trait which will come to the aid Of Khushi ...Maami... I felt sorry for her today...her need to be accepted by the higher echelon, her innate sense of inferiority complex.. her awareness of the truth that she is not a high status lady...was beautifully brought ...will this fashion show prove to be the first thaw and acceptance of Payal or will it be starw in the winds...or will this union herald many more adventures re KHUSHI/ARNAV/SHYAM...?? have to be seen

Shyam has got Anjali where he wants her... he has ensured that Anjali will see what he wants her to see and looks like Anjali will do just that in the beginning

Note to CV's

I really appreciate ur efforts to show that true entrepreneurial skills does not require degree papers but vision, courage, intelligence and sharp mind but let me also remind you that Khushi is a business tycoon's wife ...as such she needs to maintain his dignity too..it would be befitting that she is made the head with Mohan, HP helping her by serving the employees ...

Whatever happened to the femme fatales of AR .. This time around his office is full of males !!

ASR's room ... what happened again...no chimes, no photos, no blings !!

'The man who gets angry at the right things and with the right people and in the right way and atthe right time and for the right length of time is commended'
-Aristotle

Arnav and khushi have the strings joined to their hearts in a way that a huge misunderstanding cannot loosen it..

Its what i saw today.. the simple smile that cameon her lips when she saw him guzzle down her food, the instictive care when he reached for the jalebis.. it was so beautiful and right!

the day belonged to her today!

and ur post made my night pass more sweetly!

thank u..😊

Quite honestly, the first half of today's episode bored me to tears. The second half, however, enthralled me.

For people who are supposed to be billionaires and creme de la creme of society, they sure do allow others to walk all over them. How can Anjali, Mami, or Nani allow anyone to talk to them like that? These people are Raizadas; they should have the power to destroy or create reputations and here they are, listening to crap coming out of other peoples mouths and not doing anything about it? W*F?

I liked how Payal stood up to the women; maybe she's not a total nincompoop.

Now onto the second half!

You're right, there was a sense that Khushi and Arnav had started towards the path of acceptance and comfort. The way Arnav didn't say anything when she started her shenanigans rather than yelling 'Get Out' and Khushi's 'What the pizza ke liye' dialogue have made me realize that they're steadily starting to twine together.

I still really don't like the way Khushi didn't care about Arnav's neck pain and his leaving without eating breakfast, thus, I'm still annoyed because she didn't bother thinking about it at the office either. It's like she didn't care and we know she cares. That's an unforgivable blooper CVs!

I loved, loved, loved the instrumental Rabba Ves' today! Loved them! In fact, I can't stop watching them! [Thanks Shy for the uncut video :D] Now this is what IPKKND is all about! Not the forced Rabba Ve from yesterday [the second one]

Khushi's 'what the' when she saw Arnav eating was delightful. You're right tanthya, they have begun to percolate. Khushi's picking up a few of ASR's mannerisms and ASR taking in a little bit of Khushi. I love the way the CVs portrayed this. Good job CVs! [now try NOT to screw it up]

Also, Arnav's expression when Khushi said 'businessman's patni' made me recall the Arnav from the cliff scene, when ASR and Khushi get Payal and Akash together and Khushi grabs his wrist, he had the same expression then. It's a mix between wonder and confusion as if he can't believe she's for real. I love that expression!

Lastly, I liked Shyam and Anjali's chemistry today. If he weren't a total a-hole, I would have loved to see them together. However, since, he's a lying cheating murderous b****rd, I'd like for him to die a horrible death. At least he's taking the story forward; left to Arnav and Khushi, we'd be stuck on the '100 ways to annoy ASR' for a decade.

PS: CVs can we please have a real conversation between Arnav and Khushi, I'm starting to get annoyed at the lack of communication between them.

Tanthya,

First of all, I know you were not very happy with the episode yesterday, but still you took the time, to read and comment on my post, thank you so much!! I missed the napkins though.😉

As you said, today was progress from the last two episodes, still slow but progress. The very first thought that passed my mind after I saw the episode was "Relationships are mending". Today, many different facets of relationships were shown, Arnav-Khushi, Aakash -Khushi, Shyam-Anjali or Payal-Mami. Each was either mending, progressing , blooming, deepening or changing . Each was moving forward in a good or a bad way, each were changing into different outlooks which was very beautifully conveyed by you.👏 Now each of these have to endure the storm that is brewing around them, whether they will survive the test of peril or collapse under its weight, is a question that today has no answer

I agree with you that, if Khushi would have asked Arnav to eat, he would have refused, "The lack of attention" theory worked. I loved what they showed but what I would have also liked to see was that, at least once, the thought passes her mind that he has not eaten since morning or must be hungry. The thought could have changed to steely determination in the very next moment, that she is not going to ask or care, but at least, for a mini-micro moment, I would have also liked to see that small snippet of care from her side.

I hope the CV's take note of your sentence "maintain the business tycoon's dignity". It is high time they showed us that she understands, that she has to maintain her husband's dignity in front of the outside world also, it is her character trait. What weird's me out is, she so beautifully maintains it at her house, in front of the family members but completely forgets about it or ignores it when she comes to the office, the outside world.

And now, let me say my daily mantra, "Fantastic Post, Tanthya!!!" Just loved your Dil-Dimaag theory...

Below is my analysis:

Today, I had a tough time peeling the layers of this "filler" episode of the "filler" week and finally one thing struck me. So here we go:

Khushi's whole thought process of paying back Arnav his money, the sum amount of "Rs 300" (actually it almost one lakh but CVs have forgotten about it, so shall we) started with Arnav's one sentence "Unnhe kya lagta hain ki woh merese cheat kar sakte hain..they are behaving like thieves". From that moment, her world has shaken and she has become restless because she cannot even the bear the thought of him thinking of her as a "cheater". This has scared her. Thus, her mission has started to ensure that he does not get a chance to think about her in such lowly terms as sometimes respect of the person you love matters more than the love itself. Of course, she has consciously not yet realized that she is in love but somewhere subconsciously his opinion does matter to her, it always has.

I really likes the ways CVs have taken this small incident, of her borrowing money from Arnav, to show us how much Arnav's opinion matter to her, and how much his lowly opinion of her, can affect her. I do not know how they will play this, but it can go either of the two ways:

First, it might just be a way for us to understand her extreme reaction when she realizes that Arnav in reality does think of her as a cheater, as a thief who stole her sister's husband. If a thought can make her restless and uneasy, reality might just break her, its definitely going to hurt her. But she is not one of those people who take things lying down. She is, as we saw today, a feisty girl who is not scared of her circumstances, who is definitely capable of finding solution and fighting back using either fair means or foul. Thus, once the shock is over, we will see her start the process of unraveling the truth, using all sorts of tricks and manipulations, to expose Shyam and prove her innocence.

Or else.

We might see Arnav asking her about the deal she was cracking today which would make him aware of her desire to return his borrowed money, as she does not want him to think of her as a cheater or a thief who has stolen his money. Arnav (if his brain is back from vacation) hopefully would start wondering that why would someone, who is a dishonest person, who is already deceiving him and his sister, who is already blackened her character for the rest of her life, would go to such lengths to return a small amount of money, just because she is scared to be thought of as a "cheater". This would thus make him dig deeper and unveil the facts from the well of half truths that were conveyed to him by Shyam.

I do not know which route CV's will take but I just hope that whichever route the CV's take (there might be a third one), they do full justification to the track that we all have been eagerly waiting for from the past few months.

Thanks Tanths, awesome analysis. I am actually one of those few people who have loved to see Khushi in all her glory for the past few days. Her OTT behavior for the past couple of days was silly & annoying but then that is what she set out to be, so that ASR would himself try to get rid her of her. But unbeknownst to her, hubby dearest is a goner for life where she is concerned and no amount of annoying him will achieve the result she is looking for anytime soon. 😆

So I am mighty glad that she changed tactics today, although, not purposely. What happened today was a byproduct and not the end product of her plans. The growing love and trust that is invisibly growing between them will soon become strong enough to withstand any storms coming their way.

Yep, those two are falling for each other in a different kind of way. Earlier it was all passion and attraction, now it is all the caring. The bhang seems to have left an indelible mark on them. Arnav knows he loves her totally and also knows she feels the same kind of attraction for him as well, so he is being totally submissive to her w/o letting her know as much. It's such a cute thing to watch him, loving her, yet not telling her, but his actions speak louder than words. 😳

He looked so cute devouring her food yet not willing to admit that he loves her cooking. Poor boy! he's stuck in a hard place right now. 😆 The glow of love & pride on Khushi's face when she saw him eating her food was worth a million bucks. They are building these invisible bonds between them that will become so strong that no creep can cut them asunder.

The look of sheer pride and amusement on his face in the last scene was something to die for. He felt so proud that Khushi was proud to be HIS wife and talking HIS talk was just priceless for him. 😍

You're so right, they have both begun to imbibe the other's qualities without being aware or even trying. It just happens when you love & respect someone so much, you begin to imitate them unintentionally.

P.S. I agree 100% with you, while I believe in dignity of labour and have absolutely no qualms in Khushi becoming a caterer or something similar, but please keep in mind, in India status/dignity is everything. So CVs please keep ASR's & KKGSR's dignity intact while giving Khushi her entrepreneurial break.

P.P.S. Why is the entrance to Anjali's room and her poolside facing French doors resembling more & more like ArHi's room? I don't remember her having those poolside facing French doors previously. 😕

it was a nice episode today, brilliant analysis, u have summed up the episode beautifully.

The scene where Arnav was eating the food wit absolute relish, the first thing I thou was that it was Barun and not Arnav 😊. The last scene is a case of sangat ka asar, she has now started playing business business, and the look on his face wen she said I am a businessman's wife was so cute. They r both learning 4rm each other and evolving slowly.

Great post 👏

After a dismal couple of episodes, I liked today's show. Khushi didn't do something silly just to irritate Arnav and there were no unnecessary fights. I like the way Arnav doesn't say a word to Khushi, but his eyes speak volumes. He never throws her out of AR (as you pointed out) and even when she openly states that she is going to the cafeteria, he doesn't say anything. It's almost as if he knows that he can intimidate everyone else but not Khushi.

I loved the finger licking scene. Even though ASR is rich and can have anything he wants, the simple pleasure of enjoying a meal cooked by his wife is a joy to watch. Khushi's reaction was as you said beautiful.👏

The Shyam-Anjali scene wasn't too bad either. I actually watched Shyam without having to press fast forward (a first in a long time). One thing I didn't get though, and I was hoping you would mention it in your post, was his reaction to Anjali's saying that all she wanted were these small things and that these things would make her keep falling in love with him (or something to that effect). For a moment there, Shyam looked nonplussed and as if what she said caught him completely unawares!! For that single second, I almost believed that he realized what a wrong path he was treading and that he could change and love Anjali the way she loved him😲. The next second the look was gone and he had his usual smirk. Do you think what she said gave him some ideas that he hadn't thought of yet or was it something else?

All in all, today's episode is one that I can re-watch...which is more than I can say of the last few episodes!
