After one episode of the lead couple in the background they were at the forefront again...
So they were and I loved it!!!
Arnav got to see Khushi's world...her challenges...her sorrow/////her difficulties and her happiness...So far Khushi has been a strange object to him ...who is different...but some one who drives him out of his senses in every possible way of the world...be it anger, be it passion, be it attraction, or be it hate...but today for the first time he saw her as a real person...who has her own guilt (feeling responsible for Payal's marriage), her own challenges (taking care of a sick father), her moment of happiness (Payal hug), and her own baggage (Shyamu...who acted weird by any possible definition)...
You said it ... in this visit, he saw Khushi in her own world, and all the challenges she faces on a daily basis ... I hope it does remind him of his own times and what he went through as well ... making the connection stronger ...
And I loved the sisters' hug today ... and Arnav's expressions as he saw it ...
And it was not so difficult for him to connect to it all...
He was there to help her when she struggled to open the door while taking babuji inside (wonder what everyone else was doing...Specially Garmia madam)
AND he stayed to check if she needed a doctor, medicines ... in short he was there for her ... okay, he redeemed himself from my bad books of yesterday 😉
This Garima, sorry to say, is a waste of space ... cv's, bring back the previous actress, she was so much stronger!
I loved Khushi's expressions in that scene ... random, I know, but I just did!
He cringed when there was a mention of Shyamu...a feeling not too far from what his own beloved Khushi felt
Again, I liked both their expressions there ... also liked her obvious hesitation in calling her own fiance ... hope he noticed that too, or was he too busy fuming? That would work for me as well! 😆
He rejoiced when he saw the sisters hug...
Like I said, I loved their expressions there 😳
He felt what she felt...They connected like never before...
Then one more proof of a transformed Arnav came...He wanted to apologize to Payal (or was it that he wasn't quite done with Gupta house..and went back because it did not feel like the time to say GoodBye yet)...
He hadn't had his regular daily dose of Khushi madness to lighten up his day, that's why he went back ... apology toh sirf bahana tha! 😆
He apologized to Payal...but what makes this man the most uncomfortable is being caught being emotional in front of anyone...It makes him feel vulnerable...He feels a loss of control...He hates it...He will put up any facade to oppose it...remember Diwali night? Same pattern yesterday when he tried to look disconnected with Khushi...Thankfully the phone call came right in the nick of time for his defenses to ease a bit..and he said what he felt...His guilt for playing the role he has in Payal's life...

Payal may not be a charmer but one thing that I really like about her character is that she is a very sensible girl...She thanks Arnav for saving her from a marraige about dowry...but she also mentions how Khushi felt...and the Arnav's redemption on this account is complete when he restlessly says...BUT THAT WASN"T KHUHSI"S FAULT...IT WAS MINE>>>>Aww...loved it...Arnie Loved it...
I really liked Payal in this scene ... she accepted his apology very gracefully, and lessened his own guilt by telling him that he actually saved her from a bad marriage ... it was true, but none of her own family, except for babuji had ever acknowledged that ... that Khushi's latecoming that night was actually a blessing in disguise for Payal ... for Payal to say this to Arnav was incredibly graceful. For once I liked Payal's acting and dialogue delivery here, ... and also, I was VERY glad that she brought up that Khushi still felt guilty about it. And liked Arnav's instantaneous response 'it wasn't Khushi's fault' ... his protectiveness showing again after ages!!!
As soon as he spots teary eyed Khushi wanting to say something...he wants to run away...He can't have this open display of emotions in front of Payal...No sir..😊 Defense mechanism goes up...says I don't want to hear anything from you...
Yep ... and also maybe what Payal just said - that it was Khushi who suffered the burden of guilt because of his actions? So he actually needs to apologise to Khushi again ... but he's not ready for that one yet ... too much emotion involved.
But our chamkeeli is not the one to give up on him...if he won't listen on his own SHE WILL MAKE HIM...Way to go Khushi...MAKE HIM!!! By hook or by crook (or by a hair pin in this case😃)...she makes him stop...Tells him Sorry and Dhanyawad...keeps it brief and instructs him...to leave...
This reminded me of a scene from some Western sitcom, am trying to remember - Phoebe in Friends? The last bit ... after an emotional speech, the sudden "ok, I'm done now, bye." 😆
Uh..Oh...this couple is in trouble..They are establishing the rules of engagement...and by that I am not referring to engagement as in marriage...but how their relationship will be...Who will make all the rules...who will follow...Or will there be a rule like that? I love it...nothing is a given for them...Nothing conventional...👏
Their only convention will be ... if one makes a rule, the other will challenge it! Arnav bitwa, far cry from what your life with La would be ... 😆 If you want a peaceful life, stay far away from Khushi! If you want a LIFE, as opposed to just living, get off your bu** and go get your girl!!!
In any case...the whole tyre changing scene was quite funny...Arnie the lion...don't try to show her who wears the pants in the family...because when it comes down to it...she can get her hands dirty and do what traditional girls that you are familiar with (think Anj...)...will never even dream of doing...
Loved his challenge - I can't change it, so what? As if you can??!! And of course she can!!
Little bit of carping here though - factual error, she let the air out, she didn't puncture the tyre, all it needed was an air pump ... why bother to change the tyre? Isn't Happyji's garage right next door and doesn't it have an air pump? And I didn't really like her announcing it to the world that he can't change a tyre ...
But most of all I loved the last bit of exchange...
I should say sorry but I won't - because you should have stopped and listened to me when I told you to. Not asked you to - TOLD you to. You asked for it. 😛
I should say Thanks but I won't.. because if you do something stupid and get yourself into a mess, you make up for it, I'm not going to play hero and do it for you. You asked for it. 😛
(I should say you matter to me more than anything...but I won't)
Wonder how they will eventually say it ... judging by the way they're going, it will not be a conventional I LOVE YOU by any means!!!
My rating 9.3/10 babuji scenes creep me out...Do they have to make it so dramatic..?YIKES>>
Would love your take/ feed-back guys...😃 IPKKND ROCKED TODAY!!
Loved your take, Sush ... especially after the dose of negativity on the forum ... I was expecting rank silliness on Khushi's part, and was pleasantly surprised by what I saw. Enjoyed the episode ... and your take!!!
