Part three:

Khushi held the box and kangans but suddenly the weight of the box and kangan became too heavy and her hands fell to her sides...

Khushi sat back down on the bed and placed the box next to her...

She began to caress the kangans, admiring and looking at the beauty of them. She never really gave them much thought because of the way they were given to her. The day she had gotten them... the way Arnav had smiled at her, flirting with her... and then she gulped in when she thought of the fact that it was all fake...all a show for mami!

But today, they looked so much more beautiful, they carried a special bond and meaning behind them.

She then placed the kangan down and looked at the box...hesitantly she picked it up. There was a battle taking place within her. Should she open the box? Should she read the letter? But with what right, she is not the bahu of the house and Arnav never gave her the letter. He did not give her the right to be his wife! She put the box down and stood up.

No! I have no right, I am only here for 6 months and whatever is in this box is Not for me!

She walked over to the doors leading to the poolside... she looked out at the poolside, only to get flashbacks of all the moments they shared and then came the vivid moments of holi. "Pati jo hun" rang in her ears, the way he put colour on her and when he said "hamari dharkanen ek hogati hai"...

Her heart began to beat faster now, she could not shake off this feeling that he truly felt something for her and what was Di saying, I was the one responsible for Arnav's smile...

Khushi's confusion had no limits...she turned around and looked at the box...
