He cannot hate her. He will be furious with her for not trusting him with such an important thing. He might think her as selfish for putting her sister's marriage ahead of hers, but he won't hate her.

Even if he thinks worst of her, how will he explain to himself what Shyam did?

The Guptas have never hid the fact that she was engaged to their PG who was Shyam and who had been staying with them for 8 months.

Tally that with Shyam's frequent absence.

The family knows Khushi met Shyam ONLY on Satyanarayan pooja.

Arnav knows Khushi broke down that day and it was something related to her fiancee.

How will Shyam explain his lies, actions for the past 8 months.

My guess is: After a while he will realize that Khushi is as much a victim as Anjali is.

He can't send her away cos then there is no stopping Shyam from hu nting her down and ASR will not be there to protect her.

If he does get married to her, it will be because it will ensure Khushi is out of bound for Shyam with the whole family watching even if they do not know the actual truth till he figures out a way to deal with Shyam.

The marriage will buy him time to deal with Shyam at the sametime Protecting Khushi and Anjali will be protected by Arhi & Payash.

Who knows, ASR might not let Shyam know that he is on to him (I am actually hoping for that) so the mind games can begin.

Dunno how much of a sense I made here. Marriage will happen cos he wants to marry her and to protect her and not a typical hate marriage. He may or may not tell Khushi his reasons for it.

@Shwetha! - I am with you - that's why I said 'try to hate' but we all know he can't unlove her. He is going to be in a lot of pain. And I also feel that the marriage will result in him taking a rash decision and last minute one in how to preserve Anjali until he figures out what to do with Shyam and to make sure she is out of reach of Shyam by making her unavailable. While we the viewers are aware of all the reasons that Khushi is innocent in all of this - all those incidents can be spun a different way that would make ASR doubt Khushi - initially - eventually he will listen to his heart. So I guess I agree with you - and the fact that we will need hella kleenex.

@meera - Khushi is innocent of wrong doing, she was being used by Shyam - we know that - but does ASR??? At the very least, he is in the right to feel betrayed for a while - and betrayal not only for Khushi keeping Shyam's truth from him but also depending on what he hears and when, betrayal of a lover. This last part she will not realize because she is naive still about the dhak dhak. If ASR must apologize for his rage - Khushi must realize what a mistake it was to keep this quiet. It is again, her only thinking with emotions. The consequences are that now - a lot more people will be hurt and a lot more is at stake. This has to be a wake up call for her.

Sorry, It is just that since the past 24 hours i have read a lot of posts on hate, hate track, hate marriage, totally missed the try to hate part.😆

He will be in pain, she will be in pain, he will cry, she will cry, We all will cry😭 for some time.

Then I am sure ASR will be 😎😈😡 on Shyam.

My guess is with Nani & Anji breathing down his neck unaware of Shyam's truth and the fact that like you said after initial anger, he will realize he will have to protect both of them, so the marriage will appear to be a rash one.

But after some time, he will thaw, sense will prevail and the fun begins and Project Dhulaai Shyam begins.

I am hoping Babuji gives some hint about Shyam to Arnav, let us see.

So long as they avoid the cliches, writing is good, we are in for a good ride. Acting wise SARUN will rock, so pretty excited about the coming track.😃
