Ok..i had another thought. I dont know if you all have discussed this already but I have been thinking about it since yesterday.

What if Shyam's dad had an affair with ASR's mom, then killed her because she wouldnt take it further because she wanted to protect her children? And then he shot himself? Enter Shyam who wants revenge for his father's death. he also grew up watching his dad have an extra marital affair, so he thinks he it is perfectly fine for him to lust after Khushi too. Wouldnt that explain some stuff?
