actually i think Guptas were atleast to realize and supposed to ask what's wrong n y she was in so much tension. there is always some thing wrong with their realization. she has been in so much tension at the time of shayam's problem but no one bothers that she doesn't like him and don't want to get engaged with him. it was only payel who was concerned. now as she was a bride and might not be able to think more than her husband and wedding but the others were supposed to realize and ask atleast once.
