Regarding ignorance, I will share some lighter stories when I was in med school. Final year ob& Gyn posting. They brought a fairly young girl 19 or so, who was pregnant around 2 months. But the stunner was, husband abroad for past 8 months. We asked her how and you won't believe what she tried to feed us!
