I agree with almost everyone here who is saying we don't need a lip kiss from Arhi as they will feel very awkward doing soo..who need Lip kiss to boost up trp's this show is stole our hearts with eyelocks and Rabba ve moments..and so respect Sarun about their point of view on Lip Kiss..If know Lip kiss and french Kiss so popular in Bollywood now but..Salman Khan hasn't kissed anyone on screen..I heard he was supposed to do that in his Movie Ready ..but I never watched the Movie so I don't know..he is still romantic hero and loved by everyone.. When we talk about Arhi their Chemistry is Hot, Sizzling , Boiling...and so on...

was this kissing etc really such a big deal in the other show or as per usual the expected hype doing the martial rounds...and did they kiss kiss or was it camera or just a lip meet lip...what is the deal here..or better still someone point me in the right way will go watch...

I think having a kiss should ultimately be Barun and Sanaya's decision. Would I like to see one? Yes and no. I think a kiss between them would literally set screens on fire (the almost kiss anyone?) so YES! But I think this would make it even more awkward between SaRun and I really don't want that, so NO! I don't remember the movie, but I remember this dialogue about why a saree is more erotic than a mini skirt, because it shows what is necessary, but hides everything important making them desire for more. I think ArHi are like that. They show just enough to keep us hooked and wanting. Tease!😆

Another thing I would argue is that in a western show, we expect the leads to kiss. It's a given when people sign up for leads that they would, at some point, kiss. But in indian television, actors don't assume that they would be kissing when they sign up for a show. This might even be a deal breaker for them, so i think it is unfair for the writers and director to force it on them in the middle of the show.

And the media is already trying to ruin SaRun's friendship. Imagine them getting a hold of something like this. I think i would much prefer for them to sacrifice the kiss, in order to have a sizzling on-screen and a healthy and cute off-screen relationship.

Agree with..they don't need to Kiss ..we already Love em like crazy and Respect their point of view

It's their choice!! I think we should respect that! I have accepted long back that Indian tv don't do real lip-action! There are only a few who would and most won't! It's the matter of choices! Lip kiss is more intimate because you're like giving a part of yourself to someone! Americans do it because they have that freedom! In soaps they don't or can't use tongue! I can't figure out how they do it but it's possible, it seems!! 😆

Jeez... They make kissing or just a small peck the biggest deal ever like its a crime and your gonna go to jail... I think as actors since they chose such a profession they should be well aware of what it may demand from them... Especially a show like IPKKND which was passed off as an intense love story... For me an intense love story is not about clowning or monkeying around... If IPKKND is said to be intense it should be intense in which case a small peck should not be a problem... I mean, I've seen a bit of Baruns Previous show and the scenes he had with Ankita were so much more intimide and bold ( even more then the Diwali night and Teri meri dance)... For me I don't think it's about personal spouse for him at all... He is quite an versatile actor in which I don't think his spouse holds a grudge of any sort...
As far as Sanaya is concerned, I hate to say it but I think most of the awkwardness comes from her... Even if she tries to pass Barun off as a shy person, I think she is more awkward during scenes...

Again, Sanaya only experienced romance and romantic scenes in MJHT and that too with her real life BF so I think she is more awkward when doing romantic scenes with Barun... Whereas Barun has a well experience of romance from two other shows...

As far as SaRun is concerned, I respect their opinion and point of view... And nobody is forcing them to do such scenes Anywayz ... We do love them the way they are... And besides I think it will be really awkward for them to shot such a scene considering the fact that a simple eye lock makes them Awkward... Especially Sanaya since she makes Barun close his eyes during eye locks... So I understand their situation and totally cool with them not kissing...

But yeah, if they can do something so intimide like Teri meri then why not a small lightest peck????
