Anjali is way too complex than what appears outwardly. She may appear weak and clingy and weepy but has a mind of her own and knows how to pull strings in RM. A matriarch like Nani who was really angry and upset at Khushi and didn't even want to eat from her hands, talk to her or see her after the sudden marriage fiasco, would have continued her hostility towards Khushi for some more time if not for Anajli who quickly and deftly settled Khushi into RM as bahu and kept on helping her with all the material comfort like clothes, jewelry etc. But somewhere deep down she is terribly hurt for being left out of a major decision which her Chote took regarding his marriage and some aloofness, even coldness has crept in to her behavior with Khushi and even Arnav. It isn't as if she disapproves of her Chote's choice of bride but she feels betrayed like her husband has betrayed her. Her outcry while asking Arnav and Khushi about their sudden decision was more like her own husband's betrayal was being brought out in public. She felt equally humiliated like Arnav and Khushi. is it possible that since she knows her husband's truth, she accepted Khushi in Chote's life thinking of saving her own marriage and also protect Khushi from Shyam?

I'm not sure about whether Anjali heard the truth or not. She doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would pretend not to have heard such a life altering truth - but then, there's a lot of speculation as of now.

But you're right. She doesn't have a problem with Khushi. She has a problem with the way Khushi became Arnav's wife.

but she is in denial of changes that r taking place in surroundings..thats not the way of dealing with it!!!

Other fact is..arnav depends on her..she knows that..instead of being his strength ..she is always her weakness. If she is that positive why not making Arnav..positive and strong???

She should also pay equal or mroe attention to her husband..U know what..i am sure if CVs r planning to turn Shyam positive later on..they will show that how shyam is uncomfortable of anjali being living in RM..any husband will get frustrated..but shyam clearly stated he merried her for money..but he is shown happy with her until khushi enters..he seeks love in her..why not in Anjali..What defect she has..she is beautiful, has wealth and what not..but her mentality is horrible..her blind faith in rituals and what not..is suffocating..

sorry, i am stating my opinion..she is faking and in denial..if she is aware of this ..then she has no rights of destroying other innocent girl's life...thats big crime to me...thats selfish thing to do..thats true..if she is thinking khushi will bring love and happiness in arnav's life..fine..but reality has made khushi lost everything including her dignity...she is then equally part of redemption with Arnav..

Lets see..i am very positive about my suspicion and this twist...that Anjali knows and she is faking and in denial that her husband is after another girl..she is not able to digest that and she is holding on to Shyam by pregnancy..

I couldn't have to put this in any better words.

Arnav and Anjali live for each other, whether they admit it or not, each others happiness matters to the other, one can never see the other one in pain. Everything always comes down to Anjali and Arnav's relationship, they are each others life lines.

When Anjali's accident happened she was more scared of losing Chote than anyone else. She had to live for him because if he lost her or she lost him, they would both stop living. Anjali isn't the only one that holds on for dear life, Arnav holds on to her as well because he needs her in his life, she is the only person that knows what emotions he is going through. She is mad at him for getting married because he broke her trust but if he is happy she will be happy.

They have both been a constant in each others life... They can both leave the world behind but they can't leave each other. Nothing matters more to them than each other and no relationship they have with anyone else will change this fact.

Edit: Forgot to add this, but they both cry only for each other... Anjali when Arnav has hurt her and Arnav when he found out something terrible is going to happen to his di.

The dependancy they have on each other seems unhealthy but with everything that they have been through I don't think they can ever let anyone in the way they have let each other in. Anjali maybe all into God and Arnav might be all practical but that is what balances them out, Arnav giving Anjali a dose of reality and Anjali telling Arnav it is ok to believe.

You just summed up their relationship in better words than I did

Like you said - they're each other's lifelines. If either of them breaks, then so will the other.

They make sense together as brother and sister and Anjali isn't as Naive and annoying as everyone thinks, everyone forgets that she has gone through the same trauma as Arnav she just has dealt with it differently then him, that doesn't make her any different to him.
