I too don't like anyone questioning , taunting, humiliating Women necessarily ...but here I would be very surprised if Mami does not make use of he situation to her advantage ...She has to taunt them , her each barbs not just hurting Khushi but arnav indirectly too ... Sathya, Doodz, Shanti: In all this chaos she did not give him away, she kept quiet as if she was an equal participant in this Decision.

Will Arnav think about all that when he cools down, she did not give me away even when she was getting badgered and slapped, that should count for something right.

Oh and some BPs from my side (Bakwas Predictions from my side - More Like Wishlist):😆

1. The first slap, he kept quiet, the second or almost slap from Bua, he won't keep quiet. He better NOT. He will blast them off and tell Khushi:

Go to OUR Room and she looks at him confusedly and he says Go to my Room Now. 😳

If he leaves her standing alone facing both the families, uski toh khair nahin😡😆

2. I am guessing Guptas would disown her, R family will give her cold treatment for couple of episodes (based on the spoilers) and he will be FORCED to defend and fight for her right place in the family.She is his wife, He put her in this position, So He will.👍🏼

3.Guptas come to Raizada house, Khushi tries to talk to them, they ignore her, she is very upset, he sees that from a distance, she does not tell him anything, he goes and tells them:

I don't care if you don't talk to your daughter, In Raizada house, MY HOUSE, when my wife talks to you, the eldest Raizada Bahu talks to you, Payal's Jethani talks to you, I EXPECT you all to talk and be nice to her.👍🏼

4.Arnav at Gupta House when he realizes the Guptas have still not come around and are ignoring Khushi and BLASTS them.

I forced her to marry because of Shyam. You should not have let her handle such a critical issue. You as elders should have talked to Nani or me. She is suffering because of you, Treat her nice, accept her back or else...?

@ Shwetha: you got what you wanted...poor Khushi got slapped 😭 And though Arnav behaved like I had thought he would, I did not like that scene.

and @ Doods "But this day she didn't come to fight against Dowry but instead she became the "DOWRY"" i loved this line..just amazing..and the symbolist u bring...aah..can't express how i relish each new interpretation..

and as for the ASR can't elpoe, n nt his character...hm..i dnt know..if Khushi can't elope as it is against her very being is true i guess this might not be so unfeasible..
anyway actually i think he did this in secret and only revealed when it was too late for anyone to do anything about it was cz, not his family, but had Khushi's family made any objections abt the date, postponing or anything..he just wanted to put a stop to all the complications..
also we don't exactly know how the marriage happened..Khushi is wearing the marriage symbols, that much is true, but we DON'T yet know what happened at the mandir..how everything played out or anything..
also i think the traditional marriage symbols were more for the benefit of Khushi & Shyam..not for himself..he needed to impress upon Khushi she was his for 6 months as well as Shyam that she was permenantly his(these symbols screamed louder than any marriage certificate could ever have..) well just my impression for him taking this route..

anyway i'm exhilarated by this track and waiting for everything to unravel
