Khushi backbites and that is what I dont like about her .

I feel that the slap was a genuine accident, unintentional and unpremeditated----from the performance, KKG was clearly shocked and sincerely contrite. I don't think that it was her intention to humiliate ASR. And, telling NK that she slapped ASR was also a slip. She was so shocked by what she had done she didn't appear to know what she was saying. But, intentions are one thing---actions are another----and ASR had a right to be angry and feel humiliated. Your post made me realize that I have never received a slap, but I can imagine it and would feel awful, and even worse if a third-party knew about it.
KKG made a mistake. ASR has a right to decide how he should feel about her mistake.

However, I don't agree that KKG chronically humiliates or backbites.
There are many early episodes where KKG hid from both Guptas and Raizadas what ASR did to her. In fact, one of the most beautiful aspects of this "thing" between ASR and KKG is that they do protect each other, and share a private relationship that nobody knows about. I think both KKG and ASR have had their unguarded moments and have behaved badly. I think the humiliation ASR felt is equal to what KKG felt when he let her fall with the entire office as witness. This is the joy of watching these flawed imperfect characters. They are as awful to each other as they are tender towards each other.
