@Sorcha

Thank you and couldn't agree more! I see more histrionics going on here than in Telly land

@Krani

Great piece of reasoning😊 and yes I do agree who and what a person stands for is more important than anything else.

@Hessa 85

Thank you so much and that is what the track is heading for with the video tape presumably holding the key to her innocence and like you wrote we are very much heading up to the hill of tried and tested formulas and it irks me no end that the blame falls on one (read woman) and the other will then be made to feel like a heel after the truth is out( read man). I like both of them and don't want to see a clichd scenario where she first pays for the sin and then he ends up all contrite and then we have a convenient contrived ending. Let it be different CV's you hearing?

@Fairy...That was an impressive post. Very much delighted to see the Fire:-))
Agree with ur angst..in either way..towards the show n few members .IF they butcher the character of Khushi.Coz in this whole TUG of war between Lust( Shyam) n Love( Arnav)... The rag doll is getting shredded .I want the fiery, feisty Khushi...who had a mind of her own , a voice of self ..with beliefs rock solid,no matter she was coming from a very middle class family where girls are made to be shushed.She had a spunk...which I definitely don't want to be spoofed.
I really hope , like u sed the LM clan...doesn't deteriorate "Khushi" the character...who we and " Arnav" fell for.😊

@ashvez

Thank you 😊and looking at some of the new articles and spoilers it looks like we are going to see her just about finished in spirit and character. Yes she will recover after the truth is out but at what price? Will we still want to root for her to get it on with Arnav? I know that trust love and faith go hand in hand in any relationship be it family friends or romance but is extracting a heavy toll from one person a way to build trust I have serious misgivings over the way the story is going to unfold but will wait and see as indications from the production house seem to indicate that something not run of the mill will take place else I can always come here and rant.

The way I see it now is everthing is going against her right now and then later it will go against him as the truth comes out and that certainly is not conducive for any relationship to have that much of imbalance

Let's just say hypothetically a post is started to maybe critique a particular trait or failing in a character and all the right words and expressions are used and it seems alright on the face of it. Then slowly the tone of the post starts changing by virtue of just one person posting a provocative remark which receives the approval of some members and then another takes that as a sign to carry further and soon some of the most insane nonsense is coming out of that topic and right before you could say Jack Robinson spinoffs over that particular topic soon floods the forum and parroting the same gibberish as everyone wants to be the first to bring down a character that they particularly don't care for. It can be a tiresome experience not to mention draining to see one copy post after another of the same nonsense.

Everybody has a right to express their opinions and yes one can show their like or dislike but when it starts to be just acidic vitriol pouring out with sniggers and attacks of a personal nature on a character even if it is fictional then it is another matter. All I ask is that we can all agree to disagree over the serial without going overboard in our reactions and yes if tomorrow I come across a nasty post against the male protagonist you will also find me defending him.

@laddoo598

Thank you and your take on the daily episodes are something I really enjoy reading and you are absolutely unbiased in your reviews. On days when I am not able to catch or understand the episode properly I manage to figure out by reading your post.

The CVs wanted an MU track and IMO they made Khushi behave out of character very conveniently for the same..Why can't we just leave it at that? Questioning her character and integrity just because of one poorly executed scene is ridiculous!

Hear! Hear!👏

And am hoping the track plays out like you have written and yes there is a fine line between the lunatics and the fanatics. Honestly I have never defended anyone so much in my life as I doing here over the pointless tearing to bits of one character😊

@solembaum

Brilliant and well said Bravo! I did not want to add to your analysis

He is the most wordly wise, totally cynical person around.. who loves his Di to death and still couldn't figure out what kind of person he was getting his Di married to? forget figuring out at that point... even after 3 years he still hadn't figured out👏

A point very well made!

yes dear i totally agree that sometimes ppl do go overboard. i am always 4 more human leads. not the OH so perfect sari clad mannequins shown in some serials. forgive me but somehow i dread that now tat the marriage track has started the cvs may morph her into a typical STAR VAHU. frantically praying that it s'd not happen. i like the fact that kushi makes mistakes. i ve only 2 concerns:

1. in the show the cvs never show kkg ponder over her mistakes & learn frm it. thats where i ve been saying that the cvs ve slippped up.
2. sometimes i get a glimpse of the typical STAR I AM ALWAYS RIGHT BAHU in kkg where she claims tat whatever she does 2 quote harry potter series is FOR THE GREATER GOOD. typical egs being meddling in asr-la relationship, gatecrashing party, always being an univited prop 2 that wet socks payal etc. i just want them 2 reduce this thats bt it.

i ve never attacked her character, never minded her harmless flirting. yes i dont like loud, OTT women but then as already rightly pointed out i ve the option of flipping channel or hitting the MUTE button. problem solved 😃

and yeah ppl in the forum who obviously r educated, ve net access etc may not ve regressive thinking. but believe me the ordinary women-folks who watch hindi soaps do ve these thoughts. if u ve a look at the trp charts u ll understand. so thats STAR's not so subtle strategy 2 make their soaps popular. the lead ll b supposedly sanskari, know all customs/traditions & ll b a mother theresa. i just hope my favourite show IPKKND the only indian soap that i watch doesnt go down the same drain 😭

Hi, I am sorry but I really do not agree with what's written in the paragraph above.

Some people may follow the thinking stated above, but I am sure I speak for most members when I type this.

We did not hate Lavanya because she wore skimpy dresses and did not know much about the culture.

NK does not even know Hindi properly - do we hate him? No.

The reason there was an animosity against Lavanya was because she was portrayed as a character who was not particularly nice to Khushi. She started off as someone who was mean, and this naturally brought on the dislike towards her.

But she changed, and she became nicer. Did we still hate her? No. The moment she changed for the better, the forum sympathised with her.

It was the channel's and the CVs decision to change her clothes. However the Indian clothes did not sprout our love for her.

Likewise, we do not love Khushi because she knows the culture, is obedient and wears Indian clothes.
There have been protagonists in the past in different serials, who have worn Western Clothing, and everyone have loved them.

We love Khushi for who she is. Not what she wears

She is a fun-loving, bubbly, fiery, moralistic, honest girl. She does not take shit from people, but at the same time she is considerate of others' feelings.

And I don't understand why Khushi needs to learn how to speak English, wear dresses to get people's respect?
She has my respect for who she is - even though she can't speak English, not educated and does not wear dresses. And I am not saying that I love her because she is those things. I am saying that I love her despite her not being able to speak English, not being educated and not wearing dresses.

hey u misunderstood me. if asr likes her who am i 2 comment. wat i meant was instead of showing her agreeing 2 a forced hate marriage & then become a martyr BAHU & BIWI i w'd prefer 2 c a stronger Kushi who tells arnav clearly wat happened (of course she needs 2 tie & gag him 1st since he may not listen 2 her). if he doesnt believe walk out with her head held high, get educated, get a job & b independent. make the guy follow u & woo u back 😃 dear sadly whether u like it or not in today's world english is a MUST 2 get a well paying job. hence my suggestion. i am not snobbish just being practical!
