Yep the build up was too much for that drama queen of a choreographer and her twit of a assistant!

@Shweta - I am not arguing. I also do not expect a perfect Khushi. This particular flaw though of not accepting when you do wrong is a new one. This was trademark ASR, and something that Khushi reminded him time and again about - she even taught that little boy Barun how to say sorry. So while I wholeheartedly agree that Khushi has flaws, in her character sketch, not owning up to or even reflecting on it in the privacy in her home, is not one of them. This coupled with the mixed signals of doing all of this for tit for tat (this is also new) and then saying that she is doing it for her sister - it all was jumbled up mess that got swept under the a self righteous rug that didn't sit well.

I do not say she needs to apologize because she is just as stubborn and prideful as ASR - but she needs to have that moment like ASR in her room where she says 'shayad' for this one. The old Khushi would have.

Anu,

I hope I did not offend you... I certainly did not imply that you're arguing. You're one of the members of the forum I appreciate for your lovely posts 😊

As for the old Khushi...the present Khushi Has gone through pretty tumultuous times- first getting hopes, then getting them crushed, then giving in to her family and getting engaged, then breaking off the engagement! If you look through the human psychological aspect, such incidents change one's perceptions and thoughts to an extent.
Or maybe, the script writers have changed, so there is not much consistency in the flow of the story.

HI Sush,
I have taken a short term oath to allow the CVs show me the path they intend to travel for this show hence will refrain from any dramatic opinions.
@Priya talked yesterday about Arrogance Unlimited and this is what continued today as well. Khushi now thinks herself as the wronged party and justifies herself with the thought that this is all for my family forgetting that it was Arnav who made her sister's marriage possible.
Nani's raving opinion on her maturity did not make it better. I understand Khushi's intentions are gold but someone needs to have a seriuos chat with her. It seems as if the charaters have suddenly swapped between Arnav & Khushi. His arrogance trasferred to her and her apologetic nature to him.
Whatever ..after 150 episodes I need to see some Pyaar build up from both ends I don't mind episodes as today as long as take me to the final destination soon.
PS : I still have to conclude in my head the purpose of the Cocktail party and how it will fit in the scheme of things
So Lets wait & see.
[/QUOTE]
When was the last time Khushi was apologetic ? Just before the Nainital trip ?

Oh no Shweta - i thought you thought I was arguing with you, but I am not. I agree KKG went through a lot and that is why I said I don't even want rabba ve unless she actually feels something as she is being shown not to. Her being gunshy is understandable. But I thought this aspect of maafi was a cornerstone of her character - because she is the one who taught ASR to do this.

But I think your later point about the writers is the more likely explanation for inconsistency - there is post about it.
