For all those who searched for my post on Monday's epi (especially Lovely and Shweta): I told you once and twice and I tell thee again. It is hard for me to be regular, living in a not so technologically advanced place. Forget net connection. Yesterday, my place didn't even have ELECRTICITY & WATER SUPPLY. Talk about learning to live in everyway! After 26 hours of restless wait, it was fixed and here I am writing to you all. Worst part, I hadn't watched Monday's epi. Explains why I was in a grouchy mood at college today, and I would have remained so if a dear friend of mine hadn't given me a detailed sum-up on the epi. And when I heard it, I felt like crying. Why? Because yesterday's epi was SO FULL OF 'SCOPE-FOR-INTERPREATIONS'. I felt like kicking myself for missing it. And now its too late to return back to a ship that has sailed and we journey ahead to the new land: The Tuesday Epi.

Holi track has definitely begun with great promises and awesome signs. Let's glimpse through today's hit points.

RED ECLIPSE

PICKING POINTERS:

  1. First reason for joy: the Raizadas and Guptas have finally and entirely forgiven Kushi and accepted her. Family's Love for Kushi in the descending order: Babuji loved her unconditionally, Mamaji had already accepted her, Anjali was the first to forgive, Nani was ready to forgive but acted stubborn, Amma was waiting for an opportunity to forgive her, Buaji was reluctant because Kushi had been her favourite niece and hence she had been the most hurt (also she's very prejudiced against people who do wrong) and Mamiji...eh, let's say we'll need to wait a while longer for her to throw in the line. Kushi is Buaji's favorite child and this is proved many times throughout the many episodes of the past, and today it was shown again. She remembered Kushi's color so well: yellow.
  2. Nana: was fun to watch! And the way Arnav watched it reminded me of the time he watched her doing Ooh, La, La. He really likes it when he sees her blend with his family and there is extreme happiness in the air.
  3. Mami's 'sensible' face: Yes, she has a lot of sense you see. She picks up hints and clues where no one else sees them.
  4. Nani ning: First time Nani says "Kushi" instead of Kushi bitiya. It was meant to be a sign of anger, but actually it was cover-up for the ready forgiveness. When she threw the color at Kushi, did you see how she smiled at Kushi with tilted head: its an expression that shows whole-hearted motherly care. Proves that Nani had always loved Kushi and in spite of the wrong she did, still had loved her though she acted stubborn and did not show it out. Why? Because her grandson and Kushi didn't seem to regret their decision. And if they did regret, they would have told them the reason for the marriage. But now she could hold back her love no longer, and sprayed out her affection for Kushi immensely! Also, note how Nani had opened her arms wide even before Kushi had run to her. And, the way she speaks of Kushi's name. I'd like to point out the other name: Kushi. How she brings joy to all those around her in her little childish ways. The reason why Arnav, a man ten years older than her and so different from her like fire and ice, fell head over heels in love with her.
  5. Loved Anjali's dialogue: Not every one is lucky to put it on him: meaning "Kushi, you have every RIGHT to. He belongs to you! Show that you own him."
  6. Arnav maintaining manners even when dealing with the villain. He asks Shyam's permission in a dark demanding tone, "I would like to put it on her first, I'm her hubby."
  7. Loved how he held Shyam's hand. If the hand was "advance towards Kushi", Arnav's hold on Shaym's hand was "No you don't." and loved the brilliant warning look he reserves for his Ji. Ja. Ji.
  8. Arnav seeing her down-to-earth humility: "I may be the wife of ASR but still I like to remain naturally me!" He stood admiring her attitude today like how he'd watched her prepare for the meal at the Gupta house on Payal's wedding day.
  9. Incoming promo sequence: Kushi gave a prologue statement about it: Bhang imposed = Heart exposed. And when Kushi prayed to DeviMayya, I think I heard the goddess chuckle from above, "Beti, Kushi...You want me to save you from that day? I kept that day reserved especially for you..."
  10. Shyam disliked Kushi's reunion with the Raizadas and Guptas. He had been planning on the prolonged hatred as an easy field to toy with her and now his plans will have to undergo modification. Also note the way he says, "Kushiji" when standing before her with the color in his hand: he had used her name to stop her incessant and irritating flow of excuses that were meant to stop him from his desire.

Oh and here comes my star interpretations...

DIGGING DEEPER:

  1. First thing I fell for. Arnav and Shyam, walking towards the same aim from two different directions. One walks along the path of the wrong, LUST, and the other along the path of the right, LOVE. While Arnav sees Kushi as the embodiment of all his Love, Shyam sees her as an object to quench his Lust. When Shyam walks to her, he only thinks of himself, "I want her," and when Arnav walks to her, he only thinks of her, "I must protect her."
  2. Nani telling that Shyam must put colour on Kushi and that Kushi must let him. The old lady's giving a ticket to Shyam to touch her, but note how the same Nani gives a ticket to Kushi to put colour on Arnav's face. What does this show? Nani might, in the future, be the reason why Shyam finds opportunities to try his tricks on Kushi unnoticed and also the reason why Kushi and Arnav get to spend some time in each other's company.
  3. Did you notice the relieved smile (along with slightly tearful eyes) that Arnav gives when he sees Nani having forgiven Kushi? Why did he look happy and relieved? Because accepting Kushi means accepting his decision to marry her.
  4. Since the beginning of the show we have been seeing that Arnav is led to do things that he never believed in and got involved in pujas, rituals, temple-goings etc: all because Kushi was involved in it directly or indirectly. Today too, he was about to walk away, when Shyam's remark caught his attention, and he stepped forward to claim what he rightfully owned.
  5. Anjali the Red. Yes, I noticed this is yesterday's epi as well. When Kushi was standing talking to HP, she was framed between a plate with Red powder and a plate with Blue powder: one signifying Red Anjali and the other Arnav, the sea. Today as well, Anjali the red was obvious throughout. While incessantly stalking and chasing Kushi, Shyam shows no shame in bringing his tag of 'Anjali's husband' along with him (the red plate he takes when walking towards Kushi). The very hand that puts Anjali's sindoor, was dipped in the red to be put on Kushi. When Arnav comes into the scene, he takes from the same plate held in Shyam's hand. Meaning: He marries Kushi for Anjali who is still in Shyam's hand. And then in the end of that set of scenes we see Shyam crushing his red hand in a fist, showing that he is going to crush Anjali and throw her helpless trust to the ground if he cannot get Kushi. Again you see when Kushi is going to put colour on Arnav, Anjali herself is standing between them holding the plate with the red, hence proving my argument that Anjali is the 'red' on the plate. Oh and did you see the way she carried the plate from Shyam's hold to Arnav. Looks like the future was just told to us. Anjali will carry herself with Kushi walking parallel with her, both heading towards Arnav who has always and will always promise and keep his promise to protect them. In conclusion, looks like the entire story revolves around Anjali. And Shyam, Arnav and Kushi are all tied to each other, BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL TIED TO ANJALI.
  6. Red Eclipse: This was my favorite part of the show! A human 'lunar' eclipse where the 'moon passes between the Sun and the Earth'. When Arnav comes to stand between them, watch how he glides into the orbit as if it was meant to be so. Kushi, who is the beacon of joy and light, and loves yellow, is the Sun. The Sun that shines in the glooms of the Guptas and Raizadas and brings a smile to every face. Kushi is the Sun that shines through the wedges and peepholes of the closed door of Arnav's heart. Arnav is the Moon that is cold, dark and secretive and needs the Sun (Kushi) to shine out from. But when there is no Kushi, he is the dark and cold moon again. And Shyam. He is like a worm from the Earth, a personification of Dirt, and an amalgamation of Hell, a dimension believed to be below the Earth. So you see how this particular lunar eclipse occurs? Another brilliant thing we need to notice in this eclipse is how Kushi sees Arnav defending her. She first sees the two hands in a silent war, for she had opened her eyes, searching for the reason why the detested hand had still not touched her cheek. When she looks to see who the holder of Shyam's hand is and realizes its Arnav, she is both stunned and relieved. The relief overtakes the stunned expression, and she moves more closer to him, finding refuge behind his strong shoulders and shielding herself in his shadow.
  7. The Red Smear of Promises: Arnav's touch on her cheeks was not reluctant. He didn't think. He just did it. With every right. Loved the tender feather touch on either cheek. If you watch it in reverse, you will see that he is actually wiping away her tears and even asking her to stretch her lips out and smile. His way of putting color on her cheek is his way of promising to PROTECT HER. Now lets' see Kushi put it on him. Reluctant, afraid but secretly wanting to. And do you see how gently she puts it on him. There is only one message she conveys to him by the soft glide of her hands along his angry jaw line, her promise to always LOVE HIM. Even if he keeps secrets, fights with her, hurts her...she will still continue to love him. When she is smearing his cheeks, notice how Arnav looks at her. He is asking her if her touch is born out of genuine love. "I touched you and though my face didn't show it, I did it out of love. But what about you?" And then when he turns away and he touches his cheek where she had smeared the color, watch his expression closely. He is almost certain, "yes it was love!" And then he looks at her as if to ask: "Yes? No?"

PRECAP: Shyam is their eternal cupid. Everything he does, and tells Anjali always ends up in brining Kushi and Arnav together. Today itself, if he hadn't made that blatant statement, Arnav would have walked away and Kushi wouldn't have been smeared by him or smeared his face either. Yup, the Creep's always been proved a cupid and will continue to be proved so. Thanks Shyam bitwa for all that you're doing!

UPDATED THOUGHTS:

Desibubbly's second half had a few words to convey:

  1. Second Half connects the red put on their cheeks, the red shawl fluttering between them when they married on the dark night in the Temple and the red powder slipped before the statue of DeviMayya, and interprets the red as the goddess herself. Referring to the ArHi Code, Second Half assumes the interpretation to show that the goddess has always led the two lovers and will continue to guide them henceforth.
  2. Second Half also pointed out that the red of the sindoor had been put on Kushi in the secretive solitude of the marriage night. But now Arnav puts red on her in public thereby acclaiming her as his wife with his family for witness. Her outing it on him is a sign of her silent and gentle acceptance of him as her husband.
  3. First half contrasted with the colours of yellow and red put on Kushi. In Buaji's eyes, Kushi is always a little girl and hence put the yellow. In Arnav's and Shyam's eyes Kushi is a woman and hence the red.
  4. Also something I posted in Lovely's post: The interpretation behind Arnav in jeans and vest-less shirt: he is returning back to his unlived childhood, the doors of which would be opened gradually through this track, and holi is the heightened moment of this event. Kushi is the key that opened him to return back to his missed out youth.

Thanks annieK...very much. But don't mind me asking, why the question about my whereabouts? Did I do something wrong in my post that may be directed to the effects of my location?
Oh, okay wait, got it...the delay part, huh? Well...let's just say I love my motherland despite of its drawbacks.

Seems i get to comment first. I loved your analysis, especially about the eclipse part. Just wished, that Arnav had noticed that Khushi is using him as a shield against Shyam.

i loved your post...my only thoughts are after giving so many happy scenes will they once again start the hate track. I swear i cannot hold on to it...waited all these 9 months only to see them fall in love...true unconditional love and any more misunderstandings cannot be accepted. let them bring a track where they both fight for anjali together or having a misunderstandings with the siblings...but not between ARshi...

Don't worry devsum, an incident will pop up when we least expect it and Arnav will know how constantly Kushi looks up to him as her personal brand of shield!
And vidata, I understand what your feeling. We would all feel that way too. But let me ask you, if everything is happy and fine, won't the show be over sooner than it is supposed to? This track will proceed for sometime, and we might get to see some really wonderful romantic scenes too. But after a long run, before we get tired of romance, the CVs will think of putting in the storm of the two prominent tracks of the show: Shyam's revelation before the families, and the connection between Arnav's and Kushi's past. Until these tracks come, we can enjoy int theor romance. But the main point about any track is to finally show that these two love, are mad about and can survive only with each other. So cheer up vidata and keep enjoying ArHi...

That's the way story must progress..if there's another misunderstanding between ArHi now, the story will go back to square one! No movement...same thing all over again..😊
So the change must be in a different direction...However why do I feel that Shyam will also be doing some bhang talking in the next few episodes??😕

I think this question is more out of curiosity.😊
I was going to ask you the same thing actually...No running water or electricity supply...and no internet! 😛😆 Great analysis, by the way. I never realized there were so many clues until you mentioned it😳😊
