So what can I say about today's episode that hasn't probably alreday been said... The whole epiosde was a treat to watch...Let me first start by saying...the lighting and the ambiance was so much like the promo...I have always wondered when was that picture taken when Arnav and Khushi are together, the picture he holds in his hand standing in the rain and crubles it...and she looks at it...She looked so much like how she did in that promo...(any way thats probably not even relevant because promos are taken in different attire than the real scene...)...

OK..coming back to the episode..apart from everything else that has already been appreciated...Like Khushi's dialogues, their nok -jonk...etc etc...There are 2 things I LOVED about todays episode...

1) I am glad that Payal had the guts to refuse Akash the way she did and remind Arnav of his past behavior...all that the Gupta family had to go through and the part he had to play in it...Khushi is too nice and too much in love with the Khadoos to bring all that up...but I am glad Payal is there to be thinking about Khushi's feelings...It matters to her...I am glad it matters to some one how Khushi feels/ felt...

2) I loved not one but both Gupta sisters breaking Arnav's claim that they are after money...they will jump at the first opportunity to grab a Raizada...Do you think ODB will remember this next time he talks to KKG about being a golddigger?

The most intriguing part in todays epiosde was Arnav decided to do what he decided to do...A few weeks back when this promo came up...I wrote...What does..Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada really stand for? Through out the serial..he has been consistent about one thing...that he is class conscious...He does not think highly of people who do not have money...So why on earth is he trying to fix his brother's marriage with a girl who shares the exact same background he is supposed to hate about Khushi...????

It is certainly not love as he pointed out himself...

So is it because he feels guilty about what he has done and he wants to fix it?

Or is it because he can not take "no" for an answer and the fact that Khushi was opposing something means he has to go all out to be against that?

Or is it because...he is being a big brother who will get the candy for his younger brother if he wants it? (This trait of him for Akash has certainly not been visible so far in the serial)😃

Whatever be his reason...one thing is for sure...this track will hopefully let him examine...exactly what is it that he does not like about Khushi? Why is he unable to take charge of his own life and make a sensible decision for himself as he seems to do for other people?

Or is it because marrying Khushi for him is not a sensible decision and marrying La is...?

Enough questions for discussions...Please do post comments/ feed-back...I am hoping my buddies Diya and Shweta to chime in with answers as well...

Rating...9.6/10...Still leaving room for Arhi passion for each other when they truly unite...

My thoughts are that he was guilty and decided to correct the situation only because his family was involved.

Awww, thanks for mentioning me in your post and thinking that I'm worthy of chiming in...it means a lot 😃

Okay here goes:

I don't think there's anyone on the forum who must not have liked the epi today.

I loved it too.

We got to see a very different side of Arnav today - his brotherly love for Akash.

Don't get me wrong, but I've always felt that Arnav always stresses on his love for Di and is extremely business - like and sometimes too formal with the others in his house.

Many eons ago when they showed him ready to leave the house for Lavanya, I was appalled at his behavior and wondered about how wrong his priorities are...

But, gradually we got to see the real Arnav behind that ruthless business tycoon exterior.

Today's episode was a revelation of sorts of how loving Arnav actually is..seeing him uncomfortable and disturbed for his brother's sadness showed a totally new angle to his personality.

I was totally sure he'd pursue Payash union issue just to prove Khushi wrong...but, I was proved wrong.

Sush, in response to your question, as to why he's playing matchmaker, I think its a combo -

its mainly because he loves and cares about his younger brother and wants to get him his favorite candy - he did not bring up Payal's aukaat after coming to know that Akash is truly in love with her.

I was so sure he'd bring that up (he did mention it in the cafe...but that was before the entire truth was out) and vehemently oppose it - but he simply omitted it. It does not matter to him. All he wants is his brother to be happy

Secondly, he did feel guilty for being responsible for Payal's tooti hui shaadi - yes, this Rakshas does have a conscience!! He proved it. I mean who's Payal?! He should not even be bothered about her. Yet there was a look of instant realization and regret on his face when payal revealed the truth. And also because he remembered how Khushi had pleaded with him and told him the truth, but he did not believe her and proceeded to unknowingly cause upheaval in the Gupta family's lives.

I am sure he's not doing it to satisfy his ego or to prove Khushi wrong. He's doing it both for his brother and to set things right with Payal too.

Now the question about him marrying La - its clear its a deal to him. He himself does not realize at yet that he loves Khushi - heck he does not know what love is!!

That is why he got ready to get married to La. It seemed like the best deal to make...

He's become a successful tycoon by finalizing deals, getting profits and thinking of everything in terms of business only.

Only Khushi can make him realize about his emotions which are there inside him, yet he's unaware of them.

Khushi herself is unaware of her own feelings - they both need to interact more and spend more time together to make each other realize their feelings for each other. Theirs can be a symbiotic relationship if you please - mutually beneficial for the couple 😊

Edit: Forgot to write: totally agree with your rating and your analysis 👍🏼...I loved the epi today because things moved fast, there was a good blend of romance (Akash's bold on his knees proposal to Payal), comedy and drama and there was no Snake Darshan nor any spoilsport scenes. Just uninterrupted scenes of the Hotwa and Lucknow siblings...😃

Awesome analysis!!

The episode was really fantastic! especially Arnav-Khushi interactions.

The start where both the leads are astonished to find their siblings in a conversation that take literally guts to speak up 'bout!

Arnav's question to Aakash was will he be able to spend all his life with Payal or not, well i think Arnv was being more than the big brother! He doesn't want Aakash to make the same mistake as he's making!

i give a 10/10 to this episode!! The acting was brilliant as well as the theme of today's episode!!

I also find it interesting that he said... I AM ALWAYS RIGHT...!! Albeit the context was different...but the smugness was there!! This point to be made in today's epiosde...when he knew exactly that he was wrong in not believing KKG the first time they met... Did he forget...or there was no realization?

Sorry for my rant...Guys...I think I am feeling that he is making the status difference a non-issue for Payash...but for Khushi he has made it a big issue...As much as I loved todays episode...I think I am saying...NOT FAIR!!!

Hiya SUSH!!! 9.6 works today!! They managed to tell the story without beating around the bush and in a single episode with no other character getting any screen space. 👍🏼

I believe Arnav acted out of guilt and partially out of his love for his brother. He acknowledged (atleast to himself) that he was in the wrong and he is acting upon HIS need to set it right. That his brother is in love with the collateral to his misdirected anger, is an added incentive. But he is primarily easing his conscience, IMO.

The only gripe I have with the creatives is yet another reminder of the difference in their background. He is a sophisticated man of the world who pulls a chair for the lady while she doesn't even share his phonetics let alone sophistication. They need to somehow bridge this gap to make is as real as the characterizations. Just my opinion!! I loved the episode, the performances and am looking forward to this track, cuz this has no room for the slime and the grime of the show!!!

GOOD ONE!!!!😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 He surely is all that😊

Jokes aside..., Sorry Renu...I have to say..this...ASR is not as sophisticated as we would like to believe...Sophisticated men don't scream like him and they don't certainly mock people of lesser means than themsleves...

I am glad the CVs are giving a him a chance to redeem himself by setting things right in context of Payal...so that we will know that all he said to Khushi was because of his other emotions not beacuse he really believes in all that...😍

MY take is that Arnav felt guilty that HE and his refusal to listen to Khushi on that night in Lucknow played a DIRECT part in the break up of Payal's wedding! At least NOW he KNOWS for sure that K was telling the truth!

He also feels bad that Akash is sad, and he wants to "close the deal" for him if this is what he REALLY wants! Remember Anjali is married to Shyam? HE is not rich either! So it appears that all this "gold digger" stuff is mostly a defense mechanism and maybe something Arnav reserves for females?

Having said that MAMI used to be a servant of the Raizada's before her ASSENT to the status of Mrs Raizada by hoodwinking the Uncle! BUT we NEVER see Arnav treat her with anything other than respect!

SO this "class conciouse" thing is a little conflicting, and a bit in-consistant! He ALWAYS brings up "Aukaat and Hesiyat" with Khushi! Probably to make her dislike him and to upset her because SHE effects him too much!

We saw that in the dressing room scene! HE was drawn to her and came to her like a moth to a flame and when he tired to touch her and she backed away... he attacked her by bringing up the price of the sari!

SO it's all a bit up in the air! I think he wants to be a GOOD brother, and also right a wrong at the same time! Hence the support for PAYASH!

Either way... LOVING this track away from the "MAHA FOOLS of RM"!

Good post!

I'd say some huge realization on his part... Hit him like a ton of bricks didn't it? He's been wrong about her all along, his ill feelings towards her were unfounded, his belief that she lied from the get go has crumbled, their mostly hate/hurt filled journey so far was kick started by him, and now it's come full circle and devastated a member of his family.

That's a lot to digest for one brief encounter in a cafe. 😆 Still, I love how he always remains a doer.. Positive or negative, he's not one to sit idle and just let things happen. And, a voluntary step in the right direction can only be applauded. Besides, I don't think he's ever going to want to piss Payal off again... I could swear he's a little scared of her. 🤣
