Well it is maha shivratiri.

It is a belief in Hindus that a husband should be like Shiva known for his intense love and ironically his intense anger.

There are myths in which in his anger he burnt down his wife parvati with his third eye and he then repented so much he took anther birth as a fisherman to woo her back.

So every Hindu girl is asked to pray for a husband like Shiva. Khushi perhaps has that as Arnav who burns her with rage and then loves her just as deeply.

JUst a random thought.

Nice one Rima -- we do have the parallel in IPKKND.

Remember that the Natraj joined Khushi's DM -- that was when they started getting together

Now DM and Nataraj are separated... only a while till Natraj is rejoined to DM --- maybe after Arnav's anger cools :-)

Though am not Hindu by religion...i happened to read 'Immortals of Meluha'...after that i found a lot of similarities between Shiv and Arnav...especially the anger, intense love, determination...the list goes on...

but one thing you said that Shiv would burn down his wife...well i dont know about that...it sounds too scary infact...
