Pondering here followed by some pontifications so please bear with me as I muse.
The storyline taking a turn where Khushi is caught up in a short term contract marriage rendering her a sorry victim in the machinations and manipulations of a very angry and rather misled young man!
The marriage materialised based on blackmail.
A union made in blind fury and revenge. One upmanship springs to mind with a sacificial lamb at the altar. Astonishing part is the victim succumbed without any questions asked nor any being offered other than the threat of a marriage suspension for the second time!
I am saddened someone can and has made a life altering decision baselessly and is still in the dark with only half truths as explainations for an unsavoury union. I credited Khushi's young character with intelligence alongside her fiestyness ( does this word even exist? O well it does now).
Will the marriage crush the combination of naivety, innocence, maturity from unexpected quarters and her vehemence for standing up to rights and wrongs at all cost.
Will she be subdued hurt, uncertain, unsure of her standing in this contract marriage berated by all in sundry and victimised.
Or will she rise from the ashes like Phoenix and not be delusional , defend herself and defy all those who are unjust and inflicting such injustice on a young maiden's hopes, dreams and possible fairy tale romance she had harboured.
The main culprit in this scenario of course is her new husband who has trampled and crushed her aspirations...especially one she had hoped with him and him likewise his dreams with her.
He took away everything she is and her beliefs. Sad. Sad.
So we now stand at the crossroads of this couple...starting with a farce of a marriage, general disapproval of a long line of relatives on both sides, a needy soemtimes rather intrusive sister, a leary, lecherous toad of a brother in law alongside a wimpy brother and his new wife who is hapless and useless.
As for the Guptas words fail me. Unholy! Unabashed! Ungrateful to the core! If there is to be a funeral I am sure I shan't miss Garima! Not one iota. Vile creature.
As musings go my thoughts are with NK...please stay we need some light relief!
Dark days, grief , tears and dramas of vast proportions are beckoning on the horizon.
I for one await with baited breath!
I shall cease now no doubt I have bored the pants off of some of you.
On that note ...Happy Sunday one and all

Hi ,

I read your post and no doubt I feel horrible for young innocent girl..who got into this mess for no mistake of hers..but I dont think that her husband is all that much responsible as Fate and destiny is - for all this..Well before just accusing Arnav here at this point of time..Lets look at the situation in present of him.. to all the events that he went through before making this decision. He doesnt know that khushi is innocent and is in love with him.He thinks she loves shyam and as per shyam between him and khushi only one problem is there and that is Anjali..I think that Arnav has just bought sum time for himself..before exploding the truth to Anjali...and as per destroying a girl's life for sake of his sister..he is destroying his life too...and after this agreement is over for him khushi can always go back to shyam.(according to him at this point in story) .As far as khushi's character is shown in this story..I believe she is strong and intelligent woman beneath that innocent bubbly chirpy girl..She will try to get to bottom of the situation here and may be will make arnav realise that she is innocent and then we will see repentance on Arnav's part..As said in earlier posts also..Arnav and khushi will act as team and defeat Shyam and his motives..Till then we have to go with all rona dhona scenes...

Thank you for your post . That maybe true about ASR not knowing the situation between Shyam and Khushi. Instead of listening to both sides he chose not to! Subsequently he made his blackmialing demands on Khushi knowing only half truths. He has been wrong about her so very many times in the past. He has come to know the girl and yet he based his decision unjustly without giving her a chance to put forward her case. Contary to his claims and boasts he did not use his brains. He was governed and led by anger therefore foregoing logical thought. Logical thought demands exercising one's brain cells. And who is he to make judgement calls on Khushi's future? Use and abuse her and discard her like a piece of rag. She is a vulnerable human being with emotions and feelings

No doubt she was cajoled into an engagement with Shyam. It was hardly a marriage based on love. ASR and Khushi had unacknowledged feelings for each other but that was not what this short term marriage contract was borne out of

The marriage materialised based on blackmail.
This is the part I hate the most. We were looking forward to a marriage even if it was a contract but it had to be a decision from both sides. This was pure blackmail and even though I love ASR, with this one act, he dropped a few notches (in fact many notches) for me especially since he was responsible for Payal previous marriage break-up and had apologised to her for it. He has to do a lot more intelligent thinking in the coming episodes for me to like him again!
A union made in blind fury and revenge. One upmanship springs to mind with a sacificial lamb at the altar. Astonishing part is the victim succumbed without any questions asked nor any being offered other than the threat of a marriage suspension for the second time!
Here I don't agree with you. She was not allowed to speak. She was not given a chance. There was very little time to take a decision. I was relieved that she atleast tried saying no 3 times!
I am saddened someone can and has made a life altering decision baselessly and is still in the dark with only half truths as explainations for an unsavoury union. I credited Khushi's young character with intelligence alongside her fiestyness ( does this word even exist? O well it does now).

I am certainly hoping she rises like Phoenix and doesn't take his crap quietly. I want to see the girl who shoved him at the Guest House, the girl who had him speechless when she tendered her resignation. If gets depressive and all sacrificing like other SPs female leads, I quit the show
The main culprit in this scenario of course is her new husband who has trampled and crushed her aspirations...especially one she had hoped with him and him likewise his dreams with her.
His sister needs to stop being so clingy and emotional or show us why she is that way. How did she lose her leg? How Shyam came into her life? After Shyam, she is now becoming the character I hate!😡
As for the Guptas words fail me. Unholy! Unabashed! Ungrateful to the core! If there is to be a funeral I am sure I shan't miss Garima! Not one iota. Vile creature.
I want Garima to die. Hope Shyam kills her and then he is put away for life!😡
As musings go my thoughts are with NK...please stay we need some light relief!
NK is my darling. He is the only one who has always put Khushi first and treated her right. He always tries to make her smile by even trying to make a joke of himself. He was our comic relief. Now there will be no comedy for a long time. BTW, Laxmi cracked a joke when everyone gathered to congraluate Anjali.😆
Dark days, grief , tears and dramas of vast proportions are beckoning on the horizon.
I for one await with baited breath!
I hope the crying and melodrama doesn't exceed 2-3 episodes. It can go back to life as usual in RM and the fights and sparring in the bedroom between the leads. If it is a dark and depresisng track for the next week or more, then I will be so depressed that I will switch to Hitler Didi or maybe back to Balika Vadu. I hope Nani and Anjali accept Khushi as they were rooting for her to marry their chotte. Also, hope they realise that their chotte actually made decisions on live-in, engagement in 1 day and breaking up with La without their approval. So marriage to Khushi suddenly had to be his idea. I hope Payal doesn't snub Khushi. If she knows her sister well, she will know there is a reason for her marriage decision, which she cannot share.
I shall cease now no doubt I have bored the pants off of some of you.
On that note ...Happy Sunday one and all

Thank you nimid for your kind words but most of all your response.
Here I don't agree with you. She was not allowed to speak. She was not given a chance. There was very little time to take a decision. I was relieved that she atleast tried saying no 3 times!
Agreed she did and it was such a reprieve and I hope he remembers that in future once apeasement reigns over them.
There is something rather sychophantic about Anjali and her unhealthy neediness. Unpalatable.
Garima, less said the better otherwise I might have recurrent indigestion!
LOL@ Laxmi cracking a joke.
Lets hope the drama is condensed and we can move on to the comprehension, understanding and acceptance of this marriage. Although I hope Khushi will be given the platform by ASR to put her case forward and he begs for her forgiveness on bended knees!
The Guptas really leave me cold! I find them cruel self centred and selfish to boot
