Wow I still can't get over the fact that you said you were 99 I love your posts and your sense of humor I do try and catch them whenever I possibly can. My favorite post is the codswallop one

The trouble is we all came to expect a certain attitude from ASR/Arnav which now we all feel sadly let down. Unfortunately this forum has been pretty good at nitpicking over Khushi's various antics and not so much on him (I am not referring to the usually fair-minded including you here) and to top it when you start seeing objectifying posts you kind of lose perspective and to be honest I also wrote this post on behalf of some members who did not want to point out this themselves as they were a bit apprehensive because of the backlash which I am sure you must have seen

Anyways it is going to be a long night for me as I plod through every reply and looking forward to your next post so much

We offended comments like ASR/BS fans section cant see beyond his looks.. As many of us being ASR/BS fans we have not liked the way ASR is shown now, we do not agree with the sleeping arrangements as well.. All we tried to say was mature and immature comments will be passed out from bth ASR/BS and KKG/SI fans, y blame the whole section for it as if all are brain dead bimbo's who cant see beyond looks.. Oh gosh Tangam thanks for those lovely words of affirmation, yes I guess it irks me too quite a bit being a woman and all. My worst fear they will brush aside all his nasty antics she will forgive him and they go to the next problem and all in one episode.

All in the name of Entertainment and after reading your take I so agree.

I do like this forum and its members but there are phases when it gets a bit too much and the support base for one character starts to get lopsided. But then life is never fair

By the way I admit I do shamelessly drool over Denzil- he is one of my favorite actors and have watched all his movies Great picture of him😊

Lol thanks for the compliment and is ok sometimes not everything is agreeable to all, I have never bothered over his pictures and in fact have enjoyed them many a time though not gone bonkers over them. The problem now is both Barun and Arnav have become this larger than life figures and praising or criticizing one inevitably leads to both of them being dragged into the picture as a unit. The pictures that are uploaded are not of Baruns but ASR so forgive me if I tend to react to the character. It is a different matter altogether if Baruns pictures separate from IPKKND was posted and I made a comment against that. I do wish people learn to differentiate the 2 Thanks once more for your reply

Yes she is an abusive situation as opposed to a few weeks back and that is what makes me feel all the more sad over the way this serial is heading. I cannot and I repeat I cannot wait for a change in his behavior soon

There is not a single word you have said in your post that I disagree with. But we do need to remind ourselves again and again and again that these characters are the clumsy and careless creation of a group of people, not even a single person. It is crystal clear to those who can see that they haven't a clue about what to do with this story. It is likely they don't even have a story but are making things up as they go along.

So please don't get worked up at the characters, what is the point. Having said that, it is entirely justified getting worked up about misrepresenting and glorifying domestic abuse and I think we definitely should protest. That message needs to go across to the makers of the show. I for my part have been posting against their portrayal of domestic abuse on the Star Plus website on an almost daily basis, but I don't think anyone from the channel or the show reads the comments, they probably just disappear into the ether. I even sent them an email but haven't heard back (surprise, surprise). If we feel so strongly about something we should do something about it, like submitting a petition. After all we have managed to come a long way from things like 'Sati' and child marriage.

As far as 'drooling' (of which I too am guilty to a certain extent) is concerned, again we are all human beings (at different levels of physical and intellectual maturity😊), Again I am sure the drooling is over the actors, but the down side to that is if someone is good looking, people are likely to interpret their actions in a favourable light and that is certainly worrying. In the case of this show it is not only the incredible handsomeness of the actor but the whole atmosphere, the sound effects and music and lighting that are meant to titillate the senses and if we do succumb to that, may be some more than others, it only shows that we are human.

If the CVs stop this unnecessary cruelty (by the way what does CV stand for?) and change Khushi's sleeping arrangements, and bring her back into the room, I am willing to be pacified. Even if she is made to sleep in a different room or even on the chaise, that is fine, although theoretically if that arrangement continues it should be classed as emotional abuse. I do hope they see the light of the day at least in this respect, I certainly don't have any hopes or expectations for anything sensible from them.

To bring the forum temperature down I would recommend watching 'The Artist'. My only advice don't buy any popcorn or nachos or any thing becoz the whole theatre will echo with your chomping.😊
