Super long day, so it's nice to see so many upbeat responses and a buoyant Sush 😃
I wanted more takraar, and boy, be careful what you wish for because you just may get it! Did not expect the infantile 4 years olds having water fights in a professional setting. Not sure what kind of successful tycoon ASR is or how he makes all that money! Clearly no one on this creative team has worked in any kind of professional setting! But I am a huge Tom and Jerry fan, so the I'll shrug and say What the Fiction!
The epi was tonally very odd... Khushi skipping merrily along, eating channa and demanding puri bhaji, acting as if she hadn't a care in the world. Isn't she locked in this mortal combat with her hubby on determining the truth that has changed her life? She suspects the cause of his ire is that she withheld info about her engagement to Shyam. Is this not a source of tension and anxiety? How is she skipping along giddily? The writing just made her seem weird and amnesiac, like she's is the one in the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind. Also where was her confidence coming from that Arnav will tell all? ---- he hasn't given a single indication that he is anywhere close to that. It was all very baffling to me.
Yes, Khushi looked pretty even in the hideous sari and ASR looked hot, all wet and furious. The thing that bothers me is that the show is simply pimping ASR --- they give us a bunch of sexy ASR scenes and hope we'll forget that he's behaving brutally and Khushi is still sleeping by the pool??? Does the creative team think we're all like Khushi ---- characters in the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind? 😕
This story needs an antagonist bad --- someone to create real tension and up the ante. I thought Shyam was back, but not so much. Maybe after Holi? --- seems like the show wants to flip the mood, all joyous for holi and doesn't care how much What the Fictionery is used.
