This was in response to a Serialjunkie's response I believe.
s much as we would love to have A-K in all scenes, the fucntioning of daily soaps on a practical level doesnt work that way. We need to deliver twenty two minutes of product every night five days a week keeping in mind the locations, shoot feasibility, bank of script and shoot, actor availability, other events, etc. Which is why we balance and provide you all with a mixed platter so that its spread over evenly so.
Every situation/ character is a catalyst in the story to move ahead. Akash and Payal's rishta and their marriage events got these two closer, they even got together to get A and P together, NK was again a catalyst to stir jealousy in A and K.
What you want about ASR to be and of what Khushi to be happens, would happen slowly. And villain, misunderstandings, drama, suspense, thrill, chill, etc is all going to be used for getting them close. In the first episode if he had not misunderstood her and if she had not started hating him while at work place, then the softening would not have been fun- what you see/ saw of them over time. WOuld it have been fun if in the first ep, she fell in his arms and he fell in love at first sight? ISnt it more fun the way you NOW see it? You feel like they have EARNED it! Obstacles would continue to be, but their relationship would always have moments of pain and passion.
Chill, we know what you all mean, but every decision taken has its science behind. And its a team decision of a lot of people.
