Shaken by the aftermath of Kiss, Khushi hurries to rejoin her family still lost in the moments..and it is Anjali who takes note of Khushi's internal turmoil and not her sister Payal who has her own Shark to play with , nor her dear and dear Amma N bua...A concerned Anajlai assumes the worst on seeing the reddened cheeks of Khushi, Khushi hastily reassures her that Arnav did not descend to mruder [ her]..In damage control mode , Anjali checks the mehendi , discovers the ' A' , ruffles Khushi's already ruffled feather's further, Khushi tries to compose herself but can't stop herself from looking up at her smirking Laad gavarnar..Anjali follows her glance and finally the TL begins to glimmer...
Here then was the first inkling that ARHI romance is going to kickstart soon ...out of all the members, It was Anjali who noted the disquiet of Khushi, was moved enough to ask about it, when she realized that Khushi was acutely embarrassed she tried to divert the attention of the family and also gathered a valuable hint...Will this pave way for understanding when Shyam's shame hits the roof !!..Maami-Payal tussle is confirmed and will happen with the lamb Akash nonethe wiser !!
Ek Hazaron main Meri Behena hai
One of the best moments of this ME..The emotional bond between the siblings was well brought out..The way Khushi offers Payal the morsel to make her eat and how Khushi comes last was quite a interesting insight in the way Khushi sees herself in the hierarchy...does she considers herself as the last and least important or does she think of herself as the shield who protects the family... May she thinks both !!..
EK Ladke ko Dekha tho aisa laga
Cartoon Jaisa !!..Khushi has fits of giggles as soon as she sees Arnav smeared with Haldi ...It says much for the changes wrought in Arnav that he mildly expostulates telling her to stop and it says much for Khushi that the girl who would not even dream of talking with him is actually laughing at him and cracking a joke at his expense ...Loved the way Arnav took control, He pushed the Pooja basket towards her without hesitation, full of authority and like a good girl , Khushi held on to it demurely while Arnav wiped his face clean on HER Duppatta..pointedly telling her that this act of his certainly stopped her giggles and drawing her ire too ..Before Arnav can get into his groove,interruption comes in the form of NK ,stirring the embers of jealousy in Arnav's heart, realizing the fact, Khushi decides to add more fuel by accompanying NK..a move watched by a half smiling Arnav, who perfectly realizes what the lil dervish is upto..NK n Khushi enter the house with NK demanding to know the champion of Haldi match,Khushi involuntarily looks back conceding Arnav did !!..All this is watched by a coldly angry Shyam !!
Ek Dhoka Lijiye, Duja Muft Payiye
Khushi enters Anjali's room on the say so of Anjali to deposit Akash's clothes when her duppatta is caught from behind, shocked she turns and is zapped to see Shyam trying to wipe the Haldi off Khushi's duppattta , In Blazing anger Khushi pulls away her duppatta from Shyam's reach , does not allow him to wipe away the Haldi and walks away after duly warning him ...erroneously thinking that Khushi is angry on him, Shyam prepares the Jalebi's which is not even touched by Khushi ...
This was an interesting scene to me,first the contrasting reaction of Khushi to Arnav & Shyam's holding of duppatta's , second It appeared that Shyam will undertake some moves to get Arnav from Khushi's life, Khushi will come to know of his efforts and will not allow him to do so , second the Duppatta is also a sign of honor.. Shyam may try to besmirch Khushi's name in the guise of warding off the stain but Khushi's timely action may save her.. and his act of blocking her way will not have any effect and nor will she fall for his sweet , vile lies anymore..
Ek chatur naar kar ke singar
Arnav returns and Khushi begins her game of provocation...Knowing that Arnav does not like her talking to NK, she coyly begins to speak to him , coquettishly asks for his suggestion on selecting the bangles... while Arnav fulminates in the couch , drinking his coffee which is sizzling from his increasing temper...while trying out the bangles , few bangles falls down, Khushi repairs to get them back, exposing her bare back..Nk begins to ogle at her back, which is noticed by Arnav...All his instincts shoot up but he controls his surging anger and his instinctive feeling of violence, steps forward and covers up Khushi...A startled Khushi is annoyed , demands the band back, tie up her hair , pointedly tells Arnav that Challenges are not everything and not to take her for granted ..Arnav can only grit out that Khushi herself is unaware of her actions and the consequences of her action and also the fact that she is ignorant of the happenings around her ...Arnav very deliberately and openly declares that he can and will do anything to her and stakes his claim on her while branding himself as her protector ...Their tete is disturbed by Anjali who calls them to pool side where Khushi comes to know that Arnav was actually being chivalrous, a quick look of affection, gratitude at Arnav which is acknowledged by Arnav..
A portent that Khushi in her impulsiveness never considers the results of her action, the effect her mischievous acts has on others , the reaction and feelings it is capable of rousing in others ...Does this mean , when Shyam claims innocence,, Arnav may actually give benefit of doubt to Shyam [although he knows that Khushi is innocent ] ...His second sentence that Khushi remains oblivious of her surrounding implies that Khushi may not be aware of the upcoming clouds of gloom until it bursts on her ...Arnav knows and believes her to be innocent but it appears that she may not escape his wrath were she to interfere ..Plus looks like Arnav will always be there for Khushi even when her back is turned ..Another hint was that Khushi is going to face some challenges and Arnav is telling her not to be cowed by the enormity of the challenges ...Arnav merely curling up his fingers into a tight fist and not actually hitting NK [ unlike Dhabba incident] suggests that he may have to swallow his fury when he comes to know about his BIL for his sister's sake...
Naniji ties up the untied Loop ...does it mean that the Gupta,'s connection is going to end and Khushi is being bound up in Raizada's bond or will she be the one who will bridge the gap between Khushi and Arnav or is it symbolic marriage ..the knot being tied by the elder of the family in the presence of Arnav [am taking creative license here]
Ek Lo Ek Muft
I loved the impulsive, unexpected Kiss of Khushi, this was the Khushi that Arnav was just warning about, a girl who acts first and thinks later !! ..Arnav is astonished ,flabbergasted and very much delighted when he is the recipient of a Kiss from Khushi..no less astonished are his family when the expected volcano does not erupt upon this affront ..So astounded and scared is Khushi by her own effrontery , She decides that retreat is the better part of valor and runs from the site only to be cornered by a swift Arnav at the door..In a voice deepend in passion and strong emotion, Arnav softly whispers out ' " Kya Kiya tumne abhi ? ".., A flippant Khushi hiding the churning going on in her bosoms retorts that she was merely completing the challenge , A disbelieving, outraged Arnav speculates loudly 'really",...Not believing Khushi's assertion a wee bit, The confident Arnav asks did you do this JUST for the bet ??...A agitated Khushi acerbically bites out that bet was the only reason and that she has not lost the bet ...Bet is the last thing on Arnav's mind as he is bent on rattling her ..He leans towards her again, queries whether she is alright and that Khushi's Cheeks have turned red from heightened emotions ..But Khushi will not be daunted , She ripostes that even He does not look alright to her..Meaning that both of them are affected by the kiss and it meant way lot more than what it actually seemed... nonplussed, Arnav slowly lets go of his hand , Khushi seizes this opportunity to escape while a slow smile crosses Arnav's face ..A beautiful scenes which could have been truly wonderful if we did not have the BD and also the copy paste job of Barun's fixated expression... Definitely it needed Barun to emote the various emotions that the Kiss brought in him and the subsequent emotions evoked by the exchange of words between Arnav and Khushi... Had all the makings of a great scene but is enshrined in mediocre bec of the fixed shot...
Ek Doosre se karthe hain pyar hum !!
Both the reluctant lovers are in thrall of the Kiss, unable to do their daily activity, their mind constantly playing over the recent happening..while one is petrified of the intensity of the feelings it educes another is wallowing in the sheer pleasure that it elicits within him, A man who had been kissed by many a beautiful models, by a sophisticated GF and whose kisses left him cold is now restless , after getting a peck from a Girl who is antitheses of him and the society he moves in..Such is the power of love.
...Khushi packing her clothes along with Payal's..Is it her subconscious desire or the fact that she too will be going to the same house very soon
As mahaepisodes go... It was quite a Ok one..with plots unfolding ... Anjali and Naniji are beginning to get some signals. ARHI are damn bothered about anyone and are too intent on one another . Shyam is losing his control day by day. Looks Like Payal's past is going to come up otherwise there was no need to bring it up again and again..
Arnav's new wardrobe --- Good. but please keep the 5 O' clock shadow and get rid of the bristly stubble and over-gelled hair !!
Khushi's new hairstyle suits her and she was looking gorgeous with reduced pom poms ..The new shade of Lipstick fitted to the T !!
It is supposed to be marriage and not some small get together party ..why aren't there more pomp, more splendor..Where are the relatives ?? Where is Shashi, Mamaji ?? ..Now is not the time to stint on expenses .
