Hello my fellow Arhians. Long time no see !!! Ya about that :S I'm so sorry in the delay in updating. Stress at uni has damaged my imagination and somewhat already limited creativeness. So this OS is for all those of you wonderful people who've wanted me to write a continuation of my previous OS "Kushi and Arnav's Baby" so this is part 2 of that. But but but..this is 24 years later !!!😉

24 Years Later
Arnav Singh Raizada, was very close, to ripping someone's head off. If someone else was going to ask him which saree colour would suit them the best one more time, he was going to get up, gather all these sarees laid out in front of him and burn them to the ground. He didn't even have time to finish his murderous train of thought before he heard a very sweet and lyrical female voice asking him the very same question he had just decided would send him into a saree murdering frenzy. He looked up from the article he was reading to the circle of women gathered around a pile of sarees and jewellery. However when he realized that it was his daughter that had asked him that question, his entire demeanour changed instantly. Gazing adoringly at his beautiful daughter, he was jolted that his baby girl was asking him which saree would suit her on her wedding.
Shifting his gaze to the saree that his daughter was holding up for his inception, he tried picturing her with that colour. " No Anaya, that colour won't accentuate your features. You have your mother's light-coloured complexion. Why don't you go for a very bright and expressive colour ? Perhaps red, orange or pink ?"
Anaya gazed at her father lovingly. She always knew that he knew what she loved and didn't . He was the only one who could judge her feelings and moods based on her silent actions. Even her innocent mother wasn't able to figure her out at times. She was just too complex; just too much like the great Arnav Singh Raizada. Even though she knew that the dark maroon saree wouldn't look good on her, she had still chosen it just too gauge her daddy's opinions, which were spot on. Smiling at her father, she replied " Okay Papa, I'll try to find something else". Anaya went back to searching through the hundreds of fancy and expensive sarees her father had ordered to be brought to her.
Arnav was about to go back to the article on ASR Dynasty, when he noticed his two sons come in and plop themselves on the couch. Neither were amused by the sight of numerous clothing and women in the middle of their living room. Realizing that he wouldn't be able to finish this article today, he threw it on the coffee table in front of him and regarded his sons patiently, waiting for them to start speaking. Arnav knew that they wouldn't be able to hold their thoughts to themselves for too long. When it came to patience, they were very similar to their mother; which meant they had very little of it.
His eldest son, Ajay Arnav Singh Raizada, began his tirade. Looking at his sister, he asked " Didi, why do you want to get married so soon?"
His youngest one, Arjun ASR, followed suit in exasperation " Hell, why do you even want to get married ? I still think you should cancel this wedding !!!"
Arnav tried to his amusement. His sons, Ajay and Arjun, ages 23 and 21 respectively, were extremely protective and possessive of their older sister. Even though their sister was 24 , to them , their sister was still a child and thus, not marriageable. Truth be told, they loved their sister dearly and just couldn't stand to be apart from her. And therefore, the prospect of seeing their sister married and go off to live with her husband and in-laws was a bitter pill to swallow for them.
Kushi, who had been huddled over a rose coloured saree, stood up in annoyance. " Don't you two start again. You're sister has to be married. She can't always live here you know. There must come a day when she has to leave "
Arnav raised his eyebrows at his wife, who looked absolutely gorgeous with her black hair spilling over shoulders and rested right above her tiny waist. Even at the age of 46, his wife was a sight to behold. He trailed his eyes down to her luscious pink lips and had an urge to kiss her senseless. Even though it had been 26 years since they had married, 25 years since they had consummated their beautiful relationship, and 24 years since their precious Anaya was born, the irreplaceable and all-consumable passion was still there. Just looking at the flushed body of his wife sent his body up in flames. Oh how he wanted a taste of her right now and there. His sensual thoughts were put on stand-still when she turned her blazing black eyes on him and demanded " Arnav, please make them understand. These two are being so childish and unreasonable "
With that, his wife marched into the kitchen. Anaya, wanting to cool down their mother, followed suit but not before giving both her brothers a kiss and a much needed embrace. She hastily added " You guys know how much Amma is excited for my marriage. Why do you guys have to rile her up ?" She looked down sternly at her brothers but still her eyes held the love and loyalty she felt towards her two siblings " By the way you two, how many times do I have to tell you that I actually want to get married ? That I actually love Harshad and can't wait to start our life together. Please try to understand " With that she ran off after their mother.
Arnav got up and even at the age of 52, he was an imposing figure that caused others to tremble in fear and nervousness at his nearness. Towering over his two sons who sat looking glum, he ordered in a deathly calm voice " You two, my room , in 5 minutes !!"

Arnav sat in his favourite recliner and watched his sons pace back and forth, pretty sure that they were about to leave a trail in his carpet. He was amused at how much they were like their mother. They were fiercely loyal to those that they loved and overtly protective of their dear ones. They both had a mutual obsession over their mother's jalebis which unfortunately Anaya couldn't enjoy since she was also diabetic. Like their mother, they had very swift mood swings; they can go from being extremely happy, joyful and playful to suddenly very quiet, angry and distant. But at the end of the day, his sons were still Raizadas; what they wanted, they went for !!!
Even though their personalities were similar to Kushi's, they took after their father in looks. Yes, his sons were the spitting image of their father; lean yet muscular, well past 6 feet and tanned. On the other hand, Anaya had her mother's looks and beauty, except for the fact that she was also tall like her father. Feeling a sense of pride at how well their children had turned out, Arnav asked them in an amused voice " How many miles do you think you two have walked since you two have started pacing ? I believe it must be 2.4 miles !"
Both Arjun and Ajay turned to look at their father and went to sit in front of him, on the leather sofa that was placed in front of his recliner.
Ajay started " Papa, does she have to get married now ? Can't she wait another 4 years ?"
Arjun gazed at his father with the same question.
Realizing his attempt at humour went unnoticed, Arnav sat straight and regarded his sons with a stern expression. First he addressed his eldest, " Ajay, your sister is not being forced into a marriage. On the contrary she chose when and whom she wanted to marry. She's happy, excited and delighted about it . Thus it's only fair that by being her brothers, you share her feelings ! But if you can't be happy for her then at least don't ruin hers "
Arjun looked startled and announced " Papa, you know we'd never want to ruin our own precious sister's happiness. We love her too much and it is that love that we have for her which makes it hard for us to accept the fact that she's all grown up, a woman and ready to start her own family. "
"By starting her own family, it does not mean that she'll forget this one Beta " announced Kushi as she came in with a plate of freshly made pakoras and jalebis. Anaya followed suit with her specialty ; Tim Horton like coffees . Kushi took her rightful place beside her husband and interlocked her fingers with his. Anaya went and sat in between her brothers ; the two pillars that would forever be her protectors even after their parents leave this world'together.
Arnav looked at his family. Blissfully content, he decided help his sons by being honest with them. Looking at Kushi, who's love for him was shining brightly just like it did the day 25 years ago, he started talking " Sons, I don't know what I can say that will make you see the bright side of your sister's decision. She's a 24 year old woman and she's made her decision. As her parents, your mother and I have made sure that Harshad Khurana and his parents, Maan and Geet Khurana, are good people. They're a wonderful family who'll treasure your sister. As her parents that's all we could've hoped for. " Arnav squeezed his wife's hand for support.
Kushi looked on at her husband and knew how difficult it must be for him to expose his vulnerability, even to his own children. She remembered how he'd flown into a rage when Anaya had first announced that she was in love with Harshad, son of Maan Singh Khurana and heir to the Khurana Constructions. She had only seen that rage emoted a couple of times from Arnav before throughout their lifetime together; when he had come upon Shyam Jha trying to rape her and when he had been told that his sister, was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago. It had taken a lot of time to prevent her husband from trying to wring out Harshad's neck for seducing his daughter's heart. The poor man had had a near heart attack when his daughter had announced that she was ready for marriage. Even though Kushi knew her husband thought that their sons were like her, the truth was that all of their children were like their father. Arnav had been so shocked that his little baby, who at 6 months would stay awake for her daddy's arrival from work, was now all grown up. It had taken her husband a lot of coercion, and placating to finally make him understand that he had to let go of his baby girl go. But Kushi had enjoyed making him realize that; it had involved a lot of late night sweaty and passionate love making. Even though they were both 46 and 52 respectively, when it come to sex, they were still young which meant that her husband would do anything during those moments.
Coming out her trance, Kushi realized that Arnav had finished discussing with Ajay and Arjun. She looked at their faces and laughed at their childishness. All three of her children got up and made their way out the door. But she still heard some of their whispers and smiled.
Ajay looked at his sister and claimed " You know, its because of those Star Plus shows that you and Amma watch that caused us to worry. All those evil saas-bahu dramas where the good daughter-in law would get tortured and all ".
Arjun shuddered and further added " You forgot to mention those Ekta shows Bhai. Man !!! The amount of weddings and affairs one person can go through makes you wander whether true love really exists ".
Anaya who had been hearing their arguments in amusement started laughing hysterically. Men !!! she thought to herself. Sobering up, she turned around and gazed in the direction of their parents; the great business tycoon Arnav Singh Raizada and the chirpy and innocent sweet shop girl from Lucknow, Kushi Kumari Gupta (now ASR). They sat looking at the poolside, smiles dancing on their lips. Their mother's head rested on their father's shoulders and they noticed that their father covered their mother's petite hands in his giant ones. The love, peace and passion that surrounded them seemed to create an image and their kids could see how their parents were, 25 years ago. Pointing her fingers at their parents, Anaya answered her brothers in a tearful voice " True love does exist !!!"
😃Hope you guys like it !!! With all the uproar nowadays in the forum, this is just an OS to inspire positivity. Remember guys, this forum isn't about Arnav Singh Raizada or Kushi Kumari Gupta/Kushi Arnav Singh Raizada. Its about Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon ! Its about Arnav and Kushi'about ARHI !!!
