I share your feelings about the ME – it was okaish for me too. Not better than the Sangeet and Friday's Kiss episodes because of poor editing. Barun emotes extremely well with his eyes and the best of his acting skills are displayed when he's enacting a scene either with Sanaya or Daljeet. However, as you've rightly pointed out, a lot of copy paste job to make up for the reaction shots of Arnav spoiled the 'ArHi Door' scene and even the sequence where Khushi kisses Arnav. Immediately after the kiss, as Khushi retreats in shock her expressions are crystal-clear and for everyone to see to understand her state of mind. Sadly, with Arnav they used his previous 'cutaway' where he's untied Khushi's hair and is looking on at her with even the Bluetooth headset on! (he wasn't wearing the headset when he came to the poolside). I read somewhere that they stayed up the whole night to finish the ME, but instead of rushing things and reducing the effect of treasured moments by degrees, they could have shown some ArHi scenes next week thereby keeping the intensity and perfection of such encounters intact. Just my POV.

Secondly, I really think they are wasting away Abhaas's acting skills by increasingly showing him as some dumb headed, retarded villian who apparently is not even thinking through his plans completely before putting them into action. I mean we don't even know what happened to the much touted scorpion and here we have to watch another of his stupid 'ether in perfume' plan go up in flames! Is there a point of making a ME promo out of Shyam's flop plans if in the end all it would take is maybe 5 minutes for ether to evaporate and there it dies an unceremonious death?? Well, the next week should tell us if the scorpion and ether really have some to role to play or they were just used to mislead us.

Some positives from the ME for me were clearly ASR-KKG's relationship going to the next level with both of them admitting in some way that they are greatly affected by each-others actions. (simply loved the way you've described Khushi's kiss affecting Arnav's senses!)

I think it's good Anjali-nani duo have a strong inkling of the undercurrents between Arnav-Khushi because they will not only from now on compel Arnav to think about Khushi more, but may also help in bringing the two adamant leads in close proximity of each other more often!

However, what confuses me is the pace of the story. It has suddenly become too fast – not that I'm complaining but I sincerely hope the creatives have a good reason behind quickening up the pace which should ideally lead to a new twist instead of just garnering more TRPs in short term. Also why this sudden talk of ArHi marriage by the RM elders? And most surprisingly, Shyam despite witnessing some close ArHi moments does not seem to be making much of their apparent chemistry. Will he be made to catch on to their feelings of love for each other soon or will he remain fixated on killing Anjali also remains to be seen.

What do you think about these unanswered questions, Tanthya? (apologies for such a long post)

I like your interpretation of the Shyam fiasco. I have doubts that Arnav will give him another chance like Khushi did but he'll have more control. Shyam watching all the ArHi interactions seemed to me was that he might became a major cause of misunderstandings between them.

Overall it was a good episode. Nani and Anjali hinting the sparks which make the place go fire was good. it was high time they opened there eyes.

Mami is obviously going to make a big hue out of Payal's broken marriage which will come into every body's knowledge. Its not a thing that could be hidden so easily.

loved arnav reaction to the kiss.. that was the first what the without words. and i liked that they made khushi kiss sweet and spontaneous very fitting to her character. yet her kiss seemed bolder as she did it in front of the family. cuz left upto arnav no one will know of their love... khushi one kiss showed nani the right track to find happiness for her grandson.
