Howdy y'all I'm back! :D this is part 2 to to this part 1:

Khushi was tormented; she didn't know her payal-jiji was going to be brave enough to create a ruckus in front of everyone. While all the drama was happening she had felt his presence, it was like a soft breeze kissing her face and moving her hair, and that was the exact moment she looked up.

He hadn't noticed that she was looking up at him, he was too busy figuring out the turmoil that was happening before his eyes. But she had noticed, she had seen the confusion the hurt but what killed her spirit was the doubt. She saw doubt within his eyes and the moment of disbelief as if he was reflecting within the past and seeing what he thought he saw. His eyes told the story that she did not want to read. He did not trust her. She was broken, shattered, crushed.

She saw as he began to turn away from what was being revealed before him, as his steps begin to fall back and as he ran through the back door.

"Arnav" she called out

But her cry was fallen on deaf ears he had already gone.

It was hours after the argument that Khushi realised Arnav still hadn't come home. She was scared. She shouldn't have been but she was, she was scared that he had gone far far away from her and was not going to return soon enough for them to pick up where they left.

She got up from her place and begun pacing, her saree pallu busily being twiddled within her hands, she was frustrated with him, angry, hurt and in denial. Above the noise of her own frustrated thoughts she did not hear their bedroom door open but she felt his presence. This time it was not a soft breeze it was an angry cloud full of tension, full of hurt.

"Why didn't you tell me what that ass had done to you?" Arnav began

Khushi didn't turn straight away, relief touched her she was happy he was safe. But she didn't want him to know that, she wanted him to know how the hours went by for her knowing that he was out there in the cold, alone.

"I'm-

"I heard you Arnav" and she turned.

When she did turn she saw his fists clenched but when she looked up into his face she saw swollen eyes and tears that were dry, she saw the tears welling up again and leaped forward to stop him.

Hands cupping his face she began "Don't, I beg you, I've cried too much for the pair of us, what shyam done he done, but please I beg of you don't let him ruin what we had here"

"But the things-

"Shh" She wiped away his tears.

"No Khushi, I need to apologise. The things I said were, is wrong, you can't forgive me. I am sorry, I didn't-

Arnav could not finish his sentence. He tried to start what he was saying again but he couldn't, words were not forming, he wanted to but the emotions within him were too much to handle.

"Why do you hate me so Arnav? What mistake did I make other than love you?" There it was out she said it, she admitted her love for him, whether he choose to accept her love and make up for their relationship was up to him.

"Love? After all that? Khushi how can you-

"True love conquers all" She said whilst giggling, hoping just hoping her love would be returned

"Oh- Oh my god, this whole time you thought I hated you?" Arnav questioned. In frustration he ran his hands through his hair, paced to and thro while Khushi just looked on. He stopped. Confused Khushi looked up at him.

"You fool" He said "You beautiful fool" Saying that he bent down to kiss her.
