Of course, Shyam saved her from goons and followed her to Delhi and moved in with Buaji coz she was open and friendly at that point. Right again. Bang on. Also, there are SO many instances of her being open and friendly with Shyam. SO MANY! I just love people who blame women when men lust after them - they are right!

On an unrelated note, I'm compiling examples of blinder-clad, biased fans of actors/actresses being illogically one-track-minded about characters, so I should get out of this unbiased thread and look elsewhere.e

As for SA men being molly coddled by mothers and told of their superiority over women, its ironic that women play that role do it unto themselves. I agree, I have met many many aunties who think their sons are God's gift to humanity. While I am an only child and was raised as a son by my parents, I could never see eye to eye with some of my classmates and colleagues over this.

Infact, one of my now best friends was raised by such a mother and after interacting with me for 4 years of college, he told me that I helped him look at girls in a totally different light. He never thought girls could be independent and their world does not revolve around guys alone. So yeah, in that respect I agree with you, I truly hope I raise my son to respect women and he has a great role model at home, my very own ASR (not Barun, my husband silly)
