Her husband has been emotional cheating on her, and if he could then he would even do the physical deed.. When the show started he was hardly around, and was always at 'work' yet he never had much money on him.. When Khushi used to work for the Raizada's he always enquired about her, is she coming today, when is she coming, how comes she didn't come, she should get sacked, they shouldn't trust her blah blah blah, he was just obsessed about her.. He's hardly effectionate with her, he's always wandering around the house instead of being with her, doesn't show her much love yet she keeps running after him..
All these things happen to her and yet she doesn't seem to realise that her husband is at fault, that he is the cause of EVERYONE'S pain.. She doesn't realise that her husband is more interested in another girl than her, that her husband is too busy for her, and even when he is in the same room as her his attention is elsewhere, honestly how stupid can she be??
Both shyam and anjali are to blame for the situation Arnav and Khushi are in..
If shyam wasn't so obsessed with Khushi, Arnav wouldn't have to take drastic action to save his sister's relationship..
And if Anjali wasn't so fragile and vulnerable he could've told her the truth and put an end to all this fiasco.. I know people are saying that he should've given anjali the chance to decide what she wants as we're in the modern era and women have the right to make their own choices, but seriously, would you tell your sister the truth about her disgusting husband, if you thought she might lose her life??? Would you even take the risk of harming her health? Would you risk losing the only person who has been by your side all your life?
If Anjali wasn't so stupid and could see her husband's truth she could end everyone's pain.. Arnav's, Khushi's, and the Gupta's pain along with the Raizada's pain..
As much as I love the brother sister relationship Arnav and Anjali have it is also the only reason Arnav cannot think rationally.. If Shyam wasn't his sister's husband, he might've even trusted Khushi, but since his sister is involved he cannot even think properly, as she means the world to him and he'd do anything for her, and this has been emphasised since the beginning of the serial..
