YIPPPEEE...loads of Arhi today...!!

After one episode of the lead couple in the background they were at the forefront again...

Arnav got to see Khushi's world...her challenges...her sorrow/////her difficulties and her happiness...So far Khushi has been a strange object to him ...who is different...but some one who drives him out of his senses in every possible way of the world...be it anger, be it passion, be it attraction, or be it hate...but today for the first time he saw her as a real person...who has her own guilt (feeling responsible for Payal's marriage), her own challenges (taking care of a sick father), her moment of happiness (Payal hug), and her own baggage (Shyamu...who acted weird by any possible definition)...

And it was not so fifficult for him to connect to it all...

He was there to help her when she struggled to open the door while taking babuji inside (wonder what everyone else was doing...Specially Garmia madam)

He cringed when there was a mention of Shyamu...a feeling not too far from what his own beloved Khushi felt

He rejoiced when he saw the sisters hug...

He felt what she felt...They connected like never before...

Then one more proof of a transformed Arnav came...He wanted to apologize to Payal (or was it that he wasn't quite done with Gupta house..and went back because it did not feel like the time to say GoodBye yet)...

He apologized to Payal...but what makes this man the most uncomfortable is being caught being emotional in front of anyone...It makes him feel vulnerable...He feels a loss of control...He hates it...He will put up any facade to oppose it...remember Diwali night? Same pattern yesterday when he tried to look disconnected with Khushi...Thankfully the phone call came right in the nick of time for his defenses to ease a bit..and he said what he felt...His guilt for playing the role he has in Payal's life...

Payal may not be a charmer but one thing that I really like about her character is that she is a very sensible girl...She thanks Arnav for saving her from a marraige about dowry...but she also mentions how Khushi felt...and the Arnav's redemption on this account is complete when he restlessly says...BUT THAT WASN"T KHUHSI"S FAULT...IT WAS MINE>>>>Aww...loved it...Arnie Loved it...

As soon as he spots teary eyed Khushi wanting to say something...he wants to run away...He can't have this open display of emotions in front of Payal...No sir..😊 Defense mechanism goes up...says I don't want to hear anything from you...

But our chamkeeli is not the one to give up on him...if he won't listen on his own SHE WILL MAKE HIM...Way to go Khushi...MAKE HIM!!! By hook or by crook (or by a hair pin in this case😃)...she makes him stop...Tells him Sorry and Dhanyawad...keeps it brief and instructs him...to leave...

Uh..Oh...this couple is in trouble..They are establishing the rules of engagement...and by that I am not referring to engagement as in marriage...but how their relationship will be...Who will make all the rules...who will follow...Or will there be a rule like that? I love it...nothing is a given for them...Nothing conventional...👏

In any case...the whole tyre changing scene was quite funny...Arnie the lion...don't try to show her who wears the pants in the family...because when it comes down to it...she can get her hands dirty and do what traditional girls that youare familiar with (think Anj...)...will never even dream of doing...

But most of all I loved the last bit of exchange...

(I should say you matter to me more than anything...but I won't)

My rating 9.3/10 babuji scenes creep me out...Do they have to make it so dramatic..?YIKES>>

Love how you captured the pleasant essence of today's epi 😊

Today I saw the warmth and softness for Khushi return to Arnav's beautiful eyes. That was missing yesterday...but boy! I was so happy to see his caring side come out today.

High points of the story today:

Arnav being Arnav and NOT the haughty ASR today...

Arnav opening the door for Khushi, being the only one from the Raizada family springing into action to help Khushi

Asking her if he should call the doctor, enquiring about meds for Shashi

Pausing outside the door and glancing back...obviously for Khushi cause he felt her distress! - and something more...

Arnav visibly uncomfortable when Khushi's fiance was being summoned...I loved how he squirmed!

Him apologizing to Payal with so much sincerity in his voice and eyes...and admitting his fault and exonerating Khushi from the blame placed on her shoulders for that fateful night's fiasco

Arnav being amazingly calm and patient about the whole tire puncturing incident. 😆

Though he was understandably irritated with Khushi, who left no stone unturned to make fun of 'Uncle' in front of the mohalla kids 😆, he was not harsh or raging mad at her. Kudos to him!

Arnav's mischievous super cool parting shot to Khushi that he will not say Thanks to her 😆

Khushi saying Thanks and Sorry to him without hesitation...this girl knows when she's wrong and will make amends, no matter what she has to do for that...

Low points of the story today:

Manorama making yet another cruel condescending remark taking potshots at the Guptas' modest means, despite the gravity of the situation at that time!

And when Payal touched her feet for blessings her inner thoughts clearly giving us a glimpse of what Payal has to endure at her hands once she's married to Akash...I'm already dreading that.

Having to see Shyam... he slithered away yet again!

Garima and Buaji still not suspicious about Shyam's sudden disappearance...

Sush, I agree that Shashi's facial expressions looked OTT...but, at that time I could not help but feel pity for him - how frustrating for him to not be able to tell anything to the family! He saw Anji and recognized her and could not do much but make those spasmodic jerky facial movements...and no one can decipher them. As a father, its a heartbreaking situation to be in - he cannot do anything but witness his daughter's life being ruined 😵

I loved Arnav and Payal's conversation, but cringed when Khushi jumped in and drove Arnav back into his reclusive shell...he lost no time making a hasty retreat. She needs to learn to give him space in situations like this. I feel that sometimes Khushi is way too impulsive and speaks before she thinks.

The tire puncturing thing...I thought it was a juvenile thing to do and the significance of the whole scene was questionable to me.

BUT...I loved the light moments that followed, particularly because Arnav was relatively calm...also, these were the good Arhi moments full of light humor.

I loved the way the epi ended...these two are so cute togeher. Her mischief and his wry sense of humor...

Oh and when he opened the door for her to take in her Babuji, those few seconds they looked at each other had so much intensity...unbelievable!

I'm sorry for the long post...just had so much to write today!!

Very true. Its funny how they have their moments without anyone noticing them..😆..True that this is the first time both the families are at the same level as equals.

And it was not so fifficult for him to connect to it all...

Yup He is most uncomfortable in caught being emotional.My only gripe was to see what more he would have said if he hadn't spotted Khushi. I want to see more of Arnav and Payal interactions.

As much as I want to say I loved the Tyre fiasco,I can't.I loved what was said but the whole flattening the tire/messing with the car bit is getting boring.Made a post about it too..

Great take on today's episode Sush! I loved today's episode.

Arnav was a complete sweetheart today the way he helped Khushi when she struggled with the door, unlike everyone else he showed concern for Shashi and asked if there was anything he could do.

Arnav hated hearing of Khushi's fiance, loved the look shared between Khushi and Arnav as she went to knock on the door. Khushi was just as uncomfortable as Arnav was at the thought of introducing Shyam.

I agree with you Sush, Arnav didn't want Khushi to see the vulnerable side to him which is why he asked to speak to Payal privately. The scene between Payal and Arnav was too good, his remorse, her being grateful for being saved and concern for Khushi who walked in at the right time. It was a scene that spoke volumes.

I liked the tire scene too. Arnav has really learnt to control his anger, before he would have exploded at Khushi but instead he controlled himself. Arnav liked hearing Khushi saying she was sorry for misunderstanding him, thanked him but was disappointed when she all of a sudden said bye. The poor guy wanted to talk some more 😆

Love your posts everyday... When I am busy and/or traveling I just catch up on your post to get a quick gist of what's happening. The unpredictability of these two makes it a heady combination to watch (at least when the CVs are thinking).

I loved your post!! It really made me feel like I was watching the episode de-constructed. Sadly, I haven't watched the episode, I'm on a hiatus, exam season (idk how I'm surviving without my beloved couple with such an interesting track, but its going..), so when I catch up in the tiny break I have before my next set of exams, I'm coming back and commenting loads =)

agree with you the guy does not like display of emotions, especially when it comes to kushi. they can be highly unreasonable she did not wanted him to talk to jiji alone and he did not wanted to listen to her 😲
made for each other 😳

he does mind taking responsibility of his mistake when it comes to kushi. i so wish this remains till snake stuff is over ... sigh .

for me no sorry no thank you means a lot. i thought CVs wanted to say that their equation have changed a step after payash mission 😆

loved the way you mentioned that arnav could see real kushi hmm not sure he really thought that much but yeah guy will stand by her but will be kadoos to her.

i too loved the epi, it was a feel good epi before the snake scene

Hey Sugar_babe...Take a break and watch it...otherwise you will spend more time thinkiong about it and wondering!!😃 B...I loved the Payal interaction...too!!! Also loved when Khushi says didi tum inki tarafdari mat karo...abhi tum humaru behen ho inki bhabhi nahi...I would love to see more HAHK types of interactions beteween the two...It would be a treat to watch...😃
