So the episode begins with Khushi finding out a minor truth yet it culminates with Arnav not being able to admit the truth of his love; not just to Khushi, but more importantly to himself.
A Dance
The episode starts on a light note, the 3 women dancing aiming to mollify an upset Khushi. Nani's jhatke certainly did the trick as Khushi forgave them instantly; the girl really does wear her heart on her sleeve.
A Smile
My personal favourite part of the episode was that warm smile which graced Arnavs face seeing Khushi dance. Her smile and her laughter is contagious,it even warmed the man who says he can't love or doesnt believe in love. It was just so innocent and so beautiful and so heartwarming. It's nice to see that only she can evoke this sort of emotion from within him.
The Truth
Arnav knows that he loves her, or perhaps somewhere deep down in a recess of his locked heart he is beginning to acknowledge that she means more to him than he is showing, but he is too scared to admit it. Khushi has unknowingly unlocked the floodgate of emotion which has been building within him for years and is now having to deal with the ramifications of him not understanding what is happening to him. The following lines which Arnav voiced was absolutely brilliant. The man know's something is happening to him, he knows that hearing that she is engaged has infuriated him, yet he can't pinpoint why this is happening. The myriad of emotion was evident in his eyes; the hurt, angst, love and fear swirled all at once and it was heartwrenching. Barun's voice modulation was simply superb.
All in all, a brilliant episode!
